STI Turf Care Equipment - Charlotte East

Started off poorly! The guys at the front desk took my mower without providing any documents to say the mower was mine and in their possession. They told me they were too backed up and it would be about a 5 hour wait to get my ticket. I waited a solid week and ask BJ (or rather) to fax me the documents. He "took" my fax number and said he would send it out shortly. From his tone and nonchalant responses I knew he was patronizing me and I would never see the fax. Guess what? I never received anything from STI. Now I have no way of proving ownership of the mower! After the 3 week mark, I started calling the store every few days. Each time there was areas on for the delay. On one conversation I asked another employee to call me to let me know when the repair was completed. NEVER GOT A CALL! I had to call them on the 30th day to find out the mower was done and waiting for me. Take your business elsewhere if you don't want to be peed on and have them tell you it is raining.

I've purchased 2 pieces of equipment from them and have been happy with my experiences.

I didn't expect it because they were into the takeover of the business. They covered the work at another of their locations.

I used Turf Care when I was groundskeeper with the U.S.Postal Service at the (Airport) Yorkmont Station,Charlotte,N.C.location. Their service and timeliness was always exceptional. I called STI needing some tines and other parts for my aeravator. They had most of the parts in stock which I received the next day and this was enough to keep us going during the very busy aerating and over seeding season.

They do a great job helping educate you about the equipment you are looking at and helping you pick what is right for you. I only give them a "B" on price because you get what you pay for so they are a little more expensive than what you might find at a big box. However, the quality is also better.

I had a couple items repaired. One item had to go back and they fixed it with no questions asked. I’ve always gone to them.

It was very good. They guy told me when I inquired about a Mantis with an assisted start that they could put it on there and they provided good service. The price was mainly the price of the part. They had trouble getting the part because the Tiller was old. The first one didn’t work, but they were able to find one that worked.

Everything worked out pretty well. The parts arrived on time and the price was good. It was better than buying through the internet.

They do good work. I’ve had never had to take anything back. You get what you pay for, good service.

It was ok. They did some of the work I requested, but they were not designated service providers for the brand of my mower. So, there were some things they couldn’t get completed. But what they did do was done well.

Overall, I was very pleased with the service and pick up and deliverery. At first I thought the mower was a lost cause. Turf Care re-did the entire mower and it looks and runs like a new one. I thought the price was a little much until I saw it and used it, the money was well worth it, a lot cheaper than a new one and it looks and runs like a new one. I am very happy with it and their service.

MADE SEVERAL REPAIRS INCLUDING REPAIRS THAT REQUIRED ORDERING OF PARTS FROM THE MANUFACTURER. RETURNED THE MOWER IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. (CLEANED UP). DELIVERY AND SERVICE EMPLOYEES WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND INFORMATIVE.

HAVE USED FOR THE LAST FOUR YEARS, AND HAVE BEEN CONSISTENTLY PLEASED WITH THE WORK AND THE PEOPLE. THE CLOSEST AUTHORIZED JOHN DEERE DEALER IS FAR AWAY, SO THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN A GREAT HELP.
