Description of Work: I contacted Robert Hess with an email and picture of a house for sale for his professional opinion about the possibility of updating the house if we decide to purchase it. He responded to my contact the same day and offered his honest advice. This was extremely helpful in our decision process. This particular house was not the home for us. His portfolio is gorgeous. He has vision and his designs are great. We will not hesitate to contact him again for any future advice or to retain his services.

+ -1 moreRobert was comfortable taking our "wish list" and my strong opinions and developing the redesign of our home that is comfortable, beautiful and fits the lifestyle of our family. He shared resources and brainstormed alternatives to get to the just-right final design and was also proactive during the construction phase providing consultation with engineer, contractor and inspectors where needed. All around, Robert was a gem to work with and we look forward to having him design the expansion phase of our home renovation.

+ -1 moreHe is very collaborative and engages structural engineers. He takes everything into account and suggested for us to have our property surveyed because of our swim buffer. He takes into account the subcontractors with thinking how things will run in regards to heating and duct work, plumbing and pipes, etc.
Description of Work: Hess Architecture has provided 2 sets of drawings for 2 properties. We will be recieving our final set this evening.
