Description of Work: My husband and I were referred to Mr. Curcio by our real estate agent. After buying a home we discovered a crack in our Master Bathroom shower. We contacted Angelo to come over and determine whether it could be repaired or needed to be replaced. After examining it, he indicated that it should be replaced because it was improperly installed. We discussed the many options for handling the shower including tile work .We also consulted with him on other potential projects in the house including cabinets and flooring. We asked Angelo if he could provide references and pictures of his work. When he didn't respond, we contacted him again. He advised that he was "walking away" from our job because we had asked for pics and references and he "doesn't operate that way." He said he gets business by word of mouth and that our agent's word should be good enough. Everything I have read about selecting a contractor, including information given on the NC Attorney General's website, indicates you should ask for references, as well as copies of licenses and insurance. I believe any contractor worth his salt should be able to provide this information and not be offended by the request.

I have been (member name removed) bookkeeper and secretary for the last thirty years. During that time I have written several lists of references for him... With the list of references, addresses of the projects are also given.. He doesn't take photos of his work but will provide references and addresses upon request.

I cannot recommend him highly enough for the quality of his work and the finished the product. He has also done extensive roofing repair for us in the past.
Description of Work: He has performed a variety of jobs for me, most recently adding a bar style table between two rooms and redoing the front steps.
