Cabinets by KDS

We met Steve at KDS, picked out what we wanted, and placed the order.  We paid 60% down at the time of order.  The delivery date came and went with no communication.  My wife became frustrated that no one would return her calls, so I started trying to call from work.  After being very persistent I was don't that the cabinets were being held on a truck in Texas and would not be released until funds owed the builder was paid.  Understanding how these things can happen, I thanked them for the information and we continued to wait.  This increased the cost of our project as the tile man and contractor both had to work around the delay - making numerous additional trips.  Finally the cabinets did arrive and was installed.  The faucet holes in the counter top was not drilled according to the diagram.  One of the doors was hung backwards (opening the wrong way), and the cabinet top was too short to cover the end piece - which we still have sitting in our den.  Several days and several phone calls later, we finally got the hardware installed.  This was not a good experience.  I told the receptionist that when the owner was willing to sit down and discuss the issues with me, I would right him a check for the balance.  To date he has not agreed to sit down and discuss the matter with my wife and me, and to date we have not paid the remaining balance owed.  This company is does not communicate once the order is placed and the deposit paid.  Out of more than a dozen calls, not a single promised return call was ever made to my wife or me.  We continue to await Andy's call so that we can sit face to face and resolve the final payment.

Everything was wonderful. We were pleased with the quality of the cabinet. We received a great price. The installers were a pleasure to work with for the project.
