ANGELL PAVING

I worked with Scott Angell and originally requested for a quote to replace my asphalt driveway but Scott adamantly recommended that I repair and resurface it instead. Scott was insistent that was all that was necessary and that it would last at least another 3-4 years after doing so. He actually told me that it would be foolish to replace the driveway. As such, I ultimately agreed to the repair instead of replacement. Scott and his assistant were a couple of weeks tardy in performing the work versus the agreed upon time but that was not big deal to me as I was not in any major rush per se. The repair job looked good (not great) directly upon completion of the job, however, it began to deteriorate rapidly thereafter and in less than 3 months the cracks that were supposedly repaired re-emerged. I called Scott about the problems and he told me that I approved it upon completion and that he was not responsible for any further repairs. After much ado, he finally agreed to come and take a look at the driveway but never did. I called him a second time and was told that he was too busy to deal with the matter presently but that he would get back to me in a couple of weeks when he completed his current work. Once again, Scott never got back in touch with me. So, I called him a third time but to no avail even when I offered to pay for the repairs (to the repairs). He never responded to my subsequent voice mail message to him Less than year later, my driveway looks as bad as did last year before it was repaired. I basically threw away $800 and would NEVER use Angell Paving again. Very disappointing experience to say the least. I suppose the silver lining is that it could have been a much more expensive lesson had I replaced the driveway instead of resurfacing it using Angell Paving. My advice is to stay away from them!
