I was referred to Prestige Roofing by 2 friends. I am very, very pleased with my roof and their work is outstanding. My roof is simply beautiful! Mr. Royster and his team were always very punctual, very professional and did an outstanding job. They did the job for what my Insurance Company quoted and completed the job during the time specified and always left my property cleaned. I referred Prestige Roofing to 9 of my friends in Greensboro, NC and several friends in South Carolina, all have used Prestige services and are very pleased with their roofs. I had the unfortunate displeasure of having Danny Royster owner of Prestige Roofing Company complete “shoty” work on my home. I was introduced to him after he began some work in my mother’s home (in Alamance County). Before he finished at her home (and before she would discover just how unprofessional his work and business practices are) she referred him to me. He showed up and provided an estimate and scheduled the work date for some work to be completed at my home (in Mecklenburg County). His team, as well as he himself, completed the work which proved to not be up to par. I could tell the same day after they packed up and left that things were not as they should be. I had to contact him again to have him come back on TWO subsequent occasions to attempt to bring the work that he completed (and that I paid for in full) up to industry standards. He provided me with countless “sob stories” as to why he couldn’t get his crew back out to fix his work. He even showed up on one occasion to my home (by himself) and attempted to “patch” his exiting work asking to use my hair dryer to complete repairs....NOT PROFESSIONAL IN THE SLIGHTEST! I finally got fed up and just left it alone. I deduced that in lieu of continuing to play along with his ”reindeer games”, I would do what was in my power which was to have the issue fixed by a professional company elsewhere and then inform others of the grave unprofessional-ism of Prestige Roofing Company as well as of it’s owner Danny Royster. Needless to say, roof repairs that Danny Royster and Prestige Roofing Company completed for my mother have failed and the same problem that he claimed to have “fixed” still remains. She contacted him and he performed the same “song and dance” that he does after he already has your money. He scheduled a time to come by and assess what work of his needs to be REDONE and then no ever showed up and the the phone call fudging began. BUYER BEWARE!!!! My mother and I have fallen victim to this con man; however, my hope is that this review will help to keep others from falling victim to the same scheme. It appears that he seeks out single women to take advantage of by getting their money for a job, not performing the job to industry standards, and then never making it right.
