Absolutely terrible. After reading many good reviews I decided to go with RP Ent. This has been an awful nightmare. Todd is very abusive and speaks to you in a condescending tone. Todd destroyed my existing good parts of the driveway, by driving heavy machinery back and forth and scraping the concrete creating massive gouges and crumbling, separated the pads by having heavy weight resting on them,, he hit my house with something and broke up the corner of my brick foundation which will require a brick Mason to fix, busted a huge hole in my garage floor pad and called it a chip, tore up a patch of my septic field, removed and disposed of a section of my newly poured walkway and then told me he wasn't going to remove the pad we had already agreed was to be removed. He was going to try to resurface the driveway at my expense to cover damages he created. He then tried to tell me my driveway had all this damage before he started work. I was told I needed to supply photographs to prove my driveway wasn't damaged before that day. At that point I told him he needed to pay for all of the damages and remove the pad he was supposed to originally (especially since it was cracked it down the middle) They refused and stated that there were only minor fixes and that driveway only needed cleaning. Again stating the driveway was damaged before hand. He came to my property while I was working and measured the property, because he obviously measured wrong the first time, removed the concrete forms and left the property. They did not bother to knock on the door nor call me to let me know they were here. He basically left me with a huge mess that will now cost me more than triple the amount to fix and is sending me demanding emails wanting me to pay for a dump truck or else he is sending me to collections. ***Edit** I received another email this morning from him stating he has seen this review and is now going to put a lean on my home. Beware, this is what you may have to deal with if you chose this company. I will be taking this to small claims court. They would like to claim that I had no intentions of paying which is absurd. I surely would pay for a concrete job that was done correctly and for the terms negotiated. However, this company needs to take responsibility and pay for all damages done to my property.

Response from RP Enterprises
RP has 30 years experience in the concrete industry . RP contacted 1/2 for estimate to replace driveway . We set up time for an estimate , she canceled stated that her neighbor hired someone to do theirs & she was going to go with them . RP was contacted again 2/4 for estimate on driveway . We did give estimate bc 27 YO driveway was allowing water to get in the garage. Set date of 2/14 for job to begin sent a proposal via email to REMOVE part of driveway & replace with new . Sections being a 3x4,22x22 & 17x22 . On 2/10 contacted RP and wanted to add on an additional area of 10x12 this changed contract to $4450. 2/14 RP removed the sections in proposal . We used the driveway to access the location as you can not use the yard due to wetness nor pull a concrete truck on existing driveway period. It has to be skid loaded to the location . On the evening of Feb 14 she called screaming she was not going to pay. She was at the location the whole day that RP was there on the 14th . I stepped in bc in this world you should handle yourself with some business ethics . Screaming at someone does not solve anything . I text and told her we communicate via email . I also told her I would be out the next day to look over everything . I did go out and measure the removal looked very good . The driveway did have some mud on it from the removal which is common . We were in the middle of the construction we still had to get the concrete to the location. Once a job is completed we clean up any mud , dirt ETC . The section she added a 10x12 as we took her word for was actually a 13'4"x11'. I figured once she calm down and could act rational we would come up with a plan . I gathered our tools that were left behind . When I returned to the office the Guilford county Sherriff's office called and asked that RP not return per her request . I really do not how to make someone happy when you can not complete the job . Not sure if anyone could make her happy .She used another contractor in Jan and did not finish her project . RP Owed $1000

They came out quickly for a quote, but when emailing a copy of it, forgot to include the trash can pad on the quote. I called to make sure this was included in the quote and Todd assured me it was. Day of the job they poured the patio and then the concrete truck left without pouring the pad for the trash cans. If we hadn’t called and inquired about it, I’m not sure Todd would have even addressed it. He told us that he ran out of concrete and he would be back 2 weeks later to finish the job. When he finished the patio he knocked on the door and said “where’s my money, I need to buy groceries.” As the paperwork says that payment is due upon completion of job and the job wasn’t completed, we told him we would pay him when the trash can pad was done. He instantly became very rude and aggressive, stating he would go get his tools and dig up the patio that he just laid down. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and would not recommend to anyone.

Todd responded within minutes of my Home Advisor inquiry for concrete work. We set up a date and time for him to come out and see exactly what I wanted done, he measured and took notes, and by that evening I had a quote, which I considered very reasonable. He offered suggestions and even though I made a few changes between the initial quote and the start of the project, he was understanding and updated the measurements and quote as necessary. Both Todd and his helper (Bruce?) were there each morning bright and early setting up the framework and then pouring the concrete. He even added some additional touches which I was very pleased with. I'm very impressed with the end result and with the professionalism and work ethic of Todd and his helper. I would HIGHLY recommend RP Enterprises for any concrete projects you may have. In fact, I expect to be contacting them again when I'm ready to do my front sidewalk. Thanks Todd
Description of Work: It was some what of a multi-dimensional project as I needed concrete pad from one end of the back of my house to the other to clean up a hodge podge of attempts to neaten the area up. Also, I needed a sidewalk from two entrances to the back yard through a vehicle gate and smaller gate which were very muddy when it rained; I wanted a ramp up to my concrete patio for people and pets and a set of steps on the other side of the patio.
