Excellent, professional job of prep work, painting and putting things back to order.

These guys are wonderful. Extremely punctual and do exactly what they say they will. Their drywall work as well as painting are top notch and they make no mess at all (including dust-free drywall work). Their price is higher than some others, but they are very much worth it.

As they did when they painted the inside of our house, the Songs did an excellent job and we are very proud of the what our house looks like outside again. The Songs started by cleaning out our gutters and installed something over the gutters so the leaves could not easily fall into the gutters. They then power washed the outside of the house and front porch and made repairs where needed to windows that were starting to rot. Then they painted the outside of the house and trim. We already have them scheduled to install tile flooring in our bathrooms and kitchen and hardwoods in the rest of our house. They are exemplary workers and we highly recommend them to anyone who wants work done to their house.

We called the Song’s regarding painting the inside of our 3 bedroom home and scraping the popcorn ceilings on May 2, 2014. They came out within a few days and walked through the house and were able to give us an estimate before they left, including when they could start and how long it would take them to complete the work. After getting an estimate from someone else, we decided to go with the Song’s even though their estimate was about $1,000 higher than the second estimate. The reason we decided to go with them was because we felt very comfortable with them as people and professionals. They started working on Monday, May 19 and worked every day, including Saturday, Sunday, and Memorial Day. They were usually here by 8:30 each morning and some days they worked as late as 7:00 and true to their word, they completed the work on June 2 as promised. There were times we needed to leave the house for an hour or so but there was no problem leaving them as they are very honest and trustworthy. To scrape the ceilings, they had the proper equipment to use so the house would not be a dusty mess. They took extreme care to clean up their work every day so there was no disruption to our living in the house as they worked. Throughout the house, they came across things that needed to be repaired so they explained the problems to us and fixed them. They also had some suggestions that would make things look better than we discussed and we decided to go with their ideas. We also needed to have 3 bathroom mirrors to be hung that did not come in until after the painting was completed but they were kind enough to come back to the house after the mirrors came in and hung them for us. The price did not change even though they did a good bit of work that was not expected. We have already asked them about putting tile and hardwood floors throughout our house. We already know before we get the estimate, they will be the people for our job. We are anxious to be able to work with them again. We are even willing to wait for them to fit us into their busy schedule.

They did very well, I think, the price and the punctuality, reliability, and the quality of the work.

We have used the Songs on several occasions and have been extremely pleased each time, feeling that not only do they do an excellent job, we feel that we get more than our money's worth for their services We first used the Songs to repaint the entire interior of the house we had just purchased in March 2007. Frequently, they would do things for which we would assume there would be an extra charge. Usually, there was no additional charge and if there was it was minimal and they explained it very carefully in advance. Many times they would do more just because they take such pride in their work. Since the initial job in 2007, anytime a wall gets scarred or has to be cut to do some repair or modification, or we see some repair that is needed, we put it on the "Songs List." When we accumulate enough things to be done, we call them and schedule the work. The most recent list of things for which we called is as follows: Repair drywall in garage where electric transfer panel was installed Repair drywall in garage where electric switch for attic fans was installed Paint the family room ceiling to cover stain from leak - the adjoining ceiling in the kitchen also had a stain which Mr Song covered just by "touchup." - the touchup is not visible due to Mr. Song's perfectly matching the paint to the original aged color. Paint wall over family room windows and door where cornice was removed Repair crack in dining room wall resulting from blasting near our home - this wall had some sort of texturing added by the previous owners which is no longer available. Mr. Song had to go to considerable effort to mix different things to achieve the same textured look that was present. He did an excellent job, resulting in a repair and repainting that is not discernable. He is incredibly talented and meticulous, determined to complete his work at a standard higher than we expect. Replace silicone calking around windows and doors Repair and repaint wall in master bath closet damaged by leak around vent pipe Repaint portion of wall in master bath due to replacement of commode with different size Repaint portion of wall in master bedroom due to replacement of security control with different size Repair peak of roof of detached garage where shingles had been damaged Repaired gap between porch floor and brick wall Repaired and repainted crawlspace door going under house - we didn't realize there was a problem here - Mrs Song discovered it while doing some other work outside. Mr. Song repaired the wood frame for the door before repainting - this necessitated an additional trip back the next day for the painting. We told them it wasn't necessary but they insisted - no additional charge Cleaned gutters and inspected roof There's probably other things that I've forgotten or don't even know about. When Mr. Song see's something that needs to be repaired he frequently just does it and moves on. We can't possibly give any stronger recommendation than we give the Songs. They're two of the most hardworking, meticulous, talented and honest people we've ever met.

The owners performed the work and did an excellent job! The work was done promptly and was done carefully and neatly. Lawn furniture was moved off of the patio as a precaution and the care taken was appreciated. The deck and back steps looked rough before the work was done and ended up looking really nice. Another contractor out at the house a week later commented that the work was done well and looks nice. I did not rate the price as we did not make a direct payment for the repair but we asked for an estimate on some indoor painting and the price estimate was reasonable. We plan on scheduling this work over the next couple of months.

This painting company does an outstanding job. The work was performed in a reasonable length of time and a safe manner. The work site was cleaned up each day. These folks are very personable and easy to work with. They even altered their busy schedule so that they could stain the deck while we were out of town. Our dog had some health problems and needed to use the deck entrance to avoid going up steps -- this is why the deck work needed to be done while we were away. All-in-all the job went extremely well. I submitted a report on this fine company immediately following completion of this job, but for some reason it was never posted on the website.

The job went well. All work was done in a timely and safe manner. The screen covers were high quality and were attached with screws, so that they would stay in place during high wind conditions.

This job progressed with excellent results. Work was very high quality, was done in a reasonable time frame and was reasonably priced. The work area was cleaned up and left neat each day. We even asked the painters to treat our wood deck while we were out of town for a few days and they willingly worked it into their busy schedule. We were most pleased with the results of this job and would definitely use this contactor again. We would give them an A+.

Excellent! The prior owner of our home had somewhat eclectic tastes. The kitchen was painted orange, the dining room was a textured green, the "music room" panels were painted with a texture to resemble leather and the master bath had brown splotches dabbed all over the walls. They completely sanded and vacuumed all walls. (They explained that they do that in all cases.) Their thoroughness and attention to detail was perfect. My wife and I are quite picky, yet they exceeded our expectations. It could not have gone any better. On top of all this they had the lowest bid by a substantial amount. In May, this year, we had them back to do a few more things. Again, they far exceeded what we expected. They even went around the house touching up blemishes and marks on the walls and doors that had accumulated since their earlier painting. We could not be any more positive in recommending the Songs.
