I needed a custom door because the size of my shower door is slightly smaller than the standard doors available at Home Depot or Lowes and I wanted a clear door which was only available as a very expensive special order item from these store ($1000+). The Working Glass gave me a much better price for my shower door than the competition in this category. They also do not have a minimum "job" price so I was charged only for the door and installation. The new door looks beautiful. They did a wonderful job installing it. They were prompt, courteous and very professional. I am very happy with the results and would recommend them very highly.
Description of Work: I purchased a custom semi-frameless clear glass shower door to replace an existing very old hammered glass framed door. They removed my existing door, installed the new door, and hauled the old one away.

Things started out very well. They were friendly, prompt and professional. Details were discussed and options were outlined. Communication was good. The salesman took several measurements and I chose a simple but high quality glass door to fit the space. A week later the installers arrived with the door and did a nice job of putting it in my shower, only to discover that there was a large gap on one side. The salesman had noticed that the doorway was not perfectly square, but had assured me that the glass could be cut to compensate for this. When the installers agreed with me that the gap was unacceptably wide, they remeasured and had another piece of glass cut. The door now looks much better, but it still was cut perfectly square for a frame that is not so perfect. So now the glass nearly rubs the tile at the bottom edge (like a mm to spare), but has an acceptable gap in the middle. I hope my house doesn't shift any or this door won't be able to close.
Description of Work: Installed a custom frame less glass shower door in a new shower.
