+ -1 moreThe wall collapsed 13 days later under 1.61" of rainfall in a 2 hour timeframe. 4 days after that the contractor admitted he was at fault. At that time I found out he is not licensed nor insured. The job ended up 47.5% over estimate. He wrote "100% customer satisfaction" on his estimate. To repair the wall, he wanted me to pay for everything but labor. I chose to go with another contractor rather than let this man back on my property. He should not be used for any project over $1000
Description of Work: Hired to build a 5' high x 55' long retaining wall for my pool out of segmented wall blocks. The deck was finished with pavers and there was a 2' seating bench above the 5' wall.
