Gary was the electrician that worked on the job. He was polite and did a good job. He put a chandelier in our living room that previous contractors had said it was impossible to do. They came several times and were on time. Called once to say he'd be later than the appointed time, which I really appreciated.

Great. Nate nicely focused on customer satisfaction. Ask us good questions.

He came to my house, did the work, left a detailed note and the bill, and left me a message saying the work was done. There are no problems!

They came out and gave a free estimate. We decided to schedule with them and two men showed up (one being the gentleman who gave us the estimate) to do the work. They worked efficiently and cleaned up any mess when they were done. They rechecked their work and gave us instructions on how it all worked. We were even given a larger discount than their Angie's List coupon by being members.

Fantastic. Nathan came early. He looked over the job first and then did it quickly. Very neat, pleasant, and knowledgeable. He explained to me exactly what he was going to do.

Called the company to scheduled an appointment for an estimate to be done. We scheduled it, however, no one ever showed on that day. It would have been nice to at least received a call! Chased David down with multiple phone calls and set another day for an estimate. He showed; however, weeks have passed and I never received an estimate. How ridiculous. He showed up and spent time going over what work was needed and to never follow up after that. That day he claimed that he is so busy...I suppose that gives him the right to just treat customers without any professionalism. With customer service as terrible as that, I hope the work doesn't run out for him. I suppose that's what separates the professional from the rookies.

Our heat went out after Duke had a bad connection at the pole. Everything started working again except for the heat. I called Dan King and said I wasn't sure if it was something they could fix. I wasn't sure if it was electrical or not. They said they could come out an figure it out. They came out and said it was electrical & they couldn't fix it. It was Friday night by this time and we couldn't find anyone who was available until Monday. We decided to join Angie's List and see if we could find someone. They called us back promptly & said they could have someone here in a few hours. Nathan showed up & tried to trace the line back to the old box but it was a maze. He said it would be quicker & thus cheaper to run a line to the new box. He knew his stuff and first made sure that it was not a bad thermostat by hooking the furnace up to an extension cord. The furnace did run so he knew it was a bad circuit. In under 2 hours we had our heat back working after more than two very cold days!

I had an emergency (partial power in the house). I contacted the office # and received voicemail. Left a message on voicemail and contacted the emergency # left on the voicemail. After 2 attempts, call not returned.

Easy contact with David Long, and the installer was great.

My son normally takes care of minor electrical jobs around the house, but two bathrooms had very old square electrical boxes that would not allow for easy installation of newly purchased fixtures. I called David Long Electrical after finding their name through Angie's List, and they had someone out the same day. They installed new round electrical boxes and hung the light fixtures. They were polite, competent, and cleaned up before they left. I was pleased with their service and would call them again for a job too complex for my son.

They were able to get the light in and they did a very good job. The other companies didn't think it could be done but David Long Electrical was able to.

They appeared within the time window promised and did an adequate job.

Well. I originally contacted David Long for work that I needed done on the side of my house where the electrical riser had been pulled partially off the wall by work Duke Power was doing on the trees. The first appointment to even look at the problem was after the date another electrician I called (Saye Electrical) could do the work, but as I had just replaced my roof (Hollingsworth roofing) I needed someone to hook up the roof vent so I kept the appointment. The David Long electrician showed up on time and worked diligently all morning, installing a ceiling fan in my spare bedroom (something I'd been meaning to do for months) and hooking up the roof vent. He was polite, worked hard and explained several things to me related to why it was taking time to do certain things.

Gary Lewis came out the same day I called and repaired the socket well enough to reset the circuit breaker.

Very honest but pricing was a bit steep, $90 an hour.

The two workers were great. They showed up on time and worked very hard while they were here.

Gary was on time. Actually, he was several minutes early. He listened attentively to me describe the electrical problems we'd been having. He did extensive checking for us on our wiring problems, offered inexpensive solutions, and fixed a broken switch and loose wire. He was at our house about 1 1/2 hours. Very professional.

The first visit was to provide an estimate for the two jobs described. An attempt was made to relocate the range outlet on this call but the appliance still could not be pushed back far enough. In the process, the relocated outlet was partially dislodged from the wall and the range plug partially removed from the outlet. It was decided that a flush-mount outlet was required, and it was agreed that an estimate would be emailed for both jobs. Charge for this call was a service call of $87 less the 10% coupon, with nothing being resolved. On the second visit, both jobs were completed with some concession made to offset the initial service call with a balance of $30 for the range outlet. The work was done professionally and neatly. I was pleased with the overall quality of the work. David was easy to work with in rescheduling, resolving the issue of cost and completing the project. Gary and Nate were professional and prompt.

It took awhile to get on the schedule (they are very busy) but it was worth the wait. Electrician was knowledgeable and was able to do all the work we requested, and was able to let us know what wiring in our house was done correctly and what was not. Quality work. Will definitely hire again.

The electrician arrived 15 minutes early & was very polite. He completed the work efficiently & checked on a couple of extra items that I had questions about. He did not rush & was willing to answer any questions. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again.

He was prompt professional. He called right back and was on time. He corrected the problem in a timely manner.

Nate arrived exactly on time and began "problem solving" checking the simple and most obvious and working towards what could have been a more involved problem. Within a very short period of time, he discovered a breaker switch that was not quite in contact that was causing the problem. He had already checked all of the breaker switches once, but returned to the breaker box again and took the face plate off to check it more thoroughly. He could have made a simple problem "look" like a more involved one, but his "diagnosis" was obviously guided by his honesty and a high level of professionalism. I have remodeling work scheduled for the near future and I hope that David Long Electrical will be available to do the work. Having a company that you can trust is INVALUABLE! A great experience.

Very polite on the phone. Said they would arrive at 8am. Someone was there at 7:55am. Very polite and very professional. I would recommend them and use them again.

Gary was on time, efficient, polite, cleaned up the area very well. Everything looks nice. He didn't have a white switch cover to match my others so put up a beige one, but said that he would bring a white one out when they come to do the other jobs I asked him to quote for me while he was here. We plan to have them back soon to do the additional items we want--we are spacing them out due to budget.
