Phenomenal service and work performed. Best estimate of all and most on top of the job of any contractor I have hired. Incredibly responsive to a number of questions we had along the way, also customized my moulding to match with different trim areas. Highly recommend!

It went really well. We went through the house and they helped me decide which colors to use. They were very nice, good people. It's a private, family-owned company and they do good work. They will be coming back to tear out some old carpet and put new flooring in. I dealt with Grace and Debbie and they were easy to work with.

Excellent, did a great job. Gave me several options, and decided to go with pre-finished on the 2nd floor to reduce my costs. Kept in constant communication, and were very easy to reach. Their schedule was flexible, and they showed up on time and finished when promised. They also came back and did touch up work for free. Their prices were excellent, they were even significantly lower than quotes I received from lumber liquidator, home depot, and lowes for the same work, and with vastly better customer service. Would definitely hire again.

Very well. Moon's flooring has many many sample books that they even let you take home to help decide what you want (maybe they don't do that anymore I don't know). They were very professional and did a great job installing the floor. Their installers are their employees.

These guys were the wonderful. We interviewed 4 companies and Moon was the least expensive, most responsive and they did a fabulous job. Arrived on time, were very neat. Plan to use them again to do another floor in our home

For the last year, my wife and I had been looking to replace most all of the flooring in our house. We had a number of "no responses", a couple of weak offers and finally pushed hard to make a decision. I've been surprised by the lack of interest most companies showed in our project. From the initial meeting with Moon's at their office, to the site inspection/field dimensions they took, to samples they custom prepared, alternates we requested, to follow-up, to scheduling and reminders, to installation and punch these guys are excellent! My line of work is in Construction and I do not make that statement easily. In two days they demoed, cleaned up and the installed and some 1.500 ft2 of 4" prefinished Hickory (our decision to go with prefinished). The install was to start Wednesday morning and it did. Moon's also understood we had 4 Christmas guests arriving Friday evening and needed to get the house back in order after moving everything out. They were complete and done by 3:00 on Thursday. If you've never heard 5 pneumatic nailers going at once, it is quite impressive. Their orchestration of overlapping demo, layout, install and trim was masterful. Grace, Debi, and Ralph, thanks again. They were efficient, timely, polite and professional. They were neat, clean, and they did a good job.

Came on-time and were reasonably careful of our house. Most sanding was very good. No noticeable waviness that others warned us about. We did have several areas where the smaller orbital sanders (for tight spaces and near edges) left circular sanding marks. Unfortunately, we didn't notice it until near the very end. Moon offered us a partial refund to cover - we probably could have asked it be repaired but chose not to do so as the marks were visible but not really noticeable - i.e., they didn't really stand out. They had issues with the finish coats - so they re-did one - no issues getting them to take care of anything we found. Nice job on the stain - very even. Nice job installing the hardwood vent covers. One minor annoyance, one of the workers did a smiley face on the driveway using something clear. Only noticeable when it rains.

My experience with them was good. We would use them again definitely.

They did a beautiful job. They were very prompt, came immediately to give an estimate and gave a date. They came home the day they said they were coming. It took three days for the process only because it involved a lot of drying in between. It has totally transformed the house; I couldn't believe it. I couldn't tell that they were there except that the floor was beautiful. I don't live in the house and they came earlier in the morning. The contractor Mr. Bill let them in and by the time I would get there they were gone. Even when they were working everything was left quite clean; they cleaned up quit excellently. Their price was better than one other person that I compared them with.

They did a perfect job. Everything was done beautifully. I couldn't be happier. They were very careful about my new cabinets and cleaned up everything.

Provided reasonable estimate. Had a very wide sample of cork floor products to choose from. Work was done promptly, and they did a great job!

