Bulwark Exterminating - Charlotte

Purchased an Angie's special priced home pest treatment. Person arrived as scheduled and treated entire house inside at all opening and all outlets on the exterior walls. Also treated the exterior around the house foundation. Very professional job and I haven't seen any pests since the treatment.

Our technician was on time & very thorough. He took his time &did the job completely. I would definitely use this company again. Mans, wow, great job!

Technician on time, explained services clearly

I bought a Big Deal! offer for pest treatment. I think the normal price is $129. Our experience was mostly positive. The technician came out as scheduled. We asked him prior to starting whether we should move stuff away from walls and areas where he was going to spray and he said it was not necessary. However he sprayed over some of the things we had leaning against the walls in the garage and basement. I had also spoken to someone from Bullwark prior to theappointment and was told that a 10 foot wide barrier would be sprayed around the perimeter of the house. The technician did not do this. My wife was the one who followed him around the house and she was not aware of the treatment regiment. The treatment seems to be working so far. A couple of weeks ago we received a call from an account manager at Bullwark to check on our satisfaction with the services performed. My wife mentioned the issues above. He was apologetic and offered to send a technician out to treat our house again. The technician will be here this week. We are satisfied with Bullwark's handling of the situation and would use their services again.

It went very well and resulting in my purchase of a monthly contract for outside services. The technician arrived a lot later than I'd been told, and apparently he was unaware of the timefrmae I'd been given. But once he arrived he was pleasant, professional and efficient.

This was an Angie's List Big Deal. As soon as I'd bought the deal, Jeff called and tried to sell me an ongoing contract, which was offputting. Maybe round-the-year pest control is something I'll consider down the line, but I wanted to see what the one-time treatment would do and then make up my mind whether to go forward or not. I still would have given Bulwark all A's if they hadn't stood me up for our first appointment. I called and they were confused about why I would have been given that appointment time since there was some company meeting or whatever then. They were all apologies, we set up another time, and I soon got an email from Mario. He showed up on time, was very nice and professional, explained what he was doing, and went about his business spraying in the outside walls via the electrical outlets and treating around the foundation outside. I was half expecting to see lots of dead roaches in the next few days, but we saw very few, maybe 3 or 4. I don't know whether to think the treatment wasn't effective or we just don't have a problem. I know the treatment is supposed to address other insects; we rarely see them as well.

I had been doing my own exterminating for the past year or so, but noticed a few additional critters in the house. I bit the bullet and paid for this service. I'm glad I did . . . while I didn't like seeing bugs coming out to die out after the spraying, it made me realize if they hadn't sprayed, they'd probably be creeping around my house. So - after a couple of days of dying bugs around me . . . all is peaceful again. Glad I hired them. They were very nice. I was concerned about the hard sell I had read about, but didn't experience this myself. I told them I was cash-strapped until next year and they didn't push.

It was excellent. They were on time, and did a very good job.

We are very happy with our quarterly service. They always call ahead of time to let us know when to expect the service. We have had them come out a couple times for specific problems in between services. They always come out within a few days of the call, and it is included in our typical charges.

They did an introduction, ask for an particular issues/concerns, discribed the solution, informed us of process, then completed. Share that if we saw any bugs or had any future concerns they would return. Thanks us, proformed the task, left.

I bought the service with an Angie's List deal. They were punctual, professional, and did the job effectively. He sprayed in and out of the house and installed termite bait canisters outside the house. The next day there were a lot of dead roaches and crickets in our basement so it must have worked.

Don't keep Mike and don't explain what you are going to treat and not do it.

The representative that came out to the house to spray and inspect was very nice and did a good job. Our only issue with this service was the fact that the company initiated future service calls without our permission. We expressed to the technician and the customer service department on 2 occasions before and after the the service was performed that we were only interested in a onetime service and that we would contact them if we needed additional services in the future. However, they scheduled follow-up treatment anyway without our permission and sent us a bill. We promply called the customer service again and reminded them that we did not ask for follow-up treatment and to please void the service and the bill. They complied.

