+ -1 moreI have been talking with them about this project for the last couple of weeks, but have not done anything with them yet. Chris Woodhouse was the gentleman who did the quote and I was very impressed with the way they do things. Chris was very upfront and gave me a detailed cost estimate. They broke out every piece of labor and material individually so that I could pick and choose what I wanted to do. They were very professional. The only thing I don't give them top marks for is prompt follow up. It has been a week since I last had a response from Chris. I don't know if he is on vacation, or what.
Description of Work: I have been trying to get a quote from them for 1,000 square feet of blown attic insulation and to put in about 70 baffles in my rafters. They also quoted putting in an attic vent and doing air sealing to, basically, fill the gaps between my ceiling so that air could not be pulled into the attic.

+ 3 moreBrian was easy to work with and was very flexible with the work. For Example Brian was contracted to install laminate flooring as I had hoped to complete the painting myself. I couldn't even start the painting when Brian showed up to install the floor. I asked Brian to give me an estimate on adding the paint job to the project and he promptly gave me a reasonable estimate and rescheduled the entire job. It was a huge help that Brian was flexible and multi-talented in other skills. He was easy to deal with and provided appropriate updates when I was not able to be there. There also a few jobs that I needed done that I offered to Brian, but he was honest that he didn't feel comfortable in handling them. This is also admirable in that he knew what he could do and didn't over commit beyond his capabilities. I would hire Brian again without hesitation.
Description of Work: Installed hardwood floor, painted 5 rooms, repaired flashing around chimney and other misc. jobs.

Description of Work: Removed and reset gate posts to assure gate opens and closes smoothly, removed and reset fence posts on one side of fence that was leaning, built new section of fence to form containing wall around electrical boxes, separating them from interior of back yard.

+ 1 moreA great experience. He arrived exactly when he said he would and gave us a detailed estimate. Work was completed ahead of schedule. He cleaned up all debris. The fence looks super. In fact, he did too good a job because my wife is compiling a list of her "projects" which she wants Brian to start tackling. (The fence is going to end up costing me a lot!).
Description of Work: Rebuilt my split rail fence. Included demolition and hauling away the old one and erecting a new one. Also replaced a post light.
