Scott and his team are fantastic!! After being burned by another local painter we were referred to Scott by our kitchen contractor and really wish we had found them first. If you think you need a big painting crew think again Scott and his two other crew members are hard working, punctual and have an excellent attention to details. They primed, painted, sanded and when needed added additional coats of paint. They cleaned up after themselves and we're always respectful of myself, my husband and our two young children. We look forward to utilizing Scott for our future painting needs.

Scott was very professional and thorough. We have hired several other painters over the last few years both to maintain our old home and to restore and refresh our new one. The only one we would hire and again (and have hired again) is Scott Sanders. Our old house was built in the late 90's, so the painting was pretty straightforward. The jobs on our new property were more challenging because the buildings are seventy-five years old, so much of the trim was peeling and rough. In addition, some of the painting involved working over the slate roofs. Scott was clear that the latter would be a challenge, so we agreed to be flexible, potentially adjusting the scope of the work depending on how hard it was to work over the slate. He made sure we were in agreement about expectations of the completed job. (For example, we asked them to leave the alligator texture rather than try to do a deep restoration.) It all turned out well, and they even added on some helpful details that we hadn't planned for, including painting the bell and putting in a new rope for it. We plan to hire Scott for all our painting.

They did a great job painting and were very meticulous. They took down all of the hardware instead of just painting around it. They also helped me with some paint color decisions. They worked from morning to afternoon and didn't stop, and always came to work when they said they were going to be there. I would definitely recommend them for painting your home.

We had Scott come and give us a quote to have the bedroom painted and didn't end up having it done until about 5 months later. When I contacted him after the 5 months, he still had the quote and was very prompt in calling me back to discuss the job even though it was Friday. He said he would be able to start that coming Tuesday (we were in a hurry to have it done) and came by on Monday to take another look and confirm paint color. Two men that he works with arrived Tuesday morning to being work on the room (he called ahead to let me know he would be arriving after them). All of them were very polite and professional. They finished the room in a reasonable amount of time and even painted a couple of shelves to match the trim at no extra cost. Scott was very good about always calling me to let me know when they were on their way and keeping me informed about their progress. They did an excellent job on the wood paneling and we are completely satisfied with the entire job.

As promised in my September review, we brought Scott and his team back after painting our deck to paint the interior of our house. The interior job went just as well as the exterior job. The crew was very professional and took great care with our belongings. We were very impressed with the way they wrapped all the furniture in plastic before painting the ceilings. They painted the HVAC returns the same color as the walls, which looks great. They didn't damage a thing during the course of their work (which was a complaint about a previous company we had used). I recommend this company and we will use them again.

It went so well that we are having Scott come back to paint the interior of our house. We initially contacted Scott for an estimate to paint the interior of our house, but due to other renovations the painting can't be scheduled for several weeks. While he was here we decided to get an estimate for pressure washing the house and staining the deck, and he provided estimates for all three pieces of work on the spot. He said he might be able to do the exterior work the following week, and we liked the estimate well enough that we signed up on the spot. Scott has two strong points that we value very highly: excellent communication and pride in quality. He called every day until the job was finished to let us know what would happen that day. The most impressive development was when his crew came out to start staining the deck and decided it was still too wet to apply product, so they delayed staining by two days. We've never had a contractor voluntarily prioritize quality over schedule, and we think it speaks volumes about Scott's work ethic. Scott's crew was also very careful. When they stained they covered bushes and masked areas so there wouldn't be overspray (they sprayed the lattice and then back brushed it -- the deck itself was all brushed). And to top it all off, Scott came out on a Sunday to move our gas grill back onto the deck, which my husband and I can't do ourselves. I highly recommend Scott and we will be using him for all our painting needs from now on.

Scott did a very good job and I was completely satisfied. He's not just an owner sitting behind a desk he is out in the field helping paint and supervising the jobs every step of the way. His pricing was right and quality was terrific. He also pressured washed my sidewalks and driveway and again did an excellent job. My daughter also used him and just loved him and the quality of his work. I do plan to use again and we have already talked about an upcoming project for crown molding in some bedrooms.

