Precise Flooring NC

Do NOT hire Michael Gattis, Precise Flooring, or Precise Revovations for any home repairs. He will make repeated excuses not to finish the work, and bleed money from you until you have nothing left. He has been "renovating" my mother's kitchen for more than three months and still has not completed the job, and has now ghosted us. His excuse...we don't have a written contract with him. He is a con artist. He even told my mother he needed more money for a plumber to look at a floor joist. Don't waste your money on him, hire a real professional. If I could give him ZERO stars I would.

He had done a small bath Vinyl floor (rental) for me & I was satisfied with it. I had him give me a quote for the prefinished hardwood & he was the lowest. Because he had done the bath job, & I was comfortable with it & felt I could Trust him. I gave him the job, & let him know I would be out of town while the work was being done. I made arangement for him to be paid before I returned & could Inspect the job. When I returned & looked at the work, there were three items I was not happy with. 1). He left an open space w/o flooring at the Rear entrance, which was the first thing I saw when I walked in. Needless to say, I was upaet. 2). Then I noticed an small piece af shoe mould that was not attached. 3) There was one place that made a noise when I stepped or walked on it. My return home was a week or more after he had been paid. I called him & talked to him about these items. He said he had hurt his back & had not been able to work. He said it would be a few days before he could get back, but he assured me he would make it all right. Several weeks later I called his cell phone & left message to call me. I have done this numerous times since with no reponse. When we cannot talk the problems don't get solved.. I have sent e-mail with no response. I am going to have to hire someone else to come in & clean up his sorry workmanship. I have since been unable to find in my Pantry, a pruning tool, a 12ft steel tape & 6ft steel tape..Based on this I don't know what else may not turn up..
