Dan Simon Heating and Cooling

Dan came over promptly at 7 am and checked system, thermostats and burners. He replaced a part and made adjustments. He was professional and friendly and also made some suggestions for the A/C units for later this spring. Everything is working now.

My downstairs HVAC unit is over 20 years old and had stopped blowing cold air. Whenever I get it serviced, I have to endure the pitches from the Service Company to replace the unit. So I tried Craigslist and found Dan Simon. I called him at 4:00 PM, Friday afternoon and explained the situation. He said he could be at my house at 7:00 AM the very next morning. At 6:58 AM, his truck was in my driveway, and he knocked on the door at precisely 7:00 AM. Dan went to check the unit and came back into the house several minutes later; it was just the outside breaker had tripped. He reset the breaker and checked the units which didn't seem to need cleaning. I asked him to clean and check the units anyway since it's been a couple of seasons since they were checked. He checked them, then went into the attic to check the upstairs air handler, which had some water in the pan...he checked it and gave me some advise for keeping it clean. Overall, I was very pleased with Dan's service. And his price was great, the cost of the service call plus checking and servicing two units was about half the cost of the large Service companies! After getting ripped off by Brother's, Dan came to the rescue and was able to resolve my issues for a fraction of the price. His response time and punctuality was amazing. I didn't think service like this still existed. Dan took me step by step and I was able to learn how to help prevent some major issues. Save yourself time, money and aggravation and call Dan he's definitely the man.
