They have always done an excellent job and respond quickly any time I need their help, in addition to the quarterly treatments for insects and mice. Being on contract with them for insects, I also get a discount on the removal of additional unwanted animals. I think their prices are reasonable.
Description of Work: I first used AA Wildlife to capture several raccoons living under my house, repair all the damage they had done and sanitize the area. They did a great job. Later they lured a raccoon out of my attic and repaired the hole through which it had entered. They have left bait in the attic for mice and are currently on a contract to eliminate insects in the house.

Because I don't know what other pest control companies charge, I don't know whether AA Wildlife's charge was comparable - but I do know that they responded when others didn't, and fixed the problem fast - so as far as I am concerned, the price was right!
Description of Work: During a home renovation, we discovered we had bats and snakes in our attic (snake-eating bats?). We needed someone to come in a hurry, since we had a whole contracting crew on site and they couldn't work on the area until things were cleared up. AA Wildlife was the first pest control company to respond to my late-Friday calls. Steve was at our house very early on Saturday morning, provided us with a complete inspection and remediation plan, and returned on Monday to handle the clean-up. The contractors were able to finish their work, and I'm confident that our critter issue is over. AA Wildlife was responsive and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again (although I hope I don't need to!)

Never caught the racoon but after three weeks there was no sounds or trace of the racoon in the attic. We were out of town for 3 weeks and they needed reminder phone calls to check the trap and report back by phone. After we returned, the technicial put sheet metal over the suspected entrance.

AA wildlife rescued a squirrel that had gotten trapped in our chimney. Clint did a great job and was even careful about making a mess. We appreciated his prompt attention and conscientious service. Additonally, this all happened on a Sunday. Their emergency rates were quite reasonable and their responsiveness was exceptional.

2 years ago, we came home from vacation to find 8 bats in our house. Not the attic - there were many, many more up there. The 8 bats were flying around the living areas of our home. Of course, we didn't see all 8 at once; it was over the course of a few days. We called AA Wildlife at the suggestion of someone at the county Department of Health. They came out the same day, evaluated the situation and told us what we needed to have done. We immediately agreed and work began that day. Then, we went to the hospital to get our rabies shots.... The work consisted of getting all bats safely out of the house and then sealing up the house so that the bats couldn't get back in. Never saw another bat in the house or in the attic... Until last week. Our dog started barking in our bathroom (the favorite place of our former bat friends) at 2:00am one morning. I went to investigate: flipped on the light, started to step into the bathtub to look out the window next to the tub and saw him laying there. Another bat friend. Closed the door, sealed it off with a towel. Next morning, called AA Wildlife. First, I got great advice that I'd forgotten from the first go around: if you see a bat in your house, throw a towel on it and call animal control. I have to say, the woman from Animal Control came within an hour (I think she remembered us from 2 years ago), caught the bat and took him away. Steve came out again, and immediately noticed that we'd had work done to our house. Due to that work, the mesh he'd placed over the gables 2 yrs ago were taken down and much of the sealant needed to be replaced. Shame on me for not noticing. Steve worked around the rain and thunder storms to complete the work and I am confident that our bat friends will hang out on the outside of our house (I am one of the people who like bats because they eat mosquitos, just don't want them living in my house) from now on. Steve did a great job of showing my husband and me the various openings around the house, and how he sealed them. I highly recommend AAWildlife's services.

My husband found baby bats in our attic and we called looking for someone to give us a quote for the prevention and removal of the waste. AA Wildlife was the only company, out of three that we called who was available to come out same day. They came, identified the problem areas and told us what we needed to do to eliminate this problem. While there were some bats in one area of our attic, AA began the next day putting up what was necessary in nooks and crannies to prevent them from getting into the other areas of our house. They also noticed we had woodpeckers that had been pecking at our house and put up mylar tape to prevent them from pecking at our house. Because part of our house had bats, and we are in the "moratorium" period we weren't able to do anything to that area until the babies grew up and they were out of the house. This happened about 4 weeks later. When the bats were gone, AA came back in and cleaned up the guano left by the bats and then secured the area so they couldn't come back. We haven't seen a bat since. The guys did a great job, were very professional and told it to us straight. They worked when they said they were going to and finished on time and completed the job. I would use AA again in the future. While I admit I don't know what all was involved at the granular level, the price for this seemed a bit steep for me. However if it keeps the bats away forever, it will be money well-spent!

