Description of Work: Exterior paint and deck stain. They went above and beyond and did a fantastic job. They are hard workers, polite and keep everything neat and clean. We're having out kitchen remodeled and came in on short notice and primed and painting the ceiling and misc. things for me. They will be painting out interior in a few weeks too. I highly recommend Savage Painting!

Description of Work: I hired Shawn Savage, owner of Savage drywall and painting, having just moved to the area I depended on Angies List. He seemed professional at first meeting and I hired him over another company with a slightly less quote, because he assured me he could do both, the taking out of a closet wall to open up the entry area, and paint the entire small condo. | |He showed up promptly with a lovely female painter, and began demolishing the wall as she did painting. All seemed OK at first. However, the wall project concerned me, he was to remove a partial wall and install a header and then do the sheetrock and finish work, then paint. He was very demanding about getting paid each day - which would have been OK, except he wanted full payment on the third day, and the job was not complete. He was rude and demanding..but I paid him and he was to return the next day to finish. He didn't | |The wall was bumpy and uneven, a very VERY poor sheetrock job, and when I inspected the paint job more closely it needed touch up in many areas. Trying to send emails to him became frustrating as his wife kept being very sarcastic and cheeky, and annoying. Couldn't this man deal with his own business, not have his wife defending his poor workmanship when she wasn't on the job ! In the end I stopped payment on the last â…“ check, and told them I would have someone else repair their bad job and send them whatever was left over aftr payment was made. Shawn showed up, as I asked him to, to look at his work, and tell me what he thought, He admitted it was all wrong, the wall looked terrible, and I questioned if the header was even supported, as the wall was hollow where an upright should have been placed for support....he did offer to redo it, but honestly who would have someone who did such an inferior job, have them do it again ! His wife continued to insult me and email me, tout her religious beliefs, REALLY!? NEVER would I recommend this company due to terrible workmanship, and worse a total lack of professional conduct. I have to have someone do it again...

Description of Work: He pressure washed deck and front retaining wall. Came back a 3rd time to perfect work. Also removed popcorn ceiling, patched and repainted. Crew was on time each day, efficient and finished timely. Did a good job.

Description of Work: Competitors was $1500. Removed all deck furniture and plants covered shrubs cleaned power washed deck, Provided color samples. Painted deck, Repaired and replaced decking as needed. Returned to replace deck furniture.

Description of Work: Remove popcorn ceiling in small-to-mid-size bathroom, prepare bare ceiling for paint, painted two coats of good quality ceilling white paint.

Description of Work: They removed our ugly popcorn celings, made them nice & smooth and painted them, great job!!!!

Description of Work: They pressure washed the deck, house, and concrete, and then stained the deck.
