They installed the units in my newly constructed home in 2018. We have had issues with the upstairs unit since the first week of moving in. The unit has been repaired, replaced, and modified. Even with all of this, if it gets more than 85 degrees outside then my upstairs will get no cooler than 77 degrees. Caryl Mechanical and the builders(D.R. Horton) have stated that this is normal and that they will do nothing else to fix it. I have pointed out to them that the downstairs unit will keep that area at 74 to 72 degrees even when it is 95 to 100 degrees outside. They will not respond to this statement. They also put in a damaged ductwork components during the initial install. This was not discovered intil years after moving in when we noticed one of the interior walls was extremely hot while the heating unit was on. After the sent someone out to knock a hole in the wall they found that the technician that did the install used a "Y" that wa completely bent.

I don't know how any company can be any worse than this one. I would never have hired them in the first place after I read the reviews online but it's a repair under warranty and they are the only HVAC company my builder provides and I thought I'd just give them a chance. After they canceled the first appointment, it was followed by three no-show-no-call ones. When I contacted them later, the customer service lady promised to call me back and reschedule but she never did. I also emailed their service manager and got no response. They are a joke. I'd give them an H rating if there were one.

It was on a maintenance contract. They did a great job on the installation of our whole HVAC system and a terrific service as well.

It went well, very professional and courteous service, unfortunately the first technician forgot to switch the panel on before he lef, clearly an honest mistake. So when I called them back the next day, They sent out Mr Jamie to correct the situation, and even though it was a Saturday late evening, he came out and fixed the problem within a few minutes and at no extra charge. So great service and great attitude of both technicians.

Right after New Year's, the GFI breaker in my master bathroom tripped and could not be reset. I was able to get an appointment the next day. The electrician even called to say he was running early and would I like him to come earlier in the day. This was much appreciated and he arrived promptly at the agreed-upon time. It took a while to diagnose the problem, because it turned out that a different breaker in a spare bathroom was the culprit. He as good-humored about having to go up and down the stairs and outside multiple times to test the breaker. He answered my questions, fixed the bad breaker and left both areas neat and clean. I appreciated the courteous and efficient service.

I HAD TO CALL THE COMPANY 10 TIMES AS WELL AS THE HOME OWNERS WARRANTY. THE HOME OWNERS WARRANTY CALLED ON MY BEHALF AND GOT THE SAME RUNAROUND SO THEY SENT ME TO ANOTHER ELECTRICIAN ON THEIR OWN DIME TO FINISH THE JOB.
