This company really came through for me when I was in a pinch. The 15 year-old electric Ruud water heater in my garage was leaking and needed changing out. I did some online research and decided on the exact replacement model (a 40gal Rheem). The problem was I couldn’t find any installer who could meet my tight schedule. At that time, I was taking care of my elderly parents at their home during the daytime so my schedule was not very flexible. After unsuccessfully trying to schedule the installation through one of the big home maintenance stores, I found Drain Pro’s on Angie’s List and contacted them. I told them the info for the new heater and we agreed on an install time (9:30AM on 2/12/2015). On the agreed to date/time, they showed up exactly on time with the new water heater. After removing the old heater, they installed the new heater along with a new “expansion tank” (see picture). Within 2 hours after their arrival everything was installed and working. I am extremely satisfied with the installation and would recommend them to anyone needing an electric water heater installed. I give them the highest ratings for everything (price, punctuality, etc.).

These guys are AMAZING! Hard working, funny, professional and good people! I called Brad at 1030 pm and he had someone to our house within the hour! Sammy and Adam stayed at our house for a long time trying to fix our issue! They had to come back the next morning to complete the task! Brad accompanied Sammy on the return trip! It took them HOURS to fix a very bad stoppage that apparently had been in the making for quite a long time! However they didn’t give up and these guys worked VERY HARD to complete this job! We were very impressed by them and very appreciative of them! We would definitely recommend them to any and everyone! We will for sure be using them again! Again thank you guys for your hard work! Drain Pro's Fixed our problem and completely overcharged us, not even two days later had issues and Brad (the CEO) answered and hung up and kept ignoring my calls and not returning my voicemails and even blocked my number as well as my husbands, yet I have a warranty on this for a year. He will be taken to court. I am not the first person he has done this too and will not be the last.

The job before ours was quite long and we were called with updates as to when arrival time would be.

It didn't! They completely bailed on me! They were awesome and punctual coming out to provide an estimate and the price was reasonable for the work to be performed. We e-mailed the specifics once I knew the delivery date of my cabinetry. They confirmed they would be there the day after the delivery date (which was a month away) to do the demo and install in the same day. As the day approached, I didn't hear anything from them. I called the day before the appointment and left a message confirming our appointment and that the cabinetry had arrived and requested a call back with what time they would arrive. No call back. I texted on the day of our appointment. No response. I sent an e-mail the next day. Nothing. Now I am stuck in a 450 sq ft condo with all of my kitchen cabinetry boxes taking up the whole space and left to find another contractor to do the job at the last minute right before the holidays. Not cool guys, not cool.

Brad responded to my request the same day I called and set up an appointment for the next day. Brad and his helper showed up 15 min. early to assess the problem. Once the assessment was conducted they began to work promptly to fix the waste line joint. While they were fixing the joint problem, Brad recommended that I apply a layer of lime to the ground to counter act any problems I may encounter with the standing waste water. Once the joint was fixed, Brad and his helper applied the lime for me. Brad and his helper were very thorough, professional, and polite. His prices are extremely fair. I will definitely use them for future projects and will not hesitate to refer them to others. It was extremely refreshing to find a young professional with manners and integrity. BRAVO Brad!!!

Very disappointed in the quality of the work. A 220 volt line was run and left exposed and draped over a piece of OSB. We have had to have an electrician in to redo the wiring because of this and the fact the connection was made to a circuit that also had outlets and a dishwasher on it. Water heaters should have a dedicated 30 amp circuit. This appears to have caused a problem with our dishwasher as well as the water heater. The water line that was run has too many plastic connections. The water line was left exposed in the workshop a when it could have been run with other lines through a boxed in area 1 foot away. The job was rushed and not done in a professional manner at all. Every short cut that could be taken was. Cleanup was non existent with pieces of ceiling and trim in the shop area left where they fell. Scrap pipe, wire, boxes and tools were left. While others may have been pleased, our experience was a very negative one. Unfortunately, it appears almost all the work must be done again and we now may need a new dishwasher! We also had a similar experience as did another reviewer, but ours was via telephone not text messages. Good luck!

since then I have found more water under my sink, maybe the trap. I have phoned three times and been given new appointments each time, but no one has ever showed up or called to explain why they weren't coming. I am so very sorry this has occurred because we were extremely pleased until this occurred

All went very well, a water heater installed that has reduced water consumption, pipes for washer installed done quickly Very happy.

