Description of Work: We replaced a cultured marble guest bathroom dual vanity with a beautiful quartz. Price included two rectangular sinks but did not include plumbing hookup as we already had a contractor doing work for us and he was to install new bathroom hardware.

Description of Work: We needed a new vanity in our guest bathroom. The former owners had entirely different tastes than we do. The vanity they had was tiny and not good for overnight guests to place things on or in. So we decided to get a new one. At first, we were going to buy a ready made. I spent hours looking for an off-set sink on the right that would work in our spot. Nada. Then we went to a place in Charlotte where they wanted $2500 for a small vanity with an offset sink. Our budget didn’t really allow for that much money for a small vanity. Then we went online. We could get one for $1500-1800 if we tried, but getting an offset sink was nearly impossible. The very few (3?) that were available were not our style. Then we spoke to Scott McArthur at www.dovetailedclassics.com who quoted us a very reasonable price for a custom-made vanity. When we looked at the price of countertops online and added it to Scott’s price, we realized that we could get a custom, well-built vanity for about the price we could get one online. But this way we’d know it was quality, as well as get exactly what we wanted. Then came the search for the countertop. It became more and more of a problem trying to find someone online or at a big box store who could cut it the way we needed it cut. The way the plumbing was coming in, the width of the vanity, the depth of it, were all creating a perfect storm of, “this isn’t going to work.” We were going to have to install it ourselves, and depending upon where we ordered it from, it could take up to ten weeks! Finally, Scott suggested we go to a local granite place.

Description of Work: They installed Granite counters onto 3 cabinets 2 included the sinks.

Description of Work: They removed a bath countertop and installed a new granite countertop and backsplash. They were helpful in granite selection and were prompt and courteous during the project. They didn't leave me a big mess to clean up, like other workers have done in the past. They also set up the plumber to come the next day to install the new faucet. Their pricing was fair and there were no surprise extra charges at the end. The counter looks great. We will definately recommend them to others and will use them again if we have the need.

Description of Work: I contacted the provider by email on 7/9. I left both my cell phone number and email address. I requested a quote and briefly outlined the service needed. It is a small job; perhaps they felt that it was too small for them. I have had not contact at all from the provider.

Description of Work: Installed granite counter tops in kitchen. They were punctual and thorough. Sales rep, Carla, was most helpful. Took us to the local granite and marble importers. Also provided granite backsplash up to the cabinets. They also installed new composite sink and gas cooktop with downdraft. We provided the sink and cooktop. And the job required 3 slabs of granite. And you really have to look hard to find the seams.
