It went well for the Angie's List Deal, went quickly, fixed the immediate issue and gave some helpful input on other questions. Gave a rough estimate on what it would cost the company to replace the old electrical panel, price seemed a little high.

Initial contact was excellent and Devine offered to come out sooner than originally scheduled, however that fell through when the workman was delayed on a previous case. Well communicated. On the scheduled day. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, workman arrives as scheduled (9:00AM0 but it unaware of the work to be done. As workman inspects the work to be done, I call Jesse and discuss issue. Workman leaves because he does not have the correct parts on his truck. He returns two hours later and completes the work. Workman mumbles something about loose wires under the house and I respond that "I'll take care of it." He hands me a bill for $286.50 for the labor and parts. I guess it's shame on me for expecting this $99.00 special to be an afforable solution to a simple job. Not only did the workman charge $162.50 per hour for his time, he also charge $59.00 for a $12.00 part available at any big box store. Probably gouged me on the amount of wire costs too. He also did not clean up the kitchen where he used a drill to bore a hole into my hardwood floors. This, according to Devine's owner is an acceptable practive and everything was "done to code.' Complained to owner and after several back and forths via phone and email, he offered another $100 off on any FUTURE service. Since I probably will not use this provider for any future work, it is a safe "remedy" for this service. I cannot recommend Devine Electric with any good conscience.

We first contacted Jesse on the Friday after we bought the code. He told us to call again on Tuesday. He didn't answer and then we reached out again on Wednesday. He asked us to take some pictures. We did via iphone and sent them over. We requested that he come out for an estimate and he seemed very put off by that. On Saturday we sent some additional pictures that were requested. It just seems very strange to us that he wouldn't come out to give us a proper estimate on our job. We told him that and he said to contact Angies List for a refund.

After a few bumps in the road trying to get an Angie's Deal scheduled ($99 for $200 of work) Divine Electric came out today to help me with small list of items. Even though the scheduling took some time and there were errors (probably on my end as well) Jesse was VERY responsive initially and subsequently trying to get us on the schedule which I appreciated. Justin arrived in the time window provided to us and was very polite and clean. He installed a new outlet in the ceiling for a lighting fixture, yet unchosen and warned me that there would be several holes in the ceiling and wall to install and made sure I was okay with that. SInce we will be re-painting and the like, I told him that would be fine. The holes he left were clean and he replaced the sheetrock that he cut out (kind of like puzzle pieces). He was also quick in replacing the lighting fixture in my powder room that had been sitting in the garage and on my honey-do list for weeks. The Angie's Deal with Divine is a great deal if you are just switching out fixtures. You can get a great deal of stuff done for that $99 (about an hour) Total price seemed kind of steep after deal, however to be fair I don't know what Electricians charge, probably right in line. Was more than I expected to pay considering the deal I already paid $99 for...Additional $150 in labor and $45 in materials for 2 hours of work total

Great communication and excellent customer service! After the work was performed, the service provider told me I had to meet a minimum of $200, which I hadn't done, so I ended up having to pay an additional fee of $50 beyond the coupon.

The technician did a great job; however, the administrator was not aware of the details of the coupon that was posted when I called before setting the appointment. He seem to want to blame Angies' list for not making him aware of what his company was offering. I was disappointed at that because that is initially the " big picture" . The service follows. The coupon said $200.00 worth of service for $99.00. I told him my budget was limited. he said explain that to the technician. Their pricing method lends itself to a bait and switch. I had a coupon for a carpet cleaning, he defined what was involved in his job. It was very clear and professional. I know electrical work can be a problem because of the variety of issues, but I paid $ 99 for the coupon and $119.00 for service for a total of $218.00 for what was deem $200.00 coupon value. This was not a deal based upon a professional electrician's opinion. Again, the work was done well.

The electrician came and did a great job! He was running about 2 hours late but we did keep in contact via text message so no problem. Our entryway foyer light was hung horribly by another company a few years ago! Divine came in and it took them 15 minutes to take it down, rewire it and rehang. It looks great!!!! Also, our floor outlet came loose and fell into the crawl space! They came out, crawled through the muddy crawl and fixed it! So happy I didn't have to!!!!!

