Gary was courteous and efficient and did not mind that I purchased my own dimmer switches to save on the parts.

I was very pleased with this service and am planning on using them again to install the motion lights. They were all very nice and professional. I would recommend this company to any and everyone. They were outstanding.

The service was excellent! We were initially given a time of a few hours until help would arrive, but the company arrived in a quarter of that time frame. Both gentlemen were polite, friendly and hard-working, and the problem was quickly found and repaired. The repair took about an hour, and everything worked fine!

They responded to my call promptly. Did the estimate and set a date to do the work. They were on time and worked efficently. When the power was cut over they were on the job and completed the work promptly.

David was great, he arrived at the schedule time, called before to confirm and did the work at a very reasonable price. Further, when he realized he didn't have the right equipment on his truck, he ran down to the local home improvement store to purchase what he needed. (In the past, we've experienced the opposite from electricians. If it's not on the truck they would want to reschedule). After completing the work he gave us an estimate for 6 high-hats, plus a dimmer at $125 each. A reasonable price. We will definitely use David again.

They gave us an estimate that was over $600 more than another top electrician on this list.

I do not know how this contractor has gotten so many glowing reviews from Angie's List members. David was unable to show up for our estimate. Gary was very nice, looked everything over, and said that he would review with David who would get back to us within a week or so. Well, two weeks passed, I called, no response. Another week passed, another call, another no response. Another week passed, another call, another no response. Not even a call to let me know that he is working on it and it is coming. Just no return call. If this is how he treats a quote, then there is no way I would ever trust him to do any sort of electrical work on my house. I guess he is just too busy to bother quoting every job.

On time, very nice. Price was very high. Received estimate from another highly rated electrical service recommended from the Spa seller. Price was less than half the estimate from David Long.

I liked the fact that I made a phone call and they resolved my problem quickly. A little dissapointed in the price but of how quick the job was finished I think the price was fair.

David Long called the night before to clarify my work order, state when the worker would arrive, and ensured the worker had the supplies he needed. Electrician arrived on time and did the work very well. It took 5 hours to do the above; I thought it might take longer. He offered to do the clean up; however, I cleaned up after him, as I would rather do it than pay him electrician wages to do it. I was very happy with his work. We ran into a few issues for which I had to make decisions. He explained each issue very well and did not rush me. I am very happy and would definitely use this company again.

Friendly first contact with office, scheduled appointment within 1 week to fit my schedule. Completed project to our satisfaction.

It was not a good experience. I asked him to give me a price before doing the work, but they did the work before we agreed to the price.

The technician was Gary Lewis. He did a great job.

The experience with this company was great. We called on a Wednesday and explained that we had a somewhat urgent matter and they were able to come out the very next day. The gentleman was friendly, very knowledgeable, and got the work done quickly. They called to say they were coming, and they arrived exactly on time. Very happy with their service.

Nate was very courteous, and gave great advice on where and how the recessed lighting would look, and be more efficient in the 2 rooms. He was very friendly, hardworking and efficient. Kept house cleaned, and cleaned up after himself. the fast response and professionalism was a rare treat.

David was extremely responsive and did a very thorough job. We were very impressed with the new panel and the speed in which he got it done. He finished the job in one afternoon and was able to get an inspector out that day for approval so we could get our power turned back on. What happened next, we couldn't believe - the power company screwed up and didn't turn our power back on until 2:00 AM. I'm 7 months pregnant and it was almost 90 degrees in the house. After midnight the power company informed us they didn't get the inspection number, so we had no choice but to call David for help. AMAZINGLY he answered the phone, went online and got the permit number and we did a conference call with David and he supplied the power company with the permit number that they SHOULD have already had. We were so thankful to him for everything - not only did HE do a great job, but at midnight he picked up the phone and did THEIR JOB as well. He then called the next morning to make sure we were fine.

Contacted the company from an Angie's List Referral - scheduled an appointment. Technician's arrived when expected. They diagnosed the issue with the surging electrical outlet that had been disrupting the computer server. We decided to install a dedicated outlet just for the server in order to eliminate the problem. Technicians stayed several hours late on a Friday in order to finish the job - they left the area neat and clean and vacuumed up the drywall residue before they left - very good company.

We called for service on Friday and Gary came out at about 1PM on Saturday, well within the window we'd been given. Within 15 minutes he'd located the problem and fixed it. He was polite, professional, and didn't mind my shadowing him. Kept up a good banter which I enjoyed -- actually learned a few things.

THE OWNER DID GIVE A DISCOUNT, BUT THEY WERE STILL VERY EXPENSIVE. THE OWNER ONLY SENT 1 MAN OUT FOR A 2 MAN JOB. THE GUY THAT CAME OUT WORKED VERY SLOW. HE CUT A HOLE THAT WAS TOO BIG FOR THE WALL OUTLET AND NOW THE COVER DOES NOT COVER THE ENTIRE HOLE. I AM GOING TO HAVE SOME SHEET ROCK WORK DONE TO CORRECT THIS WORK. THIS COMPANY DID NOT OFFER TO FIX THE HOLE. I WOULD NOT USE HIM AGAIN. WHEN I CALLED THE OWNER TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE WORK, THE OWNER HAD A BAD ATTITUDE AND BASICALLY TOLD ME THAT I WAS ESSENTIALLY THE FIRST COMPLAINT HE HAS EVER RECEIVED. HE SPENT THE ENTIRE CONVERSATION, UNTIL I CALLED HIM ON IT, DEFENDING HIS EMPLOYEE. HIS EXCUSE WAS THAT "EVERYONE HAS A BAD DAY SOMETIMES."

I contacted David Long Electrical based on their high Angie's List rating. I spoke with a representative right away, and was able to get the work scheduled in a timely fashion. On the appointed day, the electrician (Nate) showed up promptly at 8:30 (the designated time) and completed the work in about 90 minutes. Nate listened to what I wanted done, and then suggested an alternative that actually worked out better. He was professional and courteous, and respectful of my home. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and the prompt manner in which it was handled. I would certainly call them again for future electrical work.

I called to get an estimate and was told the hourly rate and scheduled an appointment for the following week. The day of the appt I got a call and was given an estimate based on my description of the job. It was within my price range, so I asked when they would be able to do the work and they said they could keep the appt for that day. Nate arrived and was courteous and professional as he did the work. I did not fill out a report at the time, since he'd provided the wiring for the fan but it wasn't installed and I wanted to wait until it was in and working. He left the work area in the attic neat and clean. I installed the fan and hooked it up and it's working fine. Overall I was pleased with Nate and David Long Electrical and the service they provided.