Well it went great at first. Clint came out and set the trap. I had already had a trap under the house which had caught a possum. Clint took the trap to take care of it. He set another trap, since I had heard another under the house. Clint came back several days later to removed another possum. He also told me that he could build a new door that goes under the house for a extra charge, which I agreed to. He set another one just to make sure there wasn't any more. He came back maybe a week later to find no more and told me that he has built the door and was going to paint it and have it to me in a couple of days. After several calls and one face to face conversation , I still don't have my door and he still has my trap. Using this company was more of a headache than the possums. I would not recommend this company at all. I also talked to Clint's boss at one point and he told him what was going on and he denied that Clint would have done such a thing. I'm so disappointed in this company. I just knew that after talking to them that this was the company for me, BUT I WAS MISTAKEN

They called at the appointed time to tell me they'd be 30 minutes late and then arrived per their promise. Two gentlemen arrived and we discussed the price details: $129 service charge for showing up, $60 per bird nest extrication, and $35 per bird guard installation. They performed a quick outside inspection from the ground of all of the 4 raised exhaust vents and determined that only the 2nd story vent showed evidence of bird infiltration. I told them to work only on the 2nd story vent to keep the cost down, because I don't like taking unnecessary risks on tall ladders at this stage of my life, and the rest are at heights that are acceptable to me to handle myself. They told me they were unable to reach deep enough from outside to extricate the bird nest and had to go into the attic to remove it. They told me they removed a small bird nest, sprayed and repaired the torn exhaust tube in the attic, and then they fastened a cheap universal bird guard to the vent from outside. I wish they had shown me the bird nest to validate the work, but I suppose the price was worth someone else climbing a tall ladder instead of me. They were pleasant and informative. Given the comments I've seen regarding competitor pricing, I'd say I received reasonable value for my money.

They came and accessed where I had seen a squirrel get in my attic. They temporarily closed area off and came back after weekend to see if area had been disturbed. Since it had not, they installed an aluminum angle around perimeter of my house to minimize the construction gap and make it nearly impossible to gain entry into my attic by squirrels, mice, etc without chewing through my roof. The also put aluminum chicken wire type fencing over my roof vents to keep birds out. They were very knowledgeable and responsive to what I needed done. They were a pleasure to work with.

I used AA Wildlife back in April of 2009 because I had wasps in my attic and when Shawn came to remove the wasps he also showed me that I had bats nesting in my attic. I was within like a week of when the Federal law does not allow you to remove bats for a certain time frame because of some protection period. Thankfully he was able to get rid of the wasps and the bats and he sealed up my roof vents with wire mesh and some black foam sealant so the bats would not come back. I have had no problems since. I contacted them again recently because I was in a walk-in storage area off my bonus room and heard what I thought were squirrels. I called immediately and Shawn sent someone out within a few hours to check. No squirrels found and they said that when I was in the storage area I probably was hearing a squirrel run across the roof which would sound as if it was in the wall. They checked all around the outside of my house for any possible openings and said everthing was sealed tight and to call them back if I heard the noise again. I have head nothing since that day... I have been satisfied with my experiences with Shawn's company and will use him again in the future.

I called AA Wildlife because there was an terribly awful smell in my kitchen that was coming from behind my refrigerator. The smell was absolutely horrendous and was noticable to anyone who came inside my house. When my regular pest control company came they told me a mouse or other rodent had died "inside my wall"and that there was NOTHING that could be done other than wait it out for a few weeks. I called AA Wildlife and Shawn Irish personally answered the phone. He was very friendly and professional. I told him the situation and how hard it had become to be home with this smell. He assured me that he would be able to take care of it and immediately scheduled a time to come over later that afternoon. When he arrived he went straight to my refrigerator, pulled it out and used a drill to remove the back of the fridge where the mechanical parts were. He knew exactly where to look and showed me that the mouse had died inside the refrigerator looking for water and all his insides had been scattered about by the refrigerator fan. He took a chemical spray and paper towels and thoroughly cleaned it out. He took his time and assured me that the chemical used would do its job and kill the smell. He told me if the smell wasnt gone completely in a few days, he would come back and spray again for no extra charge. He then asked me if my house had been treated for mice which it hadn't (My regular pest control company didn't even ask me this when they came to look for the source of the smell) Shawn then treated my house with tiny bags of mice poison covered in peanut butter. He looked in the attic where he showed me evidence of the mice droppings. (Again something that my other company didnt do either) He informed me that when mice die from poison they don't smell as they dry up inside. (Again, my regular company didn't telll me this either) I would never use my old company again and will only call AA Wildlife in the future for any and all my pest control needs. THey respond quickly, are extremely knowlegable and profesional and they are very pleasant to work with.

