Description of Work: I had a cast iron stove and the bottom leg portion cracked. I called Kevin and he was honest and told me how hard it is to weld cast iron and that any stress on the repaired piece could cause it to crack again. His honesty and expertise allowed me to make a decision to not repair the stove for fear it might be money wasted. The stove is extremely heavy and I need the peace of mind that the legs can indeed support it, and the possibility they might not after a repair is not worth the risk. Appreciated the integrity Kevin.

+ -1 moreI got a callback within a few minutes to schedule a time. I was expecting to have to wait days for an appointment, but Hunter arrived about an hour later, as agreed. He proceeded to figure out how to repair the frame, told me what it would take, and proceeded to do it. He was easygoing and very professional, and the repair seems to be strong.
Description of Work: The frame of my Husqvarna riding mower broke apart, such that the front and back halves were connected only by the fiberglass shell. Hunter pulled the 2 halves together and welded plates between the 2 parts of the frame.

+ -1 morePricing was good, but we would have had to wait until the welding equipment was changed for stainless steel. It wouldn't have been a problem, but we got the grill cleaned which caused the damange and were moving and I did not have enough time to wait. Had I stayed in the area, I would have had the welding done by A-1.
