Description of Work: Quote given for digging out old sewer line and installing clean out, flush line, inspect. The quote was more than I could afford so I dug out the line myself and installed the clean out myself. I replaced all the dirt myself. He flushed line and camera inspected. The price quoted for digging and installation was $600 and then the remaining was for flush out and camera. I was expecting to save $600 since I did all the hard manual labor myself. The price was almost the same. | |I later had to have a different line done and called a different company (a very well respected one). That company about fainted when I told them the price for the other line. I was told by that company that they could have replaced the entire line for close to that price. | |I won't be using All About Plumbing again. However, they were extremely professional and he was more than willing to answer random questions I had via text. If you have the extra money to have clean cut guys dressed in khakis and a nice shirt show up to your house, use them. If you need great work at a more affordable price, look elsewhere.

Thank you for taking the time to review our service. I am very sorry that you feel that we are a little higher than the other company. I can assure you that $1,500 would not buy the appropriate materials to replace your entire sewer line and do the work according to NC plumbing code. The materials we use are all heavy duty and last the test of time and we pull plumbing permits as required for any licensed plumbing company to do. That is why we offer longer warranties than any other company in our area. I did review your proposal and invoice and it does seem that you were charged $625.72 for a 2 way clean out, a hydro jet trailer drain cleaning machine and a video camera inspection. We did find and diagnose the issue at this point with the video camera, which most companies don't have. Your sewer line is in need of being replaced/ repair. There is severe misalignment's in your sewer line that will cause future issues. I have checked your prices and they are offered at an extreme discount and much lower than originally quoted. I know that our pricing is much lower than all the professional plumbing service companies in the area. I am very sorry that your experience with us wasn't the best, but I hope you give us the opportunity to make you life long customer with us. You will not be disappointed with our work. I do know that we are only of the last companies to offer completely free estimates and we do extend that out to all of our customers. As a company we do hold ourselves to a hiring standard then the septic laws. That professional quality can reflect in our pricing, but I do know that we are still lower than most of our competitors. NC Septic code does allow for duct tape to be used to join two pipes together. This is an example of a code that we exceed because duct tape does not last very long underground. I did personally review your estimate and I feel that the price was right for the septic, plumbing and finish grading/ lawn work that was going to be done. Thank you for taking the time to review Richard's service. A drain clog can be a large mess at times. No one knows the condition of the buried drain lines for their home until there is an issue. That is why with every drain cleaning we will camera the drain line for no additional charge so we can inspect the condition of the drain lines. The last thing we want is to clean a drain line and within a month that drain line is clogged again. Drain blockages are usually caused by external factors and that is why the video camera inspection is necessary to make sure your issue is resolved the first time. We really appreciate your business!!

Description of Work: This is the third time in the last 6 months I have had a technician from All About Plumbing come to my home. This time the problem was unrelated to the previous visits. The specific problem was with my GE Dishwasher. It was filling with water. The technician (like the technician who came for the earlier visits) was extremely courteous and professional. He thoroughly checked out the problem and eliminated the possibility of a problem with the water lines to the dishwasher or the drain line from the dishwasher. He also checked out the dishwasher cycle to ensure that the pump was properly working to drain the dishwasher. Essentially, the problem was internal to the dishwasher itself, most likely the internal valve that tells the dishwasher to fill. Because he wasn't a certified to work on GE brand dishwashers, the technician recommended we contact a GE authorized maintenance person. Since he didn't repair anything, we were not charged for the visit!! I will definitely call All About Plumbing for any future plumbing problems and will not hesitate to strongly recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Description of Work: They replaced a short section of pvc pipe that had ruptured with a peice of pex tubing. I orginally thought the price was a little high, but when testing his work he discovered that the pressure switch was bad (which led to the ruptured pipe). He went to lowes to get the part just before they were closing and came back and replaced the switch. That committment to his customer is what made me a satisfied customer overall.

That is why we only employ the best and most professional plumbers in our area. Our job is protect our homeowners and if he didn't look for the cause of the leak you would have had another leak to deal with. I know when Evan arrived and noticed that the Pex tubing was ruptured his first thought had to be that there was a defect or an external factor to this leak. That is what prompted him to look into this matter more. By not charging by the hour and only charging for work that has been completely, we have the time to looking into issues like this without costing the customer extra money. We aren't always the cheapest plumbing company around but we are the cheapest plumbing company that does things right the first time. This is so we can ensure that the drain line has been cleaned properly and it also allows us to inspect the condition of the drain line. This is extremely important to know. Drain line blockages are generally caused by an issue in the drain piping. If we can visually see these issues we can offer the best possible repairs to get your drain line back to great working condition.
