R & S House Cleaning Service

Great work!

I used R&S for one year. The girls who came to clean were professional and did a good job. Rose on the other hand has been a big disappointment. I used the service for one year and when I tried to hire her team to come clean our new home she kept insisting that the home needed a deep cleaning because it was a new house. I explained we moved into a brand new house (it was a model) and did not require the cleaning she went on for 2 more weeks trying to insist I pay double for the first cleaning. She became argumentative. When trying to re-hire the team she did not return my calls promptly. I think the cleaning service is good, but if you want your windows or baseboards cleaned it costs extra. If you want your frig wiped down it is extra.

I used them for several months. They were great. They were very punctual and really friendly. They did an exceptional job, and the price was right. They charged $90 for my house which has four bedrooms and two and a half baths. I recently stopped using them because I needed to reorganize before I could continue again; I am going to take the summer to do that. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

This was the first time I've ever had a deep cleaning done. Absolutely a fantastic experience and one I will repeat. Rose was very responsive in getting things set up ahead of time. One of the things I really liked about the company that greatly influenced my decision to select them was the fact that Rose reads and responds to the comments on Angies List. It's important to me that a business owner responds to comments (both good and bad) about their business. Rose also responded quickly and professionally to every message or call. The two ladies Rose sent arrived a little early, but that actually worked out better for my schedule. English was not the first language for either, but that was not a problem. They got right to work, and managed to work around my home office until everything else was done so I could keep on getting things accomplished, which I greatly appreciated. Every single surface in my house has been cleaned from top to bottom. It's definitely cleaner than I've ever managed to accomplish on my own! The ladies were here for four hours, and they worked every second of that time. They even cleaned the little clear water drip pots beneath my orchids. All in all, this was an excellent experience, and I will definitely be using Rose's service again in my home and recommending it to others.

Rose returned our call promptly, was very thorough in her explanation of services and pricing, and sent her crew at a time that was convenient for us. As a former Housekeeping Manager, I am pretty picky. However, I have been extremely impressed with the cleanliness of my whole house after every visit. The ladies high dust, low dust, glass and tile sparkle like new. hardwood floors look beautiful, and the house smells clean and fresh every time. Their work is just impeccable. We provide a few cleaning chemicals for them, and they have even given us great (and economical) suggestions for some cleaning products! I highly recommend R&S for any cleaning need!

A crew of about 4 ladies came out to my house to deep clean. The ladies were punctual, arriving within the hour window that I was given. There was a slight language barrier but it all worked out. The ladies got to work right away. They were respectful of the fact that my 1 year-old needed to take a nap upstairs. Their attention to detail was excellent--they cleaned the molding around the doors and windows, cleaned the baseboards, dusted in every possible place you could think of. I've used several cleaning companies in the past to do deep cleans, but this is the very first time I've not had to point anything out that was missed. It did seem a bit on the pricey side but I've learned that you get what you pay for. I've used less expensive companies but wound up getting inferior cleaning. It is so refreshing to have a completely clean house, top to bottom! With a 1 year old, my ability to keep the house clean has greatly diminished. I am considering using this company on a regular basis.

The team was on time, organized, thorough beyond expectation, and pleasant in all dealings. Bathrooms were gleaming - tile floor almost looked freshly grouted and kitchen was polished perfectly! Will definitely have them back for monthly service.

I contacted Rose on Friday evening to obtain an estimate for an initial deep clean. Rose returned my call promptly and provided me with an estimate of $240 ($150 per 1,000 sq. ft plus 20% off coupon for Angie's list customers for initial deep clean). I accepted the estimate and Rose scheduled a team of 3 women to clean the next day (great turn around!) at 10:00 am. The women arrived promptly, were courteous, professional, and brought most all of their own supplies. The women did an excellent job of cleaning (and I have high standards) and Rose called several times throughout the day to check on my satisfaction with the cleaning. After 6 hours of cleaning, the job was done. I am very pleased and satisfied with the results of the cleaning and would not hesitate to use this company again. In fact, I have already recommend this company to an interior designer in town who works of many new construction projects and remodeling projects.

My daughter is a single mom with a 5 year old. She works two jobs and is sometimes overwhelmed. For Christmas, I gave her four thorough housecleanings for 2011. After interviewing several of the companies listed on Angies's list, Rose at R&S was by far the most responsive, helpful and professional. I was able to schedule the cleaning within a week and the crew was excellent...on time, thorough, and pleasant. I'll definitely use them for the next three cleanings. Thank you Rose and crew!

It's two ladies who spend about 2 hours. I thought it was expensive but it's not after I checked around. I had a problem once but they fixed it.

They were good and prompt. I wouldn?t say that they were perfectly thorough, but they were relatively thorough. It also was at the end of their long day and they were exhausted because the house that they had been to before mine was in horrible shape. By the time they got to my house they were late, but they stayed and did everything that they were supposed to do. They weren?t hesitant to do the work when I saw some things that they had missed and pointed them out. They had two people here to do the job. The price was more expensive than I expected. They continued to call and update me even though they were late.

These ladies did an outstanding job. They were just excellent in all aspects of our encounter with them. Four ladies worked for about 4.5 hours. They never stopped. There was no idle time - they just got to work. This was an excellent experience for us. I had thought, well, here we go, paying someone to come in and clean our house when we should be able to do it. I was amazed when they left. I gotta tell you, if you want your house really cleaned, these are the ladies to do it.

