Bulwark Exterminating - Charlotte

We set up a time for them to come out but after waiting an hour over the time they were supposed to be at my house I called the office to ask where they were and they said I wasn't in the system, so I decided to not use the big deal.

When he came out, my wife was here walking around checking his work. He was upset that she was checking his work, he had an attitude since it was the end of the day and he was in a hurry. They tried to call and set up another service call about 4 months later and we declined.

Showed up on time and provided the service as agreed.

Tech arrived early, went right to work, and finished in a timely manner. He was very pleasant and helpful. Shortly after he left, the Termite Inspector arrived to do his inspection (as required by our home lender). We were in a time crunch with our lender, so were very pleased that this company was so accommodating to our needs.

They're a very good company and we'll likely stay with them. We always see a difference after they spray. They're very good about answering our questions.

The lawn looks healthy and green. No issues so far. Like the service of this company.

Arrived on time, asked what pests i was having issues with, how he was going to treat the house and protect against a variety of pests guaranteed for a period of 60 days. Very professional and courteous. Would recommend.

I purchased a $68 deal through Angie's list for Bulwark-Exterminating. The deal promised a guarantee to get rid of any pest problem. Bulwark treated my house twice to try and eliminate an ant infestation. During the first treatment, I provided the exterminator with the Angies List voucher for the deal. Both treatments were unsuccessful, so I decided to move on to another provider. I didn't even try to hold Bulwark responsible for their "guarantee". About a month later I received an invoice from Bulwark for $68. I called Bulwark and they apologized for the error, assuring me that the problem had been taken care of in their computer system. 30 days later I received another invoice for $68. Once again I had to call the company about this issue, and once again they apologized. Two weeks ago I received a "Final Notice" from Bulwark, stating that my account balance of $68 was severely past due, and that they would be turning my account over to a collections agency if the bill was not paid within 14 days. I called Bulwark once again and was hung up on, so a second call had to be placed. For the third time, Bulwark apologized and said that they were taking care of the issue. Unfortunately, with my credit score on the line I don't have any trust in Bulwark and have had to purchase a credit monitoring service in case they mistakenly report me to a collections agency. I've had a terrible experience with Bulwark in all facets of the encounter, and really wish that I never have to deal with the company again.

We had a very satisfactory experience. They were very nice and did a great job. They were at the home for about an hour.

I guess it was all right. I purchased it and they set up a date. I never did hear back from anybody. I went past that date so I finally called them directly. I told them I bought the package and then they responded to that. I was not overly impressed with them at all. It was a big deal purchase. There was no additional cost. The price was fine. This was a house I just purchased and I was moving into it so it was preventive. I just purchased the service for maintenance. It was nothing special. The bad part was I actually had to call them to get the appointment time. I don’t really think they had me on the list at all. I finally had to call them to get the appointment set up. It was not a total bad experience but it was not necessarily a good experience. Once the date was set up they were right on time. The gentleman was very nice and very professional.

It took me atleast 4 or 5 calls to get them to schedule the service. It looked like the service provider had subcontracted this to another small time provider. The 3rd time I called them up, they said oh for Angies list you have to talk to another company or something to that effect. Did not treat my crawl space..was a rip off and sub standard servicing.

Signed up for the coupon on Angie's List. Tech (think his name was John) showed up on time and was very friendly, courteous, and professional. We had a bad wasp problem and have seen very few since the spraying.

It was $69 originally, and then they charged $69 every two months. They are not finished now but we don’t have any evidence of bugs now, so I am very happy with them. They are very careful, when they come into your house and they cover their shoes. They are very nice people. I have been very satisfied with them. They have complied with anything they said they were going to do.

Prompt and on time arrival - second complimentary visit for a very stubborn ant problem I have.

I found Bulwark Exterminating through Angie's List where they have an "A" rating and a Super Service Award. They deserve both! When investigating a ceiling leak we discovered ants in the attic. After checking with Angie, I sent a service request to this company on a Saturday. They responded by phone on Monday morning; scheduled the work for Thursday at 5. The tech, Rich W., showed up promptly and was very organized, professional and personable. He climbed into the attic (not an easy feat with the access location) to have a look around then explained exactly what he would do and how the treatment would work to solve my problem. After finishing in the attic he stopped to tell me what he would do through the rest of the house and around the perimeter of the exterior....then got right to work. I'm on a fixed income and loved that I didn't get ANY pressure to go with a contract though it was suggested as a good idea should my circumstances change. I'm relatively new to the Charlotte area, but know I don't have to spend another minute ever looking for a pest control company. Thank you Rich and all of you at Bulwark.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the service provided me by Bulwarks. They were responsive to my request - made via Angie's List. They honored the Angie's List coupon that I purchased and were very professional at every level. I will be doing business with them again.

The service was okay. They wanted me to sign up for a long time, so it wasn't much of a deal, but the service was fine. The big deal was no good if you didn't sign up long term. They said the one spraying was no good, unless they did it again. I feel like they pushed to come back often, and it is an automatic thing, like they will keep coming until you stop it.
