Eastern Glass

I spoke with both Brian and Lisa about 3 or 4 times each. They said they would need to special order these strips which would require a deposit which I was fine with. I gave them my credit card information for the deposit and so they could order the strips and to schedule the service for this coming friday Nov. 7th. There seemed to be a lack of communication between Brian and Lisa as they would both call me for the same information. Then after I had put the order in for the strips and set the appointment date Lisa called me back to let me know that when they come out to install the replacement if they accidentally damage the existing large mirror they would not be responsible. I found this strange and Brian had told me they had not ordered these kinds of strips in a while. So I asked Lisa what was the incentive then for the technician who would be coming out to take his time and do a good job on if I am responsible for any accidental damage. Lisa then got a bit of an attitude with me stating "I do not know what you are not comprehending". After some more back and forth with her she finally said I think you should just find someone else for this job and hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to Brian and Lisa said I could not. Again we went back and forth and she was still very rude and unwilling to try to work with me to keep my business which I found very surprising from a business owner. I would not recommend them.

Brian and Lisa from Eastern Glass were great to work with. When I first contacted Brian and explained what I wanted done, he asked me if I could take a photo on my smart phone along with some measurements and send it to him. He was able to give me a rough estimate. I appreciated that since my time to wait at home for an appt was limited. When I decided to move forward with the project, Brain gave me many references that I checked out, both residential customers and businesses, that have used his services and everyone gave him glowing reports. He came to the house and dismantled the old shower, measured the enclosure, and gave me websites for the hardware to pick out. The glass was custom cut. It took about two weeks for them to get the glass, make sure it was cut correctly and then they came to install. They did an amazing job. The attention to detail was great. I would highly recommend them.

All went well. The young lady (Lisa?) I talked to many times over the phone scheduling and getting estimates was very pleasant. She was very clear informing me of all my options. The installers smelled of cigarettes so much, and while my window was removed they were smoking just outside and left cig odor in my house a few hours...I could have done without that. Other than that, it was a good experience.

They responded to our call right away, sent someone out to measure and gave us an estimate on the spot. A week later, the glass arrived and they came right out and did the replacement. Very smooth process, start to finish.

This place is such a rip off, you cannot imagine. I had a small piece of glass that was 4 feet by a foot wide that I needed replaced and that was in addition to a big shower door job that I was estimating. He came back with an estimate of $500 more, so it was an estimate of $2500-$3000. I eventually used another company for this work. They also told me that the glass I wanted was simply not available, but the company I ended up using could find the glass we wanted. I would not recommend them to others.

Great customer service, punctual and efficient.

Although they were a bit delayed in getting the glass installed (because their first cut broke the glass) they communicated well and completed the job according to our specifications. They also replaced a smaller window pane next to the larger pane, and came in at the same total price they bid originally.

We needed to replace a window due to an inspection requirement. We were under tight time restraints and Eastern Glass was able to squeeze us in two days and measure our window and order it. As soon as the window came in they were at the house installing it. We also needed proof that we paid for the window and when it would be installed. They were able to provide all of this. They did a great job.

THEY WERE FANTASTIC AND I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN. THEY WERE DONE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE DONE AND WERE THERE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE. THEY WERE EVERYTHING THAT YOU WOULD WANT SOMEONE TO BE, POLITE, COURTEOUS, ETC.

They did a great job and we were very pleased.

CRAFTSMANSHIP AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL WAS IMPRESSIVE. THE CREW TOOK THE NECESSARY TIME TO DO THE JOB RIGHT. THEY ALSO PAID ATTENTION TO CLEAN-UP WHEN EACH DAY'S WORK WAS COMPLETE - THIS WAS MUCH APPRECIATED. WHEN WE NOTICED A SMALL ISSUE, THE CREW CHIEF MADE CERTAIN THAT THE OVERSIGHT WAS CORRECTED AND WE WERE HAPPY WITH THE END RESULT. JOB WELL DONE EASTERN. THANKS BRIAN, LISA AND CREW MEMBERS.

THOUGH A MINOR JOB, EASTERN WAS GREAT. THEY WERE PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY CALLED BEFORE THEY CAME OUT SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT AROUND ALL DAY WONDERING WHEN THEY WOULD ARRIVE. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM IN THE FUTURE.

OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS DIDN'T TAKE THE TIME TO RESEARCH MY NEEDS. THEY TOOK THE TIME, ORDERED THE PART FOR ME AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE ON TIME AND I WOULD GO BACK TO THEM NO PROBLEM. THEY WENT THE EXTRA MILE FOR ME.

ALL WHO WORK AT EASTERN DO GREAT WORK. THE TABLE TOP HAD A CIRCULAR HOLE CUT FOR THE UMBRELLA. THE TABLE ARRIVED AT MY HOME WITH A CHIP IN THE HOLE. EASTERN GLASS SAYS THAT THE TABLE ARRIVED IN PERFECT CONDITION. I TOLD THEM OF THE CHIP IN THE HOLE. EASTERN REFUSES TO DO ANY WORK TO SMOOTH THE CHIP. I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.

THE WORK WAS COMPLETED PROMPTLY, EFFICIENTLY AND IN A VERY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. WE WERE MOST IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE WORK. THEY ARRIVED PUNCTUALLY AND WORKED QUICKLY. OUR PATIO DOORS LOOK BRAND NEW. WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR SERVICE AND WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.

MEASURED WINDOW TOO LARGE. FORGOT MOLDING ON FRIDAY. CAME BACK ON MONDAY BUT FORGOT NAILS. STILL HAVENT RECEIVED MOLDING.