While looking for ideas for wood flooring, we were fortunate to discover Moon’s Flooring, located in Mebane NC. As soon as we walked in, we knew we were finally in the right place.A well-established family business, Moon’s experts immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome. They supported us with endless patience and great kindness throughout the lengthy and complex process of choosing both hardwood and carpet for our home. We made the pleasant drive (less than 30 minutes from Chapel Hill) to Mebane to visit Moon’s showroom often. We tried many samples from their extensive variety of quality products, and we asked endless questions. We were always made to feel like valued customers, and they went out of their way to provide us with both the information and the time we needed to explore possibilities and make decisions. The installation process, which we had been dreading, proved to be a pleasant surprise. Moon’s installers were fantastic! They were prompt, courteous, and efficient – and Moon’s has their own in-house team of installers – many of whom have worked for the company for years. Obvious experts, they were very careful in our home throughout the whole process from delivery to clean up. This was our first experience with hardwood, and we are thrilled with our beautiful new floors. It took us awhile to find them, but we are grateful for the fine service and the fine products we got from Moon’s Flooring. We look forward to working with them again on the upstairs portion of our home.

Excellent service beginning with original estimate visit by Mr Moon to when the floors were completed. It took three days from start to finish. Always on time, cleaned up before leaving and floors look beautiful.

There was two different teams that came out and they arrived each day on time for three days. They were friendly and personable. They moved my large furniture. The first day they sanded the floor and brushed on the stain and applied a coat of finish. The second day they buffed the floor and applied another coat of finish. the final day they once again buffed the floor and applied the final coat of finish. It looked great. I am extremely pleased with the results, my floor looks brand new. They left no mess and used their containment system to reduce the dust.

We particularly appreciate that Moon's will visit installation site and advise and provide an estimate at no charge up front. The hard wood installations have always been done most professionally. Their work has worn well over time, and we continue to love our hard wood floors.

All our contacts on the phone, with the estimator, in the store show room, and with the installation crew were pleasant and professional. Since I am a retired carpenter/remodeler, I did some of the prep work myself, like removing shoe molding and metal transition strips at doorways, and removing old flooring in the kitchen. When flooring was completely installed, I re-installed the toilet in the powder room, and handled painting and installing new shoe molding. They had no problem with me doing this work and just adjusted the full service price down accordingly. The installers did a very thorough and careful job of installing 1/4 inch underlayment in our newly remodeled kitchen, a very important and tedious job, necessary to give a smooth surface for the new flooring to bond with. They efficiently removed the top layer of old vinyl in our laundry and powder rooms and determined that underlayment was not necessary there. They did a very good job of cutting in the new flooring around the perimeter of the rooms, and tucked the vinyl under the door trim moldings, having cut the bottoms of the boards for this purpose. They also removed the threshhold for one exterior door and a combination wall and floor register so that the new flooring could be run under those items, which is the proper way to install a floor. The installation took longer than the 2 man crew had figured and they did not stop for lunch. Tired and hungry, they finished by installing threshold metal pieces and caulking. After they left I discovered that a five foot transition strip was slightly crooked and they had missed caulking some of the door moldings. I called the office and the crew came back out within a week. They replaced the crooked metal with a new piece and completed the caulking. I was impressed by the quality of the work (striving for excellence in my own work) and the pleasant attitude of everyone we dealt with in this family run business.

Mr. Moon came to our home and provided a quote for the job including his recommendations for refinishing our floors. He proved to be very knowledgable and explained the entire process from start to finish. Mr. Moon was very personable and felt like he was family when he left. His crew arrived on time, was very professional, and completed the job over the three day period of time as promised to sand and apply the one coat of Dura Seal stain and two coats of Bona Traffic water base finish. We are thrilled with the finished product and have had several friends and guests comment how beautiful the floors are now.

I can't recommend then enough! They were knowledgable and efficient and contacted me frequently to update me on progress of the project. They were flexible when we needed flexibility and simply reliable. They offered great advice. They were all ready to do the last coat and they noticed that our kitchen was completely gutted and called to offer to do the last coat later since they realized there was a lot more work to be done in the house.