Tony from AA Wildlife came to evict bats from the eaves of my house. He was pleasant and polite. First he inspected the roofline for potential access openings, then he checked the attics in the house. Because I had already had my house sealed, except for the obvious entrance that the bats were using, it was not necessary for AA to seal my house. So I can't say how much they would charge to do that. Because I had once had a bat to enter the exhaust pipe of my kitchen range hood, Tony also climbed onto my very steep roof to seal the vent cover. Punctuality was my only complaint. Tony called to let me know that school traffic was preventing his arriving on time, but he arrived 30 minutes late. Not sure unexpected traffic could account for all that. And when it was time to come back to seal the exit opening, he waited 13 days, when the usual time needed is three/four. It was cold, and one needs to be sure that all the bats are out, but I'm just reporting all aspects. When he had sealed the opening, Tony painted the caulk and also either cleaned off or painted over the nasty evidence of the bat activity on the side of the house. It looks like it was never there! Great job! I would use them again, but I hope it's a long time before I need them !
Description of Work: Roof, eaves, and attics of house inspected for bats. Escape valve installed that permits bats to exit, but doesn't allow them reentry. Sealing of this last opening after a period of time to allow for escape. Painting over the sealant for a neat appearance.

Wonderful company. Will definitely use them again when needed.
Description of Work: This is the second time I have used AA Wildlife. They came out in April 2009 for wasp and bat removal in my attic. They did a wonderful job and were very professional. I called them again because I heard noises in my storage area off the bonus room and thought I might have squirrels. They came out the same day and check the outside of my house and the attic. They found no signs of any animals and no openings outside that they felt they could access the house. So, after a complete check I paid them for a service call and they said if I heard anymore noises to call them back and they would set traps. They are very prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I will use them again.

We had squirrels in the attic... my regular people couln't come and they referred AA wild life. AA came the same afternoon.. saw the squirrels and found where they were coming in.. They put 2 traps... one for exiting and one for additional visitors. The next day they returned and removed 2 squirrels and released them into the wild.... far from my home. Another squirrel was captured trying to enter the attic. It was removed and later released. The tech came back 2 weeks later removed the traps and repaired the hole. I was pleased with AA, they quickly removed the critters and released them back into the wild. One day there were 2 possums in the back of the truck. one had babies... one was giving birth... It was awesome. He coved the cage and provided water and food. The animals were treated well.

They saved my bacon. I was very amazed and astounded. I appreciated their professional approach and their solution. They did a great job. It was a convoluted roofing expense. There were a bunch of architectural details. They went in and sheet melded the heck out of it. You can't even tell that it is there. It was a very professional job and crew. I would definitely recommend them. I give them an A on everything.

Shaun sent someone he knew locally to come out. The guy went into the attic and apparently just stood there looking around as we did not hear him moving around. After about 5 or 10 minutes he came down and said he couldn't find the snake (the garage attic is continuous on to the rest of the house attic) and there is insulation up there. I would expect it would take some time to look. He also said he couldn't tell where the snake could get in although obviously there was somewhere it got in. He "assumed" it has crawled out and said there was no way to leave a trap just in case it hadn't. Then I asked him to check the crawl space as I always have snakes in there. He found a baby one and caught it. They charge $150 to come out and another $50 for each snake they catch. Actually my regular exterminator was more helpful than these guys. When he came for his quarterly spraying, he checked my attic and walked the whole thing and checked for entrances. While he didn't find one, he did note that my the cutout space for my unvented fireplace runs from attic to crawl space so possibly was accessed that way. He also left traps for mice which may have enticed snake.
Description of Work: We called them to remove a snake from our attic which my daughter had just seen in the garage attic lying on a screened cutout in the attic ceiling. This was last summer. It just never occurred to me to file on Angie's List because I didn't get the name off Angie's list. However today it did occur to me to look for someone because summer is coming and I want to be sure my house is sealed properly to avoid this occurrence again.
