Jesse gave me a quote over the phone and the work was completed as described. Quality was good. The installer left without completing the job the first day, but came back to finish the next morning. Jesse has helped me make tradeoffs as I've considered various design options.

Went fine, but I found that using an electrician is very expensive even with the discount. The fellow who came knew his stuff and even suggested errors he saw in some of my contractor work.

Called Divine Electrical and spoke withe Jesse. Prior to my call I had a HVAC service guy out to my house to fix an air conditioning problem who informed me he thought it was an electrical issue with a breaker on my panel. When speaking with Jesse he was able to get a hold of someone in the area immediately and had a technician out to my house that day. Wonderful customer service right from the start. The technician came to my home and went over everything with me - told me that there was no problem with my electrical panel and was able to point me back in the direction of the HVAC technician and even got on the phone with them to explain what was happening. Since no electrical services were provided Jesse allowed me to use the diagnostic coupon I found on Angies List. Divine Electric came out within a moments notice and provided A+ service - I will be using them again!! Highly recommended!!

Tech. briefly looked at present gas stove which turned out to work after I took it apart to show tech. that oven would not light. Tech, also determined that when house was built no electric stove line was installed . After I put in new glow bar, thought gas valve might be bad because oven burner would not light. Tech was not an appliance repair person in fairness to him. With tech observing, burner just started without us doing anything except turning it on. Burner would not previously ignite after I had instlalled glow bar. Never figured out what happened to cause it to now work. Got a quote to install electrical line in event I switch to electric stove. Owner called back later after giving quote on site and agreed to lower price by $100. It was going to be a complex installation reuiring running line outside and enclosing line in conduit. Price for electrical line and cost for new stove were more than I can afford right now. Decided to keep using gas stove for now and do without an oven if the gas stove quit again.

Well I have power in my building. The guy knew what I wanted before he came but after he dug the trench he said he had to leave to go buy the cable which I thought he should have brought with him. The quality of work he did was good. I was not impressed with his cleanup nor his refilling the trench.

Excellent service, on time, professional and estimates on target. Polite and explained what was happening. Justin did an excellent job and we have used a second time. Results same - Professional, on time and communicated very effectively. Will use Divine Electric again.

Smooth. His man showed up at the day and time scheduled. ( a rarity now days with any kind of service).He worked as long as he could trying to find my issue. That led to the discovery that something else needed to be repaired (non-electrical) before he could do the rest of his work. They were very kind in giving me time to take care of that, checking back with me to see when they could come back and finish. The worker was very professional and nice as is the owner. Being a female and a business owner, I almost cringe when I have to hire any kind of service. So many times people take advantage of women sadly. But not this company. I'd use them again at my business or home with out hesitation.

I had a few lights in my 1936 house that needed to be changed that a regular installer refused to try due to old wiring. Once he got to the house, he took down the old lights and recognized that although the wiring was very old he knew exactly what was happening and the method in which the fixture was originally installed (a method no longer used). He was able to mount the lights with no troubles whatsoever. Due to some communication issues when I was originally trying to get this done, Jesse also threw in a free electrical box tune up. I would most definitely use them again!

They called right away to set the appointment and showed up on time. The service was a disaster. What they did not make clear was that the $99 for $200 was for one hour. When he arrived he did not have the part, he said he would go get the part and was gone for an hour even though Lowe’s is 5 minutes from my house. He fixed three ceiling lights and wrote up the bill for $300 and the work only took him 25 minutes. I told him this was not right and asked to speak with his boss about the billing. I heard him on the phone with his boss who told him to not charge me for the time he was gone at Lowe’s. The technician was angry with me and I told him to have his boss call me and I will pay him over the phone. His boss called me two days later and I told him he should make it clear the $200 was for one hour and he told me I would have known had I asked. I told him the charges do not make sense to me. He finally agreed with me on the billing. I was not happy with the service and I feel they need to be more courteous to their customers.

They did the work as promised, arrived on time, and completed the work quickly. I'm happy with the quality of their service, too.

