Description of Work: Joe, and his two man crew, provided demolition and re-framing on an old house in Asheville. We can cannot say enough good things about our experience.

Description of Work: Water from a leaking roof had damaged the framing around a door to the outside. Joe assessed the damage to the sturcture, gave me three alternative, perfomred the work and cleaned up. He and his son willingly explained each step in the repairs. He removed the top plate over the door, removed the bottom foot of the six studs, removed 6 inches of lower plate, replaced the top plate, replaced the lower plate and installed a stacked plate to fill the space from the studs. He examined the outside of the door and adjoining siding, giving me recommendations for future repairs.

+ 2 moreJoe first installed windows, window sills, kitchen cabinets and other woodwork in our kitchen, which had been and quot;guttedand quot; back to the beams as a result of having been smashed when a massive tree fell on our house. In addition to installing the cabinets that I had picked out, he worked hard to maintain the and quot;integrityand quot; of our 100+-year-old home by choosing baseboards, door frames, etc. that matched -- as closely as possible-- the original woodwork. When our side sunporch and utility room had to be totally rebuilt , having been crushed by the tree, he again did his best to recreate what we had before the accident. In fact, the replacement woodwork was, at times, of an even higher quality than the original. This is saying something, since our house was originally very well built. Joe also replaced a window, woodwork and cabinets in our downstairs bathroom . Again, his work was done with care, courtesy and attention to detail. I can recommend Joe without reservations!!
Description of Work: Because the work Joe did for us was paid for by our insurance policy -- after a tree fell on our house -- I do not know how much he charged for his work. However, I feel sure that his rates were reasonable. The work that he did included replacement of doorframes, window sills and shelves as well as installation of both kitchen and bathroom cabinets. His work was high-quality, and he made every attempt to follow our wishes in completing that work.

Description of Work: we had a house fire. and joe palisoc was brought in by our restoration company to do the demo and rebuilld. he was outstanding and i can't say enough good things about him.