I was moving into a 2,000 square ft. house the day after Thanksgiving. I knew it might be hard finding someone to clean on the Wednesday before a holiday. I called several services. All were booked. I then called Rose at R&S House Cleaning Service. Rose was very understanding and said she would put a team together to do my deep cleaning. They arrived on time. Rose came with three ladies and two other workers arrived a little later. Rose walked through the house and explained to the workers what was to be done. (alot). Rose then left and the ladies went to work. I don't think there was a thing in the house that they did not clean. Even the door knobs were shined. They cleaned all of my cabinets and drawers inside and out. They moved and cleaned under and behind the refridgerator (it really needed cleaning). My house has lots of mouldings and shelves. They cleaned all of them. They cleaned all of the blinds and windows (inside). The doors were all washed. Even the front door (inside and out), including all woodwork around the doors. The bathrooms sparkled as did the kitchen. Overall, I was VERY happy with all the work they did. They all (three or four workers) worked for 5 hours. I was very happy with the price. I'm thinking of having them clean for me on a regular basis.

The three women that did the work were superb, they got right to work and left the house spotless and smelling clean. They were prompt and very friendly. Will definitely have them back

They did do a wonderful job. They were here about 5 1/2 hours. The bathrooms are immaculate.

2 ladies spent approx 6 hours in house cleaning it. They did indeed do a deep clean. The women were nice and hardworkers. I was very happy with the end result & would recommend them to anyone.

I found them on Angie's List. The interaction was okay, they did a good job cleaning - there were no problems there. I did think they were a little expensive, to be honest.

Rose of R & S House Cleaning Service visited my home to see and talk about just what I wanted done. On the cleaning day, the group arrived promptly at the scheduled time. Rose arrived with them and instructed them in what they were to do. The ladies in the group were courteous and hard-working. Rose is very professional about all aspects of the job. I am very pleased with the cleaning that was accomplished in my home.

I called Rose in the spring and asked about a full house cleaning after having all of our bathroom renovated over the winter. I was very frustrated by the casual approach our cleaning service had fallen into, and knew it was time for a change. This was very traumatic as the boys had grown attached to the cleaning service we had, and did not want to change. I, on the other hand, was the one who saw all the misses and mistakes and got more frustrated each time they came. Rose came out, explained everything about the deep cleaning in detail, and we scheduled it for a Saturday. 4 ladies showed up that day and worked the entire day and our home was totally spotless. After that much renovation work, there was a lot of dust and mess to be cleaned. I was so happy with the job that I got a quote for bi-weekly service and have used R&S ever since (6 months now). Often I am home when the ladies show up, and they are polite, professional and get right with it. They know how to clean - they understand that the new stone in the shower must be cleaned a certain way, that stainless refrigerators have to be cleaned another way, to not use chemicals on the new entry way tile - one review with them insured me that I did not have to worry about these things. They show up and work for 4-5 hours every 2 weeks, and I couldn't be happier. The good thing about R&S is that many of the things that are considered extra with other services are part of their weekly routine. I even mentioned to Rose that one bathtub was barely used and they did not have to clean it each time, but she corrected me and said that dust settles in and you need to clean that tub just like any other. They know their stuff! Regardless if I am home or not, they do the same job each time. They are so nice, courteous and competent, and will adapt to your cleaning preferences and quirks with no issue. If I am not home, I do not worry about them coming and going in my home (something I did not feel so good about with other services). I like the consistency, the professionalism, the constant check-ins and follow-ups from Rose, and the dependability. I'm glad we made the switch and my home looks better than it ever has.

Rose and the girls arrived at the set time. Rose instructed the girls on what needed done and they went right to work and worked steadly for 4 to 5 hours.

I have interviewed(and used)at least 6 cleaners in the last 12 months, so I went into this not expecting much, yet hoping for the best. Rose told me she would arrive between 9-10 and arrived at 10 on the dot(I appreciate her being on time). She and her two person team walked the house and I mentioned certain areas I would like special attention paid to. No problem! She left and the ladies were off to work starting upstairs. I left for an appt. and came back at 2 and they were still hard at work when I returned. The ladies asked questions when necessary but other than that they did not disturb me at all and were very pleasant. I am very pleased with the work and will invite them back at another time to clean again.

Very thorough and my home is spotless after each cleaning. I have the same cleaner every time (used to be a 2-person team but one is pregnant). She does a great job. She often adds special touches like arranging the animals in my son's crib. I can ask her to do something extra once in a while and it's no problem. They are insured and reasonably priced. Rose (owner) has been very flexible to change dates, which I need to do from time to time if for a business trip. I've used R&S for about 8 months now and am very pleased.

Rose, who is the owner, is very responsive and flexible in scheduling. The specific cleaning woman, Laura, is great. Very detailed, efficient and is a native English speaker, which just makes communicating much easier. I enjoy her outgoing personality and ability to work around my needs as a full-time professional telecommuter, my multiple pets and other life situations. Did find it interesting that I provide some of the cleaning supplies, such as trash bags and stainless steel polish, though I do understand why they would prefer to use my vacuum cleaners to prevent any transfer of pet dander to other houses. I did compare prices and while R & S Cleaning's were not the cheapest, they were competitive, but the reason that I went with them was the professionalism of Rose on the initial estimate visit and her willingness to work with me on scheduling and price. Plus once I met Laura and watched her clean my house the first time, I was so impressed that while the next lady was very nice and did a great job also, I really missed enjoy Laura's communication abilities and outgoing personality and was glad to have Laura back this most recent cleaning.
