It went well, the owner responded quickly to text and calls. The representatives from the company did arrive unexpectedly for an evaluation which there was a charge for. Even with this, we proceeded with using their services. That work was performed on time and at the quoted price and we have not experienced any issue.
Description of Work: Repaired fascia & shingles around chimney.

Description of Work: I have a 2000 sq ft deck that's 13 years old, with cracking boards and peeling solid stain paint. Richard's team replaced the worst boards, then sanded the rest and applied 2 coats of Olympic Elite solid stain and it looks awesome! I know the cost of the materials, so overall this was a very good value and very good work. I would highly recommend Richard for any deck work!

I've worked with RIchard on several projects and had him do work beyond roofs. I have always been happy with his quality and prices. On every roof project I have received multiple bids and Richard's prices have always been competitive and his work has always been high quality. I will use him again in the future.
Description of Work: The last time I used them they repairs a bad roof that I didn't want to completely replace due to budget issues. They did an excellent job. They have done total roof replacements for me in the past which have been excellent.

Richard's crew did an excellent job on our townhome. They were clean and efficient. The crew of four men completed the job in three days. They quickly remedied any issues that we came across. The old colors in our home were left over from the previous owner and were very vibrant tones, which made for a more difficult job of changing them. However, the crew did a great job and there are no remnants of the previous colors.
Description of Work: Repaired and painted interior walls ans ceilings of 1625 sq ft townhome. Repaired slight water damage near master tub.

Their Angies Listing says they perform 24x7 emergency service. Well I had an emergency over the weekend, and never received a call back from them. Obviously this company is a 9 to 5 M-F service provider, so they should eliminate this 24x7 emergency service indicator in their listing. If you have an emergency, call someone else.
Description of Work: Called for emergency roofing help as their Angies Listing says they perform 24X7 emergency service.

Description of Work: We used Nordman & Associates to fix a leak in outdoor skylights. They caulked and repaired three skylights. They also put a little caulking under some shingles.

I highly recommend The Roof Wizard. I've had them out to replace shingles two or three times now and they've never let me down. They are very prompt, courteous and no-nonsense. They get the job done quickly at the price they quote.
Description of Work: I had some missing shingles which needed replacing and I also wanted my chimney cap checked to make sure it was okay. The guys showed up exactly when they said they would and promptly fixed the shingles and checked the chimney (which was okay). He only charged me for the shingles, and this is the amount he had already told me over the phone, so no surprises there.

As far as I can tell, it couldn't have gone better. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing to replace roof shingles. We got such a good impression of him, we will probably call him when we need to replace our roof (which hopefully won't be for another year or two at least!).
Description of Work: We had a few shingles come off during a storm. They were at the very highest point on our roof. Richard came out and replaced them right away and did a great job. No yelling and banging ladders unnecessarily, denting the gutters; no radio blasting, disturbing us and our neighbors...just quickly and carefully got the job done. You can't even see where the new shingles are. Very professional. He obviously takes pride in his work.

The first company we spoke with gave us a bunch of excuses about how difficult the job would be. The estimator from Nordman's had a can-do attitude and was able to send a crew out quickly. We have a very steep roof, but they installed the 2 new fans without a problem. Both workers were cheerful and efficient.
Description of Work: 2 attic fans were replaced.

When we had a leak, it took three days to get somebody out there to fix it. They did provide that service without charging us, but I would've liked them to be more responsive. Otherwise, they did good work.
Description of Work: They redid the roof and put skylights in. They have also come out to do a repair.

I have used the Roof Wizard a couple of times now for various roof maintenance issues while renovating homes ($175 - $500). The quotes have always been reasonable and the quality of work excellent. It is very refreshing to deal with someone willing to work the small the jobs promptly and professionally!

We interviewed 7 contractors. Richard and his partner, Charles, made it to the final two. They were friendly, diligent and listened very carefully to what we were trying to achieve with our home addition. Richard was extremely responsive and timely in all of our communications. His pricing was very reasonable. In the end, we chose another contractor - but would definitely consider using Richard for future projects.

They were just great. They had to come out a second time to fix some issues and they didn't charge us for the second visit. They did a very good job. I would use them again if the need arose.
Description of Work: I have used Nordman and Associates in the past to fix some leaks that we had, replaced the caps on the pipes on the roof and fixed some siding that had hail damage.

It looks amazing! The gutters work properly again and the house exterior looks wonderful. STAINS that were causing our 8-year-old home to look like it needed re-roofing were GONE! Thank you so much for a wonderful job! We will hang onto your number for future use!
Description of Work: Richard gave us an estimate to clean and treat our roof (not pressure wash, but with the correct chemicals), clean the gutters, and pressure wash the entire two-story house. We thought the estimate was very reasonable and had the work done. He came in at the exact cost as was quoted!

I CALLED AND HE ANSWERED RIGHT AWAY. I GAVE HIM THE ADDRESS AND HE TOLD ME HE WOULD DRIVE BY AND LOOK AT IT AND GIVE ME A PRICE OVER THE PHONE. HE CALLED ME LATER THAT DAY WITH A PRICE, AND WE SCHEDULED THE WORK LATER THAT WEEK. HE DID THE JOB AND THEN LEFT ME A BILL. HE DID A GREAT JOB, IT LOOKS LIKE A NEW ROOF! HE WAS ALSO MORE THAN HALF THE PRICE OF THE OTHER CONTRACTOR THAT QUOTED THE JOB.
Description of Work: THE ROOF OF MY HOUSE HAD SOME UNSIGHTLY BLACK STAINS/MILDEW??? CAUSED BY SHADE AND DROPPINGS FROM TREES ABOVE. THE ROOF WAS ON A 2000 SQ FT HOUSE. PART OF THE ROOF IS ON THE SECOND STORY, ABOUT 25 FT HIGH. I WAS PUTTING THE HOUSE UP FOR SALE AND MY REALTOR TOLD ME TO GET THE ROOF CLEANED. I SEARCHED THE LIST FOR ROOF CLEANING AND WAS ONLY ABLE TO FIND ONE OTHER COMPANY. THE QUOTE THAT I GOT FROM THEM WAS VERY HIGH. I FOUND THE ROOF WIZARD IN THE PHONE BOOK AND GOT A GREAT PRICE FROM HIM. THE CONTRACTOR CLEANED THE ROOF OF MY HOUSE WITH SOME KIND OF CLEANING SOLUTION.
