Ager's Landscaping, Gen. Handyman, Dock Repairs

,.On May 24 2015 larry ager signed a contract to replace and repair the fence along my property line with work to be completed by July 1 2015. He required a deposit of $1500.00 to purchase materials. Based on my previous experiences with him I agreed and gave him a check for $1500.00 which he cashed. I have my bank statement with the cancelled check. At some time when I was not at home a few rusty, muddy, used metal fence posts were placed on my property. I assume they came from larry. He had received metal fence posts in exchange for work he had done on a farm in the past. Iknow the family who own the farm. In other words he did not purchase any materials with my deposit. Also we did not discuss or specify the use of used materials for this project! I have telephoned larry numerous times during this time period. Sometimes he responded within several days and sometimes not at all. When he did return my call he stated he would come to my house in several days. This never happened. in mid July he stated he had fallen on a shovel handle and needed to rest. A week or so later he stated that his saw had been stolen and he needed to get another. On July 13 ,2015 I sent a registered letter to him ,stating the contract was up and no work had been done and that therefore I expected a full refund of the deposit. I have received no response.

I signed a contract with Ager to repair and replace my fence and I gave him $1500 down as a deposit to buy new materials. However he will not return my calls now and will not return my money. He has not even started the work and it has been 42 days since he has cashed the check.

He clearly explained what we would need, and did exactly what he said (and more). Net result, my wife almost had tears in her eyes when she said that she never thought she would see the lawn and beds look as nice as they were when we lived in the home. As we were out of town, he took it on himself to water regularily, and tend to any weeds while it was on the market. You will not be disappointed.

Him and his wife painted the inside of my house as well they, made it look wonderful, he and his wife work as a team. They were punctual, very pleasant and polite. It was more like working with a couple of good friends.

They are very professional, fair priced, don't gouge on prices, and they always call before they come.
