 + -1 moreI thought they did a great job. They have a big backlog, so you have to be patient and it is worth it. I think their prices are fair, but they are not cheap. You wouldn't take an ordinary piece of furniture to them. Ideally, you take an antique piece that has sentimental or family value for the refurbishing. Even though it would be an extra trip, I would recommend going to the shop with the to get a estimate before taking it in for work. I also know two other people who have used their services and are very pleased as well.
Description of Work: I hired them to refinish and repair an antique chair where the struts on the base had aged and gave away.

 + -1 moreTHEY HAD MY PIECE FOR THREE MONTHS BEFORE COMPLETING THE WORK. DELIVERY WAS SET FOR A THURSDAY. WHEN THEY DID NOT COME WITHIN THE APPOINTED TIME, I CALLED AND THEY SAID THEY HAD ME SCHEDULED FOR THE NEXT DAY. THEY IMMEDIATELY CORRECTED THE SITUATION AND HAD THE PIECE DELIVERED WITHIN 20 MINUTES. COST FOR THE WORK SEEMED EXCEEDINGLY HIGH. QUALITY OF THE WORK APPEARS GOOD ALTHOUGH THE ORIGINAL CRACKLED FINISH ON THE CABINET TOP WAS COVERED.
Description of Work: BATHROOM CABINETS NEEDED TO BE REPAINTED AND FINISHED WITH A WATERPROOF FINISH. BOTTOM OF CABINET NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.
