Company was nice and easy to speak with. Sadly, the service provided had extra terms and conditions that were NOT listed in the deal such as that the work can only be done if lights are accessible by an attic or open space above the room. A $160 up charge was quoted for this extra work. As this was not listed in the terms and conditions we request a refund.

The provider was easy to book appointment with. Jusin arrived on time and got right to work. He installed the lights with ease. I think he was here maybe 1 1/2hrs. Really, friendly guy. I had recieved a bid from another Angies list provider to do the same job for $1,125. I just saved $700+. We cant believe the difference, the can lights add to our kitchen. We are very happy customers. I will call Devine Electric next time i have a job.Thanks, Angles list.

It was a Big Deal purchase. It was easy scheduling an appointment for them to come out. They were on time. They were professional and courteous. I would use them again. I paid additional $100 for the service.

There was one person here and they were here for the two hours. Scheduling an appointment was fine.

They called me after my Angie's list purchase and were at the house within about 3 hours of the call! Very fast response time! The technician looked at the problem and told me exactly what was wrong and what need to be done to fix it. I'd recommend them for any electrical work.

My experience was okay. They were able to come out shortly after I had purchased the deal. We had to help the technician to do some of the things in the appointment otherwise it would not have gotten done. Everything turned out fine.

He let me follow him around while he worked and answered my questions. He did everything I needed and even did a little extra work when he asked if there was anything else I needed. He was timely, thorough, and patient. I appreciated his service.

The installer was an amateur, He even told me he prefers and does not use stud finders, so his technique is to punch holes in the wall until he can figure out what works best when it comes to routing wire though the ceiling and wall. Since he did not carry or use on I had to provide him mine otherwise he would have just started ripping the wall up. They also charges an excessive amount for the material they used such as an HDMI cable ... $59.00 for a $12 cable come on now. I expect and will pay for a mark up but that is un real. Regards Tom L.

The company was very fast & efficient. They also had great customer service. I would highly recommend Divine to anyone in need to electrical services.

For what I paid, not good. The fixture was moved successfully, but the cap he used over the original junction spot was obviously a "throw away" from a previous job. It was scratched, dirty, and had two dirty white pieces of tape over unused holes. Unfortunately I didn't see it until after he left. Plus, since I had purchased the "two hour special" through Angies List, I had a couple of other electrical things for him to do. But instead, he told me those jobs would be extensive and costly. (They were neither) So I paid almost $400 for him to move a fixture and install a recessed light. (including $19 for a basic bulb...and $35 for the previously described used trim piece) I contacted the owner, Jesse, with my complaint about the used ceiling cap and the excessive charges. He offered to give me a small refund of $50. I didn't take the refund. Instead I just know that I will not use this company again. There are other reputable companies out there that do it right the first time. Life is too short to expend energy on the ones that don't. Unfortunately for me, Divine Electric is in that category. This is my first Angie's List disappointment. When I received the request to review this company, I determined that speaking up would be beneficial for other Angie's List members. I hope to never post another negative review!

Competent job on running cables. Provider installed light fixture which is supposed to come on in the evening and go off at night. It stays on all the time. Charge was twice as much as anticipated. Would have appreciated a heads up that we were going into very expensive territory once we went past the amount of time we paid for. Devine electric contacted us to see if they could improve our opinion of the company. That in itself is a big plus. The sensor I bought at Lowes was defective so they sent a workman to remove it. I ordered a more reliable sensor (hurrah for Amazon) and as soon as it comes in, they will come and install it.

Purchased big deal for electrical issues on Friday Sept12 and promptly got a call to make appointment for Monday the 15th. He called in the morning to confirm and arrived and completed the repairs in 45 mins. Did a good job.

I had to run out and buy a new switch, all the guy did was install it. Took about 5 minutes and I could've done it myself if I had known I'd have to purchase the switch anyway.

The job that I needed to be done was not covered under the Big Deal. I ended up choosing a different company.

The work was straightforward and Justin did a nice job across the board.

The job was an easy fix but.... my kitchen lights were out and I wasn't looking to give my self an electrical "home hair perm" with a DIY attempt. I called, and they were at my home within an hour - WOW! The electrician went straight to work. He had my lights back on in about 15 minutes (I had a bad switch). He asked if there was any other electrical items I'd like him to inspect since I had paid for the service call & one hour of labor so I had him check my breaker box which checked out fine. He worked quickly, efficiently, and had my problem fixed in no time. I wouldn't hesistate to recommend them and would call on them again should the need arise.

Devine Electric was very responsive, sending a technician out the same day I called. The technician was very professional and knowledgeable, isolating each outlet and switch on the troublesome circuit to find a ground fault that was causing the breaker to keep tripping. The technician resolved the problem quickly and efficiently. I have relied on Devine Electric before, and my experience has always been that they are responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. Very pleased.

Went well. Was quick and professional. Provided itemized list of what needed to be done and how much it would cost.

Overall the work quality was very good. However we purchased a big deal which was $99 for $200 worth of serves. The provider charged an additional $199 on top which we thought we high for what was requested.

I was pleased with the service. They were easy to work with, prompt and very careful about cleaning up behind themselves, make sure that there was nothing left behind.

Because this overhead bucket light had an LED lamp installed that had starting flickering and suddenly failed, it was particularly troublesome to diagnose cause with high degree of confidence. The tech tried extending the center tine in the socket first (it was compressed), but that failed before he was satisfied with the repair, so he continued to troubleshoot the problem and analyze for root cause (LED bulbs have complex AC to DC conversion circuitry with temperature/overload detection circuitry that makes analysis sometime complex). Replacing the overhead bucket socket and rewiring direct connections to AC source fixed the issue reliably- repair has worked consistently for over a week with no issue. Very good/thorough work.

They were fantastic. They fixed an outlet for me. They were on time and the job was done correctly.

Called Jessie on Monday, although I had done business with them once before, I wasn't in their system. He was polite, worked with my schedule and scheduled my service for Friday at 8am. Friday at 8:10 I called because no one had arrived - had to get my son early to camp to be home in time AND had a critical work meeting at 9am, so I needed someone there in time to discuss work before my call started. Got a call at 8:16, technician in route and ~30 minutes away. I explained my situation, he said he'd come as quickly as possible but traffic was bad so he wasn't sure he'd make it. He told me '8:00' usually means between 8-9, but that's not what I was told. He arrived at 8:56 . . .just enough time to run him upstairs, show him the fans, and make it to my call. He was very quiet and polite. Bought the 2 hour deal, took 2.5 hrs so was prorated at the full rate for the extra half hour. That was fine, however, there was a $29 fuel surcharge on my bill. I was not told there would be one (would not have purchased the deal and there wasn't one the last time I used them), he said "didn't they tell you?" Well no, they didn't. He quickly said he'd take it off the bill. In the end he asked, well aren't you happy with the work, and I said I was (I am, work is good, experience not so great). Not terrible, just not a good experience.
