They don't spread, so I didn't hire them.

I called Metrolina Mulch to check prices on colored mulch. They are located very close to me geographically but I always assumed they were priced much higher than the competition. Pam answered the phone; she was helpful and extremely responsive. I had already checked prices from two other vendors and found their price per cubic yard to be the same or less. I purchased at that moment and they actually had the product delivered the same day! When I got home, I found the mulch had been dropped neatly, right where I requested. The product was excellent. The service was unbelievable. And the price was comparable. I'll never use anybody else!

Very nice people. Website is great. If you do your homework first, you will know what type of mulch and how much mulch you need. They treat you like family. The product is just what they advertise, good quality. It was delivered on time and placed in the exact spot requested. A good company to do business with!

Called on a Friday and had 15 yards delivered the next morning. The delivery occurred right on time and the mulch was just what I wanted. I will definitely use them again.

We worked with Pam and Jennifer and had most of our communications via email. Quick responses and easy to work with. They delivered the mulch as scheduled and it looked great. The driver was excellent, dumping the load in a spot that was hard for him maneuver into, but the best, centrally located spot for us. Price was a little high, but I will use them again. Some of the best looking mulch we have received and great service.

We ordered 14 cu. yards of the brown walnut died mulch and it is gorgeous! We contacted Pam,placed our order, and scheduled delivery for Thursday morning at 8 a.m. Greg arrived with the delivery right at 8 a.m. just as scheduled. One of the wonderful things about Metrolina Mulch is that they have single axle trucks that are light enough that it is safe for them to go up residential driveways. We have a very steep drive way but Greg was able to back right up the driveway and dump the mulch exactly where we needed it. He was very helpful and got us up and running very quickly. The mulch is beautiful in color and texture and looks much richer than any we had seen elsewhere. All in all it was a wonderful and easy experience. Phil, Pam, and Greg were a pleasure to deal with and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Their service, quality, and pricing are outstanding and can't be beat. They are the ones we will go to from now on to meet our landscaping material needs. We highly recommend them!

The folks who run this company really care about their customers and understand customer service. My original contact was via a late evening email and the response was early the next morning. I then called and was treated as if there was no one more important than me and my questions about mulch. I needed delivery at a specific time and my needs were accommodated. They were a little late but because of the phone call I received from them I was made aware of the delay. These are indeed nice people willing to go the extra mile to please their customers.

They have multiple assortment of different mulches on their website. They actually have a website where you calculate how much you think you need before you order it. They're very easy to work with and very pleasant. They'll tell you everything on the phone. They'll tell you when they're getting ready to load the material.

I was looking strictly for a company to just deliver the mulch and was not seeking any help spreading it. Based on reviews on Angies List I came up with my top 3 prospects and solicited quotes from Metrolina Mulch and 2 other companies via e-mail. Pamela responded to my request on the same day with all the information I'd requested including an itemized quote. Metrolina Mulch came back with the lowest quote ($10 lower than one, $100 lower than the other) though they did advised that they'd pro-actively given me 1/2 price delivery so they would've been in the middle of the price range had they not done so. We scheduled the delivery for the following week and they accommodated my request to deliver it without me having to be there, their only requirement was that I provide my credit card to them prior to the delivery. The mulch was delivered as requested and in the location I'd requested. I have no opinion to the quality - mulch is mulch to my eye and it was in line with what I've always gotten in the past - though I can confirm that it was "clean" mulch with no foreign debris present. All in all I am fully satisfied and will definitely seek a quote from them the next time I'm in the market for bulk mulch.

It was a fantastic experience from the very beginning. They were the most responsive in getting back to me when I sent email requests for pricing quotes. Gary and Pam and I emailed back and forth a couple of times. I decided to go with this company based first of all on price, but honestly, they went above and beyond in order to get my business, and I felt that they deserved it. They were very very nice people and I appreciate their customer service. Specifically, Pam had her son drive out to my home and dropped off several samples of different mulches to help me to decide which one to choose. Also, they gave me the best mulch for the money. Additionally, Pam was able to use Google Earth satellite images of my yard (yea for technology!) to help me determine how much mulch that I needed to cover my natural areas in my yard. Finally, when delivering the mulch, the dump truck driver was very patient with me when I underestimated how large of a tarp I was going to need to protect my driveway from mulch stains. He unloaded the mulch with great precision- he was very skilled at dumping all of that mulch in precisely the right location. The quality of the mulch was very very good, with no construction trash in it as is found from time to time with other vendors. All in all, I could not have been more pleased and would give Metrolina Mulch my very highest recommendation. I understand that Pam's husband has been called up to active duty in the military, and so I would love for others to support them and their company. Thank you Pam, and everyone else at Metrolina Mulch for a great experience! I will definitely call you again the next time that I need mulch!!

They are good people. Very nice people.

I was very impressed! the office staff was very friendly and helpful. They arranged for our soil and mulch to be put on the same truck so we wouldn't have to pay the delivery fee twice. They were able to schedule a time for delivery two days later, the driver was 15 min early and very accomodating. He went out of his way to back the truck into the yard to dump the mulch closer to where it would be used.

It couldn't have been easier. They were responsive, and the driver went out of his way to back the truck on a diagonal into our yard before dumping the mulch so as not to block our driveway.

They are very responsive and they came on time. We went there and saw the different types of mulches they had and the different kinds of shredding operations. I am impressed with their work and I have recommended them to others.
