Response from All Pro Electrical Service
At All-Pro, we do indeed place a top priority on doing all our work efficiently and correctly the first time through. Customer satisfaction is priority alongside our commitment to install a safe, code-legal, and specification compliant electrical system. Up front are all of our prices, spelled out and explained in advance, so that there are no surprises for the client during the process. In this particular case, the client was quoted an hourly rate of $125.00 each hour for an electrician and an apprentice, plus material costs, our standard rate for preferred customers... these were referred by another client. An estimate as to the length of time the project should take, as well as the projected material costs were also given, as is customary with a job such as this. The fact that on the first day, there were 2 electricians on the job rather than 1 electrician with 1 apprentice, gave the client the idea that they should receive a reduced rate for the remainder of the project. Recognizing that the client was both inexperienced and unfamiliar with verbal agreements, for the sake of customer relations, we agreed to offer a reduced rate from that which was previously agreed upon. When All-Pro enters into an agreement with a prospective customer, we take special care to spell out each detail, complete our agreement in full, and in some cases when warranted, make concessions for the sake of customer relations. We have been doing business here in the Charlotte area for over 30 years and have a clientele of thousands of satisfied customers who feel that our up-front prices are both fair and competitive. Shop around and compare.
