They ground 3 stumps in my yard. Did a very nice job. Left the yard and drive clean. Very professional. Very reasonable.

It went great from start to finish. Very professional.

Our experience was good. They pretty much did everything they said they would do. I was a little unhappy with how high they left the stump and they said they left it that high because of nails that were in it. I would have been happier if they let me know before hand how high the stump would be left. The estimate was right on target and it was very low. They consistently called me back when they had to reschedule due to weather.

Patio turned out well. They were prompt and professional which is why I inquired about my tress etc. Everything else I regret choosing them for

I spoke with Teresa several times during the week and she called as she promised on SUN to let me know they would be coming on Mon and what time. Their estimate was 1/2 of the cost of the other service we had come out. From the time of estimate to the work was done was less than a week. We had a Bradford pear tree removed from the side of our house & the stump ground & the entire house pressure washed for $700 and all in the same day...We will definitely call on them again for any tree work in the future. The house looks great and the tree is gone so we're happy and we saved alot of $$ by using them. Thanks!

They arrived on time and the job went great from start to finish. They are very nice, hard working people. We will use them for all of our tree service needs in the future.

I contacted the company on Tuesday and was told they would get back to me on Wednesday. They did not call so I called at end of day on Thursday. I was told that they didn't have time to handle this request. It would have been nice to know that earlier. I lost three days in my search for a removal company and now I'm concerned I could get a fine from the City. I know it is a small job but now I'm caught between a the city and a Holiday weekend.

Their price was very fair. They worked fast and it was a very clean removal. They were professional I guess. They took care of everything afterwards and made sure that everything looked good. They cleaned it up very well. I would definitely use their services again in the future.

James had come out earlier and given an estimate which was somewhat below other tree service estimates. They came out and worked quickly and cleaned up all debris. I appreciated their professionalism and excellent work. I will definitely use them again!

Out On A Limb had done work for us before and we thought the quality of work for the price they offered was great.

I have found that most companies providing service do so well. Every once in awhile, however, there?s an exception. I found a BIG exception in Out on a Limb. I recently contracted them to do a fairly small job and the price I agreed on of $1,000 was steep (to say nothing of the extra $ to be made by selling the hardwood gleaned from my property), but I was okay with that feeling that, at least, the work would be done satisfactorily. Having had a brief prior experience with them, I had confidence in this company and its owner. I was wrong to enjoy that comfort level. During our original discussion, James Effler told me it would take a day, maybe a little more to clean the debris off of ? of the lot behind my house. We were perfectly clear on the goal of cleaning out debris which included: logs, what little trash the builder left and what few rocks there were. I did not ask him to clear undergrowth, leaves or smaller sticks. The work that needed doing was obvious, so ours was a simple and straightforward agreement. Of the full day he projected it would take to do the work, if his crew worked 2 hours, that would be a stretch. They arrived after 9:00, enjoyed a prolonged break, and were gone by 11:30. Really, again, not a big deal if I had gotten the work I paid for; instead, I got nowhere near it. His crew got most of the wood we agreed on and NONE of the trash or rocks. When I queried him about this, he reneged on our agreement stating that he never had any intention of picking up anything other than wood. He went on (and on) and in quite loud tones. He quickly got angry. Among other heated statements, he yelled at me that ?I knew he was a tree man and should have known he wouldn?t pick up anything other than wood.? (quotes intentional) Seriously??? Why would I (or anyone) have agreed to such exorbitant rates for such little work and a partial job at that? Common sense alone denies such nonsense. When I reminded him of our agreement, he denied it. That fact that I didn?t receive the service we had agreed on was bad enough, but it got worse ? much worse. This man lost all control of his civility; his behavior, tone, words and volume were disgraceful. His demeanor was shameful - to the point that a neighbor came out shortly after he left asking me if I was alright and who that man was that was in my yard yelling at me. It was easy to be embarrassed for him. To say nothing of the fact that he and his wife forced me to rewrite my original check (made out in the company?s name, of course) to remake it to his wife only ? no company name. Perhaps the reason why this company has any good reviews at all is that you can get them to do a job as long as it?s what the owner wishes to do and on his terms. On the other hand, he is obviously not used to being stood up to, let alone by a woman. Honestly, I stand nothing to gain from this warning; my money is gone. But if you were a personal friend, I would share this with you: beware of doing business with this company; there are too many reputable companies available that offer the same services to risk having to endure this man?s behavior and an expensive, yet incomplete project.

The were very responsive, punctual and reasonably priced. They came out as agreed and finished the job in about two hours. They removed the trees and cleaned up the backyard. I was impressed with their speed and attention to details. Certainly, I will use them again.

I have not made a decision on who we are going to go with yet. They were good, and I did not have any concerns or issues with them. I think their price was high.

They performed very well. Arrived at 9AM and had all work completed by 12 noon. They jumped in immediately and worked non-stop until the work was completed. Cleaned up the area thouroughly. We were very pleased with their work. Definitely would recommend Out on a Limb to anyone needing trees removed.

It was a man and his wife. They were diligant with the work, very polite, took pride in their work, they were in and out very quickly, and they did a great job cleaning up.

The company responded within a few hours of my call to schedule a visit, I received a call while they were at my house, a quote was provided and I contracted them at that time. They came back the next day, did the work as agreed, and everything was cleaned up before they left.

I had gotten many quotes for this service, and there was a gigantic variance in the prices quoted, so I was nervous about going with the lowest price (which was this company), but he did a reallly nice job, and was in and out in great time. One of the most impressive things that Mr. Effler was able to do was something that all of the other contractors I spoke with said was umpossible to do: there was a dead pine at the edge of our yard, bordering the street. Our land used to be on a farm, and the bottom 3 feet of tree was EMBEDDED with old rusted barbed wire which used to be a fence but the tree had grown into the wire. SO you couldn't cut it down with any saw. BUT Mr. Effler figured out a way to get that thing out of our yard, and I give him props for that! I recommend this contractor, especially if you are interested in repeat service, etc. He and his workers did a great job.

Out on a Limb was great. Got an estimate on Monday and they were @ my house before I got home on Friday afternoon and had already taken down the biggest dead tree. Only took them 3 hours to cut down 3 trees and several limbs that were getting in the way or too close to the house. Had a couple estimates and they were the best deal. I live on a wooded lot and will be needing tree services again and I will call them.