I just moved to the area from another state and was concerned with finding a painting I could trust and would do a good job for the price we agreed upon. I used Angie's List to look for a painter and Scott Sanders had good feedback. I called Scott and he came out the same day within a few hours and quoted the job onsite. We agreed to the work and he scheduled to start the next Monday. Scott and crew we very professional, punctual, and their work was excellent. I have worked with many other painting contractors in the past and Scott has been the best by far. They were non-invasive while we were living in the house and cleaned up after themselves. I consider myself to be very particular on the quality of work and Scott and his crew did an excellent quality job. All of our furniture was covered and we had no overpaint or paint splatter on furniture or floors. You won't regret hiring Scott Sanders.

I was extremely pleased. It was very timely, and high quality work. They were very professional. They were very courteous about little things like parking in the street when they knew I needed to leave.

I had landscapers come and remove old bushes and ivy from the beds in front of my house. When that work was complete, some of the ivy tendrils remained on the white brick front of my home. The landscaper said it was likely the only way to remove the tendrils was to sand them, which could damage the paint. I found Scott on Angie's List and called him to come survey the problem. I also asked him to examine the siding on house and recommend whether it needed replacing or repairing, He provided a free estimate and was very honest with me, telling me exactly what the job to remove the tendrils would entail, and how long he thought it would take. He recommended pressure washing the siding over replacement, and noted several small repairs to the wood trim. He was very honest on how soon he could schedule the work and how the winter weather might affect his schedule and the days he could work. After several weather postponements, his crew came on a Sunday and washed my house, and it immediately looked much better. I have had other pressure washes on the house, but none were as nice as this job. The crew was very professional and worked quickly, and did a good job of picking up after themselves. When the weather improved, he returned to remove the ivy tendrils and the work was superb. The crew very polite and professional. Scott had to match the paint for the front of the house and did a fantastic job. You cannot tell the places where the crew had to repaint the brick. He also went above and beyond, making a few changes that would improve both the look of the house and the drainage from the gutter spouts at not extra cost. He was very professional and I would highly recommend him.

Scott's estimate was exact, his crew showed up on time the day he had scheduled to do the work, they did the work in a timely manner, did an excellent job on the cleanup, and were kind and curtious as they worked in our home. I called Scott to discuss the work I needed done, and he was able to meet with me within24 hours. His quote was reasonable, and he was up front with me about when he could fit the job into his schedule. When he and his crew arrived for the work, the project was actually completed in less time than he originally predicted. I am 100% satisfied and will likely use Scott again in the future.

He painted an upstairs den and also changed the molding over from stain to paint. He has a small crew but he is personally involved in all the activity to make sure they provide quality work. He is also reasonably priced.

Scott was very professional and courteous. He came over the same day and gave us a quote which was right in the price range we expected. He showed up on time and completed the work with no complications. The job exceeded our expectations. Scott is on our list to call when it comes time to have our other ceilings re-done.

Scott responded to request for estimate in a very timely manner; gave detailed list of work to be done and fees for services; discussed areas that would need a different professional to address problem. He started the work the next day and he and his team kept everything clean and tidy during repairs. The interior painting and repairs look terrific and the exterior siding looks new again. Actually the areas they repaired/replaced look better than the old siding ever did. Despite some weather issues the work was completed in 4 days.

Scott came and gave me a quote within 3 days of requesting one. His price blew the other 2 quotes out of the water and even though he was much cheaper the quality didn't suffer. He painted every room in the house in one 8 hour day. He and his crew were professional, clean, and extremely friendly. After the job was complete, he followed up with me on multiple occasions to confirm the job was done to my satisfaction and, of course, it was. On top of the job I hired him to do, I also called him in an emergency situation a couple of weeks after to help me patch up and paint some areas that the electricians had screwed up. I couldn't be happier with his services and because I have 3 rental properties I can save time by just going straight to Scott right off the bat from now on.
