Description of Work: At first I was pleased. I paid $49 each for 2 air conditioner cleaning and overall checkup and it included 1 lb of refrigerant. But the technician could not fix one unit and did not put in the coolant. I had him come back to out it in but the motor stopped completely. He then quoted me extremely high costs for a new motor ($540.00) and I wa sable to get it from trane for ($120) and also quoted me a very high price for a float safety switch ($218.00) and I got that for about $20. He also quoted me to repair other parts of the system and of course encouraged me to just get a new system. When he came out the second time I watched him remove the cover for the electrical wires and noticed that a wire was not even connected. I'm not sure if he left this unconnected from his first trip but it seemed suspicious to me.