They have been great! They came out shorty after we purchased the deal for the first treatment. They are very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly.

The technician arrived in a timely manner and was professional to work with. The pest control treatment was performed inside and outside the house. Standard spray outside. For inside, the spray was not continuous but only on certain spots (mostly corners of the rooms). The description mentioned about treatment through electrical outlets: only 5-6 outlets were treated with chemical. Was given assurance to call the company anytime in next 90 days in case of any bugs. Over all satisfied with the treatment.

It use to go great but over the last several months both service and customer service has been terrible.

Service was performed at the specified time. Serviceman was courteous and performed work efficently. Have not seen a centipede since the service, but still see small spiders. I was told prior to treatment that the spiders would take more than one treatment, so we'll be patient!

The Technician arrived on time and completed his job in approximately 45 minutes. He was courteous and took the time to explain the work he performed as well as the expected results. He finished by asking us to call him if we find any insects in the house at any time within the next 90 days.

We were looking for a reasonable pest control company where we would not have to chase them down and make sure the service was being performed well. Bulwark offered us more frequent service for a better price than a couple of other companies we talked to, and they assured us that we would be on a schedule they were accountable for following and would advise us when services were being completed/were completed. We also initiated a termite inspection, because it had been a few years. Termites were discovered at the early stages in our garage. We got one other quote to compare to the treatment/price Bulwark and validate the extent of the problem, and we found Bulwark's quote to be better and the treatment more on point for the problem we had. We've been very please with both the ongoing regular pest control work and the termite treatment work. We've both interacted with the company and find them to be pleasant and responsive, despite a bit of a delay making contact when we first inquired about service. After living in the Charlotte area for 5 years now and using at least a couple other companies during that time, it's nice to know we have one company that is reasonable and we can trust to call whenever there is a problem - but that we probably won't have one!

The initial visit was good but only half of their service was completed due to the rain. I actually had to call them back for the 2nd half of the service which I thought was going to be done the next week but wasn't. The original day they were out there, I signed up for one full year. Then there was almost 3 months of not hearing from them or receiving service. Somehow, their "system" got messed up and forgot about me. Luckily, they didn't bill me either but the bugs came back. After this experience, everything has been fine and their service team was great on all follow up calls. I guess this is why I only rated them a B overall so far.

It went very well with the technician arriving promptly at the appointed time. He proceeded to explain what his service would entail, which was spraying all rooms of the hose around the base boards and windows and door thresh holds. He also explained that the solution used on the exterior of the house was an industrial strength. When he was finished, I showed him a hornets nest, which he told me inactive and removed for me. I also was concerned that there might be a dead animal or rodent in the garage because of a foul odor. The technician helped me move some items around and he searched under the freezer to determine that there was nothing dead in the garage and suggested that the odor was probably caused by the freezer being inadvertently shut off for a few day a couple of weeks prior. When the technician was finnished he urged me to contact the company with any worries or problems I had concerning his visit that day.

Great! We have a quarterly contract with Bulwark, but one day woke up to find 6 wasps in the great room. They came out within a few hours, and treated the whole outside of the house, plus let us know that likely the real problem was the chimney. The visit was free, as we are under contract with them. They were very responsive, and very helpful.

Arrived at a later date than I had written down. It was set up for 4pm for the first house 19003 Kailua Cir and 4:30pm for the second house at 19005 Kailua Cir. The second house was not on his schedule and he had no record of it. The technician arrived at 5:30pm His work sheet indicated 5:00pm and only one house. With the holiday traffic it was not a problemand understanable. The mix up must have been in the office. Techincian was very friendly and seemed to perform his job well. I did get a call from the office the next business day, but could not make out he phone # in the message. I left town and got another call from the office the next week but have not returned call as of yet. Travel for a living so scheduling is diffiicult. Gate was left open and dogs got out the next mornig. They are old so they did not get far. They were wanderng back home when we found them. Over all I would use there service again. Mainly because of the friendlyness of the technician

They did a very good job and my bugs are gone!!!
