Very prompt and professional. Done excellent work and no mess left behind. Very good pricing and owner is a honest good man. Highly recommend

cut down trees along driveway supposedly to get truck up the drive. No other provider ever had to trim trees.

Service provider was great, explained everything he found and why it needed to be replaced. He waited for our approval to do any of the work, and was upfront about costs. When we need our septic tank serviced again for regular maintenance, we would definitely use his company again.

Very prompt with scheduling service. Arrived in his sparkling clean truck, very professional and informative. Took about 30 minutes total to set up, pump out a very full tank, and clean up. Would recommend his service to anyone!

Service was great! We had to reschedule a coupe of time due to unforseen circumstances on both our parts, but he took the initiative to contact me and reschedule the visit. They were on time, very efficient, very respectful of my yard, and gave me good advice for future maintenance.

The folks at Rowland are efficient, knowledgeable, professional, and ethical! They came when they said they would, and resolved the problem quickly and completely. My husband said they also gave us advice on how to avoid the problem again. They charged a fair price. They left the area they worked in in good clean condition. Recommend them to anyone with septic problem woes. We had another contractor come out to address the same problem on 3 separate occasions, and they only drained 1 side of the tank, did not do anything about the clog, and either didn't know (idiots) or didn't tell us (negligent) that there was a 2nd side of the tank that should also be drained. This resulted in the recurrence of the problem within weeks each time they came, and by the way charged us the same thing as Rowland, who only came once and took care of EVERYTHING.

He was recommended highly by a local plumber. We had our septic tank drained 3 times in 6 months by ANOTHER local septic service company, and I suspected that we were being ripped off. DUH!!!! When I told the helpful plumber, Mr. Rooter of South Church Street in Burlington, NC, about it, he said that the other folks were probably only draining one side of the tank and that there was likely a clogged filter. When I asked why the other folks hadn't checked on this possibility given the history, he replied that they were "taking your money." My husband got in touch with Mr. Rowland in a timely manner. They set up a time to meet, and Mr. Rowland actually was there early, waiting when my husband got home from work. The work was completed in a timely manner. Mr. Rowland was professional, pleasant, and efficient. I will definitely call Mr. Rowland again when the time comes, but I am trusting that it will not be in the next few months! I also plan to call Mr. Rooter back to install a new outdoor spigot for me in the very near future, as his advice was solid.

With wet spots in the backyard, I made an appointment ASAP...*the* first available couldn't even take an address (maybe the TV blaring in the background?), so I went with Rowland a day later, who actually seemed quite knowledgeable and professional on the phone. He indicated that he'd call me the day before with an exact time and I mentioned it needed to be 8:30a or after, as I had a kid drop-off. He calls me and leaves a message..."see you at 8a." I call him back and remind him of my availability restriction. He harumphs and says, "tell me when to be there." I split the difference and tell him 8:15a, with the promise/disclaimer that I'll have to really hurry to get there then. So, this morning I drive home like a maniac and pull in at 8:20a. He takes one look at the backyard and says, ?I?m not interested. Thanks for wasting my time.? Excuse me? Apparently he was upset that I didn?t tell him manual digging would be required (ie: no Bobcat access, which he brought). Never even occurred to me to mention, as everyone else who has been out in the past did it without comment (or Bobcat). He walks up the drive, absolutely ranting?"effing Chapel Hill tree huggers" living in a ?tick infested gulch? (actually a hardwood ravine, bordering on UNC arboretum land) and that he hoped the tank backed up into the house. Nice guy.

I had a need for a septic tank pumped out and looking through the phone book it was pretty bleak. I called several businesses but quickly found not all are insured. Mr. Rowland is and had great phone skills. He spent a lot of time reassuring me of his abilities and the difference between him and the competition. It was already evident to me in his phone skills that he was more capable. We met out there and he went strait to work. I knew the price before he got there. The tank had not been pumped in some time. The claim that the tank was pumped last year could not be true. The people who pumped it out must have scammed us. So then He noticed the problem with the tank and told me of the fix needed and the consequences of not fixing it. He also gave me the price for the additional fix with no delay. So when he was done he covered the tank back with little evidence he had been there. It took a couple of hours but well worth the 20 years or so that the tank was neglected. His truck show that he is proud of his equipment and takes good care of it. I could not believe how nice this experience was. Very Cool!
