We called the company and they sent someone out that day, and they were able to do the job that day. They did a great job and were very reasonable in their charges.

David returned my call within 5 minutes and was at the house 90 minutes later. He discovered that the problem was on the power company's end, and only charged me for the after-hours trip. He very kindly helped us figure out how to plug in the refrigerator, was kind, professional and just fantastic. I will call him for all of my future electrical needs!

It went good. I called them after hours and they were very agreeable to coming out to my home. They came out promptly. The guy was neat, professional, and cordial.

They were professional but the price was really high. The president of the company seemed to be going off what the electrician said and not we thought. We got another bid that was much cheaper -- about $4,500.

He did an excellent job. He was clean, polite and thorough. He did the job well and to my satisfaction. Terry was a very nice guy and I was really happy with the work he did.

The man that came was very nice and knowledgeable and knew exactly what he was talking about. I would recommend him and use him again. I was comfortable with him in my home.

I had a great experience with this company. I called and made an appointment with Vicki who was very helpful and friendly. I asked that the electrician call me when he was en route to my home. They did so. Terry, the electrician, arrived on time, assessed the situation, told me what he would do and proceeded to do it. He was very professional and friendly. He finished up quickly and cleaned up after himself before he left.

He was very prompt. He was the lowest of the three quotes I received.

The crew was on time and knew what they were doing. We have an older home (1960) and found out when they came that we did not have a grounded service. They installed a new grounded service and then rewired the portions of the house where the wiring got wet in the flood as we needed. They cleaned up after themselves and were friendly. Overall went well.

My experience with them was great. They came out and fixed the problem. I would recommend them to other people and use the again in the future.

Came out to perform an estimate for repairing exhaust fan and replace two very high outside flood lights. They found a nest of squirrels in the attic and advised immediate removal before they could work on the fan. They replaced the floods which were extremely difficult to reach due to the height and tree by the house and did an excellent job. We will have them back in the Spring to finish the work on the fan. They were very punctual and responsive and could very well have prevented a fire in our attic from the fan being blocked with leaves that the squirrels had jammed in there. They were not high pressure and just charged the service call rate that they had promised.

Showed up at 8:00 am, as planned, completed project and cleaned up afterward.

They are very good. They are extremely helpful and always very prompt. They don't waste any time, they get in and get the job done, and get out. If they have any suggestions about things that I can do to save money, they are very good about that as well.

Gary showed up on time and took about 2 hours to deal with both jobs. He had to run a new phone line into the office and he had to replace the ballast in the kitchen light.

They were very good. They worked very quickly and they finished everything in less than hour. They were extremely responsive on the phone and they followed up with us. They brought two people to work for us. They were very punctual. They had excellent prices and they worked extremely fast.

David Long himself came by ahead of time to talk with us about what needed to be done. We had a lot of questions about what we thought might be serious problems with our wiring. He asked questions, made suggestions, and generally alleviated our fears about the extent of work that would need to be done. Work was scheduled quickly, and the electrician, Terry, worked at the house for nearly two days. He ran into several problems that required longer than expected, but he had all the tools and materials to correct them. He even had to cut part of the cabinetry to get the drop-in stove installed, but you would never know. He was good about telling us what he was doing, and warning us when he had to cut the power for one part of the house or another.

I was really thrilled. They arrived on time and gave me an estimate of $3,500.00 and I told them I found them on Angie's List. They said the total would be $3,400.00 for the electrical system to be upgraded to 220. Electrical installer came on time, was neat and efficient and finished before I thought he would. Everyone I talked with was very helpful and conscientious.

The electrician came out to the house on time as promised but when he checked out the panel, he said that they did not carry that brand any more. He then left me with a bill for $89. I called Vicky and said I was surprised that they came out to the house without checking the manufacturer and determining that they did not carry their parts any longer. It would have saved me $89. She confirmed to me that she did take that information from me on the initial call and would get back to me concerning the $89 invoice. She did call the next day and apologized for the mistake and destroyed the check at my request. I see why they have such a good rating with Angie's List. In the future I will consider using David Long Electrical.

Our house was built in 1955 and had a lot of issues including the electrical system, we are in the process of remodeling and this was one of the items that needed attention. Chad and Terry were great always prompt and courteous. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

The receptionist was very polite on the phone and easily worked around my schedule for the appointment. We wanted the electrician to install a new cable jack and hook up cable service in our bonus room. Two men came to do the job. They were punctual and courteous. They were trying to splice the cable that services the bedroom. It did not work. The electrician said that he tried a few different ways, but he thought the signal was not strong enough. He said that I would need to call the cable company to come out and service the line. The line was working and had been working for 7 years. We had a clear signal. When the electricians left, the bedroom TV had very few channels and the picture was fuzzy. We were unable to DVR our programs. The receptionist from David Long called me the next day to see what happened with the cable company--that was good. Unfortunately, we were leaving on vacation two days later and the cable company could not get us on the schedule before we left. When the cable guy came out the following week, he said that the DVR box that we have in our bedroom needs to have its own line--you can't splice it without losing proper service. I called the David Long company back to let them know what happened with cable and see if they could come out to finish the job. I asked how much it would be. The receptionist said it would be $129 per hour (if two guys came out) plus materials. She checked with David Long on the price to see if he would charge less for me, since the job was not completed the first time. She called back and said that they would charge me $129 total to complete the job, but she was unable to get me on the schedule for another 3 weeks. Meanwhile, I had called the cable company and they said they would charge me $39.95 to complete the job. So, I told the receptionist that I would hire the cable company to come out and finish the job.

I was hoping they would upgrade the breaker or the wiring, but all he did was tell us to move the microwave to take it off of that circuit. He did put a breaker in the fuse box that was bigger than the original breaker. He was nice and came the day we called. I would probably call him again but I would make sure I had a $100 worth of work to do.

Their electrician, Gary, and his helper did an excellent job on both jobs. They were punctual and polite, and very intent on doing a good job. The exterior job, in particular, was difficult, since our house sits on a steep slope, so the some of the lights they were installing were quite far above the ground. However, that did not seem to cause them any problems. The cost of the jobs seemed a little high, but that didn't concern me too much, given the quality of the work.

Operator was very nice and thorough. She made sure that she knew exactly what you needed. They were exactly on time, friendly and courteous. Worked diligently. Gary was the technician and has had 28 years of electrical experience.

He came out promptly and diagnosed the problem. He then suggested what would likely be involved in replacing a defective well pump and suggested a few specialists in well pump replacements. He was very cordial and informed the owner about everything that he did and how he diagnosed the problem.

They are very timely. They worked fast as far as getting someone to our house, they came out last minute. They are very personable and willing to do whatever was necessary to do things right. Overall he did a very good job.
