Description of Work: I was told a service agent would be at my house between 1pm and 3pm. At 3pm I called Tyson to ask where is the service guy and they said he was tied up in Concord that there was some kind of problem and he had to go back but I am his next stop. At 5pm the service did not show yet, I called Tyson and they said he was on his way from Concord, I explained that I had canceled some appointments for this and needed to know for sure he is on his way because Tyson would not answer their phone after 5pm they assured me he was on his way and gave me his number. At 6pm still no service I called the service number I was given and the service guy was very responsive and explained that he was down in Charlotte on Tryon St and was on his way to my house. At 7pm he shows up and fixes my heating problem and explains what the problem was, he also added that he had to go to Concord after my appointment. The receptionist at Tyson lied to me when I tried to get a idea when I was going to get service she knew that the service guy was not at Concord, she knew that I was not next on the service list, she knew service was never was going to be at my house between 1 and 3pm as promised. The receponist represent Tyson and what the stand for and that is a Company that you cannot trust. The one and only good person I had contact was the guy doing the service. I felt he was honest and trustworthy in addition to his knowledge of heating systems.

 + -1 moreWe have a home warranty which came into play concerning our payment. Tammy at Tyson was SO GREAT at helping us get what we needed from the warranty company. She really knows what she's doing. Tyson came out and spent the day in our extremely hot attic. They even put up with our 4 big dogs. They all are very friendly and don't hesitate to answer any questions or offer advice. We are totally pleased and will use them in the future.

 + -1 moreTyson installed the new coil with the adapter and the system is now working fine. Although not part of the service call, they noticed that the condensate drain line was installed improperly and they fixed that. They also installed a cutoff in the drain pan to prevent a leak that could have damaged the ceiling under the unit. They were extremely neat and whenever they came inside they always either took off their boots or put on shoe covers. We took out a maintenance contract with them and will definitely continue to use them.
Description of Work: Our A/C was not working and Tyson was referred to us by our home warranty plan. Tyson determined that the coil in the air handler was leaking freon and had to be replaced. They told us that, unfortunately, it was a system with old-style freon and parts have been discontinued. Rather than having to replace the whole system, they were able to locate a new coil that with the addition of an adapter would work in our system.
