 + 0 moreBrent was very pleasant to deal with initially, but lacked experience. It quickly went downhill! He had a partner helping him, and mid way through the job, the partner quit. It took weeks and weeks for Brent to come back and partially finish the job. At one point, he dug up over $1000 worth of plants that were to be transplanted. He left them out of the ground for several days, during hot weather, and everything died. He refused to reimburse us for these losses and in addition to this, he charged us substantially more than the contracted amount and made wild threats to take us to small claims court if we didn't pay. In the end, we just wanted to be done with this guy, so we paid him, and cut our losses there! His level of unprofessionalism was beyond anything that we had every experienced before. He might be fine for cutting your grass or doing basic maintenance jobs, but that is probably it.
Description of Work: Brent's company installed a block retaining wall, drainage and installed some sod.