I had an appointment for 8am Friday. At 9:30 I called and was told that a mistake was made and the electrician was sent to a different job but he would come over shortly. He did arrive a bit later but had no information as to what the job was so after explaining it to him, he had to go to Home Depot to get parts. He started working later that afternoon. I showed the electrician the wall mounting for the tv and he said he couldn't fit the outlet behind it. However upon completion, he indicated that he could have put it behind the tv so it was not visible. The installation was done with silver conduits run up the side of my house and around the pergola and wall. The outlets on the pergoal were not attached to a switch so each time I want to turn the lights on I have to get on a ladder. I contacted the owner Jesse and asked that he come out to look at the work and tell me that it was 8 hours and $1500.00 worth of time given how it looked now and feedback that I received from the contractor and other electricians. He told me that people will tell me what I want to hear, he had seen pictures of the job and it was fine. He accused me of yelling at him which did not happen and then told me that the outlet could not have been behind the tv. I then explained that I had received a text from his electrician the day before indicating that he could come over and move the outlet. He made me uncomfortable when he was there and I was clear to Jesse that I did not want the same person coming back to my home. Jesse became so enraged that I hadn't told him about the text that he screamed at me for 3 straight minutes and hung up on me. My expectation was that he would come out to see the work, explain it to me and fix the outlet and the switch. That would have been all it took to turn a poor rating around. The quality of the service was poor, slow and costly. On top of that to not have the job completed and to be spoken to by the owner in such a rude way is inexcusable.

They were here on time for the appointment. They completed our kitchen in about 3 hours and there was no mess left behind. It was all an extremely good experience.

He replaced the front Porch light fixture with one I had already procured; he replaced the laundry light and he replaced a light fixture in the kitchen. He also showed me what switch in the garage turned on the front garage light fixtures. All this took less than an hour; it was great having an expert electrician install the light fixtures without turning off circuit breakers in the garage that would have inadvertently turned off the alarm system installed in the house.

Purchased the $99 deal for electrical service. Response and scheduling from Divine Electric was nearly immediate, Billy the electrician was professional and diligent. I had an electrician friend look at the problem prior to Divine Electric, but the problem was misdiagnosed. Billy identified the problem quickly. Most of the additional cost above the "deal" was materials, and my own adds to have him look at other electrical items that needed attention.

The total time for all labor was 2.0 hours. The labor charges were 275 minus the 200 credit from Angi's List. With tax and parts, the result was an already paid fee to Angi's list for 99 dollars (for a 200 dollar credit) and an additional 105.09 to complete the job. The two fans were pre-assembled and took about 15 minutes to install for both. The rest of the time was to reinforce the ceiling mounts. Approximate total cost to me was about 200 dollars. I was very satisfied with the quality of work. I would probably use this provider again.

They put me off for a while, but finally came out. I wanted them to change the light fixture in my master bedroom closet, they ended up charging me an additional $77. They said the first hour is $150 and I only had paid for part of the hour, that was the difference. They were very nice and did good work, but they were only here for about 20-25 minutes. I just feel that I should not have had to pay that much extra; maybe the wording of the deal should have been more clearly stated that there is a $150 an hour charge.

Let me begin by saying that the electrician himself was wonderful and did a great job. My beef is with the dispatcher/owner? First of all their ad says they service the Lake Norman area which Denver most definitely is but when he finally called to schedule the work I was told we were not in their area. To give him credit where it is due I offered to call someone else but he said they would come but only if I agreed to a $29.00 fuel fee, which I did. The thing that really upset me was our Angie's deal was for $200 worth of service and the bill was $149. Now I could certainly understand not giving money back but to charge me extra when what I had done did not even equal the amount I paid for is, in our opinion, just not the right thing to do.

It was very good. They were very good. They didn’t try to sell us anything, they were here on time and they didn’t make a mess or anything, I mean, they were really good. I was so satisfied with them. They were here when they said they would be. I think the reason we had them instead of the other one was because they were running on a promotion or something and we knew we had these things to be done.

The guys at Divine Electric are nice to work with. I was able to have a Chandelier and 2 pendant lights hung within an hour and a half. Charges forf the box to hold the Chandelier was excessive, but the service was very good. They had problems with their van (mechanical), but I had to call to reschedule (versus their calling me).

