Description of Work: Tekshop of North Carolina served by Jim and Connie Rankin have provided service for my computer needs for more than 15 years. I have purchased several computers from Tekshop, had computers upgraded and repaired by them, and I have my offsite backup through them. In addition, because their work is so excellent and so ethical, I have given my used computers to them to be scrubbed and offered to someone else who needs them. Even though I now live 2 hours from Tekshop I drove the 4 hours round trip yesterday to pick up my new computer and learn from Jim how to use it. It is completely worth it. He always provides personal service, meaning he sets up the computer according to what I need and not according to a generic setup. He has never sold me more computer than I need or can use. He is available to his customers by phone and by e-mail and extends himself to provide excellent service. Connie works the business office part of the company and is always friendly, helpful, and accomodating. It is a pleasure to recommend Tekshop of North Carolina highly, knowing you too will receive excellent customer care.

Description of Work: Jim set up our new computer, installed the programs that we needed, and transferred our data from the old computer to our new one.

+ 0 moreI would not want anyone else to work on or build our system. Prompt, reliable, friendly. Available for emergencies. This company has been our IT provider since our business opened in 1996.
Description of Work: What haven't they done for us would be a better question!! Best IT folks and tech support out there. Our communication and assistance they provide is ongoing on an as needed basis. They also provide off site backup and storage for a monthly fee.

Description of Work: I needed a new computer for my home so I contacted Tekshop and after talking with Jim, I purchased a new computer from them. About the same time I purchased this computer, I also needed a new laptop which I also purchased from Tekshop.
