What an outstanding experience!!! From our first meeting with Jimmy Sinopoli we hit it off. We replaced the upstairs landing/hall carpet with LVT flooring and new carpet the stairs. What a difference. Carolina Flooring was on time, neat, friendly and did an outstanding installation job. Would recommend them hands down.

Approx. an hour prior to scheduled installation I got a call form Jimmy informing me they do not have the correct carpet. This was not welcomed news as we had the room emptied in preparation for the install. More carpet had to be ordered, new install date set for the following week. I asked for a discount for the inconvenience but was told that they had to pay for the incorrect carpet that was sent so they could not pass on a discount. On day of install, 2 men arrived at my door. I opened the door and they said nothing. One was on his cell phone on a personal call. I had to say "oh are you here for the carpet install"? I think I got a grunt or something. I led them to the room with the guy still on a personal call. There was no conversation regarding how the furniture was going to be moved. I assumed they would put it in the eating area or the living room which I had cleared for that very purpose. Instead, all of my furniture was moved into my kitchen and my $8,000 mattress was leaned up against my dirty stove, touching a bottle of ketchup my son had left on the counter. I was livid. The kitchen was not accessible for the duration of the install. I'm glad I had grabbed some breakfast before they arrived because I couldn't get to the kitchen until after 1 pm. Jimmy did not follow up on the day of the install, which is something I think is very important for an owner or manager to do. I had to call him to find out how to pay the balance. After the job was completed, the installers were very nice to move the furniture back into different positions for me and even helped me put a bed skirt on the bed. The carpet looked great. Unfortunately I was overall, very disappointed with the service. I specifically went to a small independent dealer to get excellent service. They really fell short.

Jim came over and provided recommendations on how we should proceed with our insurance company before we even discussed what work to be done. Once we had the initial water damage fixed I called Jim back and asked him to complete the work. He helped with the color and had the work done in a very timely manner that met our families needs. He came back after the work was completed and helped identify a few areas that needed some extra work and that was all completed in a matter of days. We were very happy with the quality of the work and finish that we are enjoying now in what feels like a fresh new home.

This was a great carpet buying experience. We are extremely happy with the results as we were not looking forward to all the disruption. Dealing with Randee Sinopoli to select a carpet that fit our needs was extremely easy. Randee made the difference in making this an easy and great purchase. Picking carpet in your own home to match colors and style was easy and provided us with a great match to our decor. Installation was handled by two highly experienced carpet installers who moved all the furniture, cleaned the bare floors before installing the new carpet and vacuumed everything when they were done. Also there was no nickle and dime charges like some of the stores we looked at. One price. No hidden charges and very competative pricing. It was a great experience.

Carolina Flooring and Carpet had the best price of 3 companies with estimates. They were professional and courteous. Their customer service was impeccable - returned phone calls, followed up with additional information, and the installers showed up on time on the agreed upon date. The installers were friendly, professional, and very efficient. I would highly recommend using Carolina Flooring and Carpet over all the others. This is our 2nd time using them, and we plan on using them again when we remodel another part of our house.

Randee and her crew did an excellent job on both refinishing, adding new hardwoods and replacing all carpet. The crew arrived right on time and went straight to work. They only took one break for lunch. We were impressed by how quickly they worked. Randee Sinopoli is fantastic! Our experience with her has been superb. Randee was very quick to reach out and setup an appointment once I contacted her. She came to our house numerous times as well as traded many emails to help us find the right floors for our tastes. This was no easy project as we as a couple have completely opposite tastes (think contemporary vs. rustic). Randee was also very aware of our budget and never showed us anything that was above our high end. As for the installers I will say I was very impressed with the carpet guys as they were easy to communicate with and answered all questions that I had. The hardwood installers did a nice job laying the flooring down and were very hard workers. I did have some issue with the toe molding and finish work, but Randee has been on top of things so I have no worries about the finished product. We are having new cabinets installed and Randee's team will be laying down our kitchen floor as well as finishing the powder room, den, and laundry rooms once the cabinets and countertops have been completed. If you're looking for someone who is honest, trustworthy, and caring give Randee a call. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Randee informed us throughout the purchase and installation process so we knew what to expect. The installers arrived on time, were very professional and did an excellent job installing the carpet in 4 rooms and the stairway in our home. The installation included take away of the old carpet and pad and that was included in the total cost. Once the installation was complete, the installers cleaned up and vacuumed all of the carpets leaving our home in move in condition. It was a good experience and Randee followed up with us during the installation to make sure everything was going smoothly. We have confidence knowing that if we encounter any issues that we will know who to call and the issue will be resolved.

After getting a carpet installation quote from Home Depot, I wanted to get pricing from a local business vs a big box store. I found Carolina Flooring via the web. Jim responded quickly and within 1-2 days came to the house with samples and measured the rooms. He offered a good suggestion of using a much lower pile than we originally picked out from Home Depot. Knowing nothing about carpeting, I showed Jim the HD quote including the carpet sample, color, pile, pricing, warranty, etc. Jim professed to be familiar with HD pricing and products and said he could offer a similar product, and that he typically beats their pricing quite easily. He estimated pricing off the top of his head, and left samples with me to review. After reviewing the samples, we opted for a color and carpet type and advised Jim. Jim confirmed his original estimate via text and it was indeed about $300 lower priced than HD. However to this day, I do not know what he installed from a carpet weight, pile, warranty, etc. More on that later... After Jim's initial (and only) visit, things continued to progress quite smoothly. However I did find it odd that most communication (almost all) was done via text message. This includes answering a few questions, their confirmation quote, deposit owed, scheduling, etc, etc. Jim's installer arrived a bit late from the 2hr window, but that was not a big deal to me. He was on the scheduled day and was polite and hard working. There was a minor issue behind a door that he simply overlooked, which he came back and fixed the next day. No problem. A few days after the carpet was installed, I contacted Jim to ask for a formal invoice, warranty info, etc since I had nothing. Jim went from responding to texts within a few minutes / hours during the planning phase, to no responses at all after the work was complete. I left phone messages, emailed and texted. Zero communication back. That's typically not good. I now feel cheated somehow. I feel like he may not have installed what I asked for, no warranty, stain protection, etc since there isn't the proper documentation to back it up. It's not that the work was bad, it wasn't. However I feel that I may not have received a good price for the carpet type installed, with no warranty or anything going forward. UPDATE: Jim contacted me the day after I posted my review and made things right. I have updated this review and would use Jim again in the future.

I selected the company because they were "A" rated and had the best bid at $2,625 initially. The others ranged from around the same to $400 more. Randee was very friendly and offered alot of good advice about what should be done. They were able to do the work fairly quickly within a couple of weeks. I had it scheduled to be completed while I was out of town for five days since you can't walk on the floors for a couple of days. While they were in the middle of doing the work they called me and said they would have to charge me $300 more for wood repair for stains that didn't get buffed out. There wasn't much I could do about it since they were already in the middle of the work. I was disappointed that this wasn't discovered/included in the initial bid as it seems that they should have been known. If included, the bid would have been in line with the others so I'm not sure if they did that to get the job with a lower bid or what but that was very disappointing. The floors look great and I'm very pleased with them.

The team was punctual, thorough and tidy. Not a speck of dust after the job which was amazing considering all the extra mile services they helped with. The whole kitchen was done in about 4 hours, almost exactly the time that was quoted. From beginning to end it lived up to expectations or exceeded hopes. Randee and her crew are the best, and considering that the cost was a 1/3 of the "discount guy", I have no idea why anyone would use some one else for flooring.