I called the to see if they could install a ceiling fan for me and mentioned I saw the big deal on Angie's List for $99 for 2 hours of labor. He said he would be able to send someone out that Friday which was great (fast). He asked me to text him my information because he was driving so I did, and I texted to confirm if I needed to buy the big deal and he said no because he will already apply the discount for me. The actual installer arrived on time (hence A for punctuality) and did a great job installing the fan (even though it was wobbling, but that was a manufacturer issue). The annoying parts: 1- the bill was $149. I was a little suspicious that there was any discount applied here as the job was around an hour and the big deal was for $99 for $200 worth of services. So I asked the installer if that was the normal rate and he said it was. I told him the guy I talked to said he was applying the Angie's List discount for me and even showed him the text. He said that $99 deal was for $200 worth of services and so didn't really apply here since the fan install cost less. I was like uhhh.... ok doesn't that mean you just did less work for $99 than you would have if I had a $200 job? I mean I can find them some light bulbs to change or keep them busy for another 30 min to save $50.... anyway - I didn't make a huge fuss about it because the manufacturer of my ceiling fan was reimbursing me for the install because it was a warranty re-install. However, I made a note to self that I didn't like how this company operated and likely would not re-hire. 2- I asked if I could pay by credit card. They said they take credit card but asked me to provide a check. Not a huge deal but if you take credit card and the customer prefers to pay by credit card, let them. 3-They had no invoices on them and I needed one to submit to the manufacturer. It was Friday around 1pm, I figured they could get me one via email, but he didn't get it to me until Monday and that was after I felt like I had to badger them a bit. So anyway, that was my experience, I saw someone else had the same experience with the $99 big deal. Definitely a company to beware of with Angie's list deals.

Window for arrival was 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. At approximately 2:00 tech called from truck. He was enroute and needed directions (no GPS) and asked what services I needed performed. (I had supplied that info both on an Angie's List message and on an earlier phone call to someone at his office. When I described the problem, we mutually decided a new ballast and new bulbs would likely be needed. He stopped at Lowe's, which was on the way here, and purchased these with his own money. He arrived about 2:30, switched out the parts and was done by 3:00. His appearance and manner were not very pleasing. In baggy pants, with shirt tail out, he was sweaty and smelly from his last assignment. He asked if we had bought an Angie's deal or what. We cited the deal, "$99 for $200 of electrical services." He said there would be an additional $50 charge, explaining that if the value of the work performed was less than $200 then the customer has to make up the difference. We frowned and grumbled a lot, but paid the $50. He said a "lot of his customers" had the same reaction we did, which was "where the h*** is the deal? The "deal" implies that $99 would cover all work UP TO $200. Angie's ought to be more clear about what exactly it is we're buying.

Was unable to use service certificate as advertised because it was not specified that an attic was required over the room for which the lights would be installed in. Poor communication and very difficult to schedule the initial meet up at the house.

He had trouble scheduling at first. He said he would get back to me. I called him again 30 days later and he set an appointment with me in my home but did not show up. I called again and he said I wasn't on the schedule but he did remember talking to me. After that I had my husband call and get them out to the house. The person that came to our house was less than excited to explain the details and told us how he would have to make holes in the drywall and that they didn't do drywall. The whole experience was frustrating and we have asked for our money back. The vendor has not returned any of our prepaid money as of yet. I hope to be able to either get a refund or a properly installed light set - turn key. That's all I really ever wanted. So sad this wasn't a good experience. I started all this in May.

This is not a deal at all!!! They charge $149 for the first hour, $125 for each additional hour for labor, plus you pay the materials. They charged me $171 for materials that would have cost about $50-60 at Lowes/Home Depot. So in addition to the $99 I already paid for the $200 in Electrical Services I also received an invoice for $320 additional. Bottom line is they mark up their rates for the labor and materials to absorb any discount customers believe they are getting through the big deal. The electrician showed up at 9:30 rather than 8 am. He was not very friendly and had to leave and come back with additional electrical covers. I would anticipate an electrician would ensure they were stocked up with basics like outdoor outlet covers for the day when leaving for daily jobs. Overall work quality seemed very good, however, Angies List customers beware this is not a deal and you will be overcharged for any supplies/materials they need.

He was professional friendly, on time and helpful with his suggestions, and job was done to our satisfaction.

There was no outlet or box where I wanted to place the security light so I needed an expert. Divine Electric and I played a bit of phone tag at first but we were able to connect after a few misses on both ends. Once we spoke I secured a time and the technician showed up as scheduled. He was able to install the outlet/box and the security light in about 45 minutes. I supplied the wire so there was no charge above the cost of the Angie's List deal. The quality and speed of installation exceeded my expectations.

Excellent! Worker (sorry i forgot his name)showed up on time, went straight to work. Finished within the hour i paid for. He was professional & nice. Will definitely use this company again. Thank you!

We purchased the deal on 6/1/14. We tried contacting the vendor two times between the first week of June and June 10th and did not receive a response. We needed the service to be done quickly and did not wish to wait any longer so we went with another vendor on Angie's List who were able to schedule us immediately.

Excellent. They even made a follow-up call to see if everything was ok.

After reviewing the options, costs, and alternatives, we opted to not pursue the work from this provider.

The technician was very pleasant and helpful. He was able to fix our light and looked at an outside security light that we could not get working with the light switch and garage light. He didn't have to help us with these other two items, yet he was happy to look at them for us. The quality of his work was great. We would use them again!!