This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. The customer service alone was appalling and Brad Cooke canceled on my job after the appointed time he was supposed to come out. He was rude and refused to help me, even though I was stuck at home with my baby, with the water turned off. Trust me when I say-run far away from this company!

I originally hired Drain Pro's to deal with a leaky toilet. They first replaced a broken fill valve. That did not take care of the problem. Brad and his crew were very quick to return and determined the entire tank needed to be replaced. This was done promptly and now, no more leaks! I was impressed by Brad's responsiveness and professionalism and hired him to insulate all my pipes and repair a leaky shower drain. I was very grateful for the discount he offered me as an Angie's List member. Brad always returned my phone calls and was patient in explaining to me (a plumbing novice) what he had done and why it needed to be done. I will not hesitate to hire him and his company again in the future.

Brad was very polite and knew what he was doing. He also had another worker with him who was polite. I recommend him to others.

Everything went great! Workers were professional, friendly and efficient. They cleaned up when they were finished. The project took a day and a half to complete. Moving the washer and dryer out of my kitchen to the upstairs bonus room has created so much more space in the kitchen while also using spare space in the bonus room. This was the first of many projects we have planned for our house and we will definitely hire this company again.

I was suspicious of the water heater at my condo. Unable to drain off water and thought it might have a lot of sediment. Found Brad on Angie's List and gave him a call. He arrived on time, and looked at the water heater and thought that an expansion tank and cleaning might correct my problem. We are rarely there, so he came back and attempted to flush the heater, but it was filled with sediment and unable to drain. He immediately called me and we agreed to do a new water heater. That has been completed.

He showed up on time and was very thorough. We will be using him again in the future on a bathroom rehab! We highly recommend him as he was very professional and most importantly FRIENDLY, which is hard to come by in these parts. Veteran owned and operated I might add as well.

Went great. Works showed up that and completed repairs as schedule, despite the fact that it snowed a good part of the day. Yes, thats right. Snow in Swansboro.

Drain Pros showed up on time when I was ready for them they worked hard installing new waste and water lines, and all new fixtures. Very polite and courtesy I will def use them for future projects and refer to others.

While he did respond very quickly on a Saturday within the hour, once he got here he seemed to be a bit rushed. He pulled out my old hose bib in which I saw a crack that he did not see. He then proceed to use his phone light to try and look into the cavity. I could tell he could not see anything so I went to get him my personal surefire flashlight. He put on a temporary hose bib out side because he needed to find a 4 inch hose bib from his supplier. He called me Monday and said do to the new laws nobody sales a 4 inch hose bib anymore and that they only sale 6 inch hose bib's.He assured me that the temporary hose bib would be just fine. I agreed since he is a plumber and I am not. Once I got home to check on the work I noticed he put the plastic covers backwards which I will have to fix. He was very nice, courteous, and professional but I think it did not show in his workmanship. Update: After this review the individual that did my work text me and this is the following word for word. Drain Pros: Thanks for the Shi$$y review Me: Hey I man I expected something more from what Angie's list had you. I was out there fixing all your backward work. One of the screws you put back in was not even in the wood. Drain Pros: Don't be a p****! I charged you the bare min! If you weren't happy then you shouldn't have been sucking my d#$k Be a man and let me know we did wrong via telephone call!! Don't smash through In line. Have a good day! became way more involved than we or they suspected in the beginning, but it is a 60 year old house. had to replace all the old brittle pvc under the sink and the very old cast iron pipe under the house. took about 4 hours. we put in the job online sunday and brad gave me a call that afternoon and came out to check on the job that evening. he would have started sunday but I told him Monday would be fine. I will definitely use them again.

Leak was coming from faucet. Brad fixed the problem within minutes.

My water heater began leaking from bottom call Drain Pros and they came and changed out same day. They did a good job cleaning up and were kind and courtesy.

Best customer service I have seen from a contractor in many many years. Brad responded to my request the same day, he came and gave an estimate and began work promptly. His prices are extremely fair, his work and his peolple very polite and professional. Brad even checked back to see if the water pressure was acceptable. I will be using this company for as many other projects as I can. They will be building me a porch cover in the next couple of weeks. I can't wait. I am generating my work list for them. Bottom line: On time, fair, professional and customer service above expectations.
