Purchased my first home that has a pool. Called this company to help maintain it. I requested for the pool to have a cleaning as well as a cover placed on it. For the winter season. After numerous scheduling conflicts with them and lapses and communication, they finally came out. The technicians spent all of 30 minutes on the premises. Cleaned The top debris floating in the pool off, Dropped two small bags of chemicals in the pool. Stretched a net over and left. After which I receive a $2500 invoice. Stating that they had cleaned the pool, winterized it, and placed the net. The pool was still completely a mess, so I called them back and requested them to finish the job that I had paid for in cleaning the pool. No response for weeks, turns into months. I continue to call an email, and they respond saying a technician will come out this week, which never did. The owner of a company, they then stressed that some will come out and complete the job. Contacted them again and the receptionist said that there was a note on my service saying that it had already been completed and no further services were needed. After being fed up with all of the months of no communication, and pool still dirty, I ended up YouTubing what all was needed and ended up cleaning it myself. All in all I ended up paying a $2500 net to put over a pool, maybe throw in $25 for small bags of chlorine. I would not recommend this service. Definitely do not pay until your services have been met and to your liking.

DO NOT use this company for your pool care needs. Bill is very sarcastic and rude. So many choices in Charlotte...this is a terrible company!

It took eight weeks for the job to finally be performed. The company was supposed to call and schedule the repair. Crew of two showed up unannounced on a random day. We were not anticipating them to so we could have gate unlocked, dog secured and payment ready. This could have created a security issue had they just gone to the pool in the back. I don't blame the crew. They were not responsible for this task and it was the office staff responsibility. Crew took about two hours. They were polite, did great work, left everything clean. Very professional looking job. I thought the pricing was a little high. But there are only so many companies that do this specialized work. Part of owning a pool.

Months and months of over promising and under delivering. The work was never completed as promised. The crew never showed up on time or as promised. I'm still waiting for them to come back and finish cleaning up some of the stains left in the pool. And the cleaner and pump are much louder now than before the work was done. Very disappointing.

After having the cover on our pool for close to 3 years, we decided to take the cover off and get it ready for the spring. After a couple of other estimatates, I chose New Look Services because of Bill's professionalism and knowledge of what needed to be done without charging for unnecessary services. We had the pool re-plastered and had all new equipment installed. It has been a month since they completed everything and we have no complaints.

The overall experience with New Look Services was a very welcome change from our experiences with other pool companies. Had to leave a message when I first called, but received a prompt call back. Scheduling an appointment was easy and the technician that came by was very knowledgeable and courteous. We are very satisfied with New Look Services and plan to use them for any future pool needs.

They were prompt. They came out and gave me a very good estimate. We had gotten some really high estimates before. When they did come out, they let us know when they were coming. They came in and cleaned up their mess. They repaired the pool. We haven't had any problems with it since they repaired it. The quality of the work was excellent. They came up with a solution to fix a problem no one else could fix.

They performed above and beyond our expectations. Very professional crew. Good communication. Awesome experience. Will use them again and again.

I've used New Look Services (NLS) before this and will continue to use them in the future. Bill Warren is always very responsive, even when I might call him at an inopportune time (evening or weekend). The detailed work conducted by the NLS crew was very methodical and complete. The two repairmen actually wound up repairing 3, not 2, leaks in the spa, and they kept the area(s) as clean as possible based on the messy work to be done. They cleaned up thoroughly afterward and little things, like placing their equipment and tools on a tarp on the pool deck (so as not to damage the deck) were noticed and appreciated. Once again, an outstanding job by NLS. I've had trouble finding reliable pool service organizations in Charlotte but I'm sticking now with NLS, they consistently perform at the top of their game.

Bottom line, New Look Services did an outstanding job, better than my expectations! Their decking expert, Chris, was onsite for several days, was detailed, meticulous, and demonstrated pride in his workmanship. He did a great job, I'm very pleased and will re-use him and New Look Services for all future pool needs, even beyond decking now. My next experience with New Look will be for some spa leak repairs, they continue to be responsive on that front and i look forward to leaving another Angie's List positive update on that item! As a side note, poor Chris was even challenged on-the-spot, to and quot;permanently disposeand quot; of a 2+ foot copperhead snake that suddenly appeared in his work area! I'm glad I wasn't home at the time, ha!