It went very well. The electrician was on time very courteous. He explained everything that he was doing.

I was happy with the service and they were good. I was able to schedule it quickly and they got the job done in about 2 hours. The electrician did a good job and he did exactly what we asked him to do. There was a huge confusion with the price as the company told me that Angie’s List had the deal printed wrong.

I wasn't going to make a review but based on the A+ rating I felt I had to make folks aware of Divines business practices. We obtained a quote and intern we signed a contract to replace multiple service panels that were on the outside of our house and the inside of the home. All work was supposed to be permit-ed and inspected upon completion of the project. To start the folks whom we meet with to bid the job and the ones that did the work are 100% different people and possibly subcontracted, beware of the bait and switch here as we felt very comfortable with the gentleman who came out to bid the work and the two college kids that showed up to do it were less than impressive They installed the new panels but didn't label anything so it was mystery what went were once the consolidation occurred. Upon 90% completion of the project we were informed that there "no way" to obtain a permit and hence an inspection based on the existing wiring which he didnt have any control over. This would have been useful prior to signing a contract that stated for all work to be inspected, regardless we persevered on and had them install a couple ceiling fans in our kids bedroom The fan install is were we had a huge issue that we didnt find out until recently, upon further inspection of the fan install we found that divine utilized a ground wire as a hot lead to the fan and simply covered it black tape to avoid a fire. We didnt find this until we had the lights flicker and had to hire another electrician to run the proper wire to the fan. Taking everything into consideration, the bait and switch on the workers vs bid guy, the mis-information of a signed contract and the blatant disregard for human safety let alone good business practice I would highly recommended you stay far away from Jesse (whom BTW never once visited the site despite many phone calls to him) and his band of misfits and go with someone that will stand by the work. ****Wow, the audacity. The response from divine is a complete lie. Permits must be pulled before any work can start..... by law. Ask your county inspector. They are there to protect you. I had to learn that the hard way obviously. Soooo that means that a permit should have been pulled before they ripped off our old panel and installed new breakers. It was at that point that they had issues with the new breakers tripping. Seriously, call your local electrical inspector and ask. The person who quoted the job for Divine quit the day before the work started and no one told us. So, 2 people we had never met showed up to do the work. The wire for one fan was existing, but that does not mean they could a neutral to power the light on the fan. Also I have a video that the electrician who fixed Divines handy work took showing the switch where they used the neutral as a hot in my son's room. After we found that we did not trust them to come back on our property. They never offered a refund. Actually they charged me another 300.00 to come out and fix the issues it was causing and the tech shocked himself because of the back feed from the neutral. He didn't fix the problem either. I'm sure the electrical board will pull their license when they see the video, so folks make sure you ask them to show you a copy of a valid license if you plan on hiring them. Oh and be sure your house is insured for fire damage. Beware of Divine. I wouldn't waste my precious time writing this review if they didn't put my family in danger and not live up to their contract. Just deplorable.

The advertisement did not really explain what was included, so when I asked him about additional work, it was not included. It's not that I was unhappy with their work, but it wasn't clear to me what they were expected to do. The offer was for two hours or three hours of electrical work, but there was a travel fee involved and I didn't like that.

Most courteous were able to accommodate time for the service since I had to go to work. Very professional and knowledgeable was able to get right to the problem and correct. Most impressed with their responsiveness.

Response was prompt. I just no longer needed the service. It was my own fault, not theirs! Thank you.

I sent a message to provider via Angie's List and received a response from Jesse to call. I called and left a message and received a phone call the following day on my answering machine. I have called several days straight now leaving messages and have not heard back from anyone. Finally Jesse called and apologized and explained why he was unable to call. Everything got worked out and kudos to Jesse for making that call and apologizing.

Never returned my call. Does not answer a phone call one minute after stated close time of 5PM. Even returning e-mails was slow - sometimes several days. Overall apathetic response. Decided to find another electrician. I can't comment on the quality of their work, because it was too challenging to get any communication from them to schedule the work.

Electrical folks were fine. They did what I needed them to do.
