Albert & Son Plumbing

I can totally recommend Albert. Unlike the first plumber, Southend, who came in at double the price with their free estimate, I called Albert and found him to be honest, up front, and on time. Hes earned my business for good!

Not well. Evidently, Albert & Son had a quid pro quo relationship with Rumsey Construction & Restoration, 920 Hemlock Drive, SC 29201 US. They responded immediately to a call from Albert and Son. I accepted their service only because they were recommended by Albert & Son who are on Angie's List. Rumsey had no references or recommendations. Rumsey estimated that the time the job would take would be five (5) weeks. The work was started in July 2017 and was not completed until December 2017 - five (5) months, four times (4x) the original time estimate. Our cost was much greater than the insurance reimbursement. I will never recommend either company again. I might add that my wife is on oxygen 24/7 and both of us have had heart surgery. This was very inconvenient for us. This company (Rumsey) used our cash flow to finance this operation.

Grossly overcharged $150 hour on this install and then outright lied in response to my initial review. I purchased the faucets and have the receipt from Home Depot, as they were not supplied by the plumber as falsely stated.

He came right out and replaced it the same day. I will definitely be using him again for a few of my projects in the future.

They are very punctual and they do good work.

Albert & Son arrived promptly when promised. Covered their shoes when entering the house. Explained what may need to be done. Performed work. Explained what was done. Clean up and complete in an hour. Very nice people to work with. Very knowledgeable. Very professional. I would use them again for future plumbing work.

Had a plumbing issue called received same day service fitting to my schedule. The service men were very professional and within an hour or so they resolved the issue. He also made some recommendations to prevent future issues and alerted me to a problem he observed on the roof in need of repair. Pricing was fair will certainly use and recommend.

Albert & Son responded very quickly and professionally. They arrived promptly and called on their way. With their experience and asking for my description of the problem, they were able to quickly climb up on the roof to clear the drain pipe blockage that was further down the line than in the kitchen sink trap. They double-checked their work and took the time to show me what they did. In addition, Slavo took a photo of the roof vent 'boot' that is cracked with age and could potentially cause issues in the future with rain leakage. They did not try to up-sell and were very thorough and professional. This is the first time I have used Albert & Son Plumbing and I was so pleased with EVERYTHING! I called them because I wanted a new hose bibb mounted in the backyard for easier access. Ours are currently mounted on the sides of our house and that means going outside the gate each time I want to turn on/off the water. Albert's son used the water pipe connected with our kitchen sink to run the extension pipe out into the backyard. He did everything to code and I now have a hose bibb conveniently located in my backyard with a switch under the sink to turn the water off during cold weather in order to protect the pipe from freezing. He found that our water pressure wasn't up to par and recommended replacing the Pressure Regulating device located in the garage next to our hot water heater. He told us that generally the life of this device is 10-15 yrs and our home is now 16 yrs old, so it was time to replace. Our pressure all through the house is SO much better now. I guess this device had been going bad for some time now. So glad we got it replaced. Water pressure is so much better. Then he went around to the side of our house and secured the hose bibb that the builder had never secured with screws. It just kind of wiggled all around when we would turn it on or off and my husband wanted it secured better. I can't tell you how pleased I was with their work and their professionalism.

Slovic and helper Ryan showed up on time and ready to work. Slovic is professional well spoken with a sense of humor that makes him unique in my experience. He knew exactly what to do and kept the work area clean during and after the job. When reinstalling the plumbing he made several improvements from the original installation demonstrating his professionalism and desire to "do it right." As to Albert & Sons Plumbing..."these guys are good!"

My experience with Albert and Son Plumbing, LLC was great and I would highly recommend them to family, friends and other Angie's list members. Albert, his son Slava (spelling?), and another very nice and polite young man - I'm sorry I forgot his name. On Monday morning, I noticed my hot water wasn't working, so I went up into the attic to see if the pilot light was out and discovered the tray under the water heater was full of water and the unit was still making a leaking/hissing sound. I wasn't expecting that since a different plumbing company installed that water heater less than 8 yrs ago. I called Albert and Son Plumbing at 7:30 Monday morning and Albert was able to swing by between jobs at around 9 a.m. My water heater is, unfortunately, in the attic and the pull down staircase is not wide enough to get the old one out and new one installed without removing parts of the staircase frame. Albert inspected the water heater and as I figured it needed to be replaced.. He immediately ordered the new water heater and came back with it in less than an hour and his son and another polite young man to help him get the old water heater out and the new water heater up into our very tight attic opening. I'm grateful that they were able to rearrange their schedule to squeeze so quickly, and I am impressed with the high level of customer service provided. I will definitely use them again in the future.

The service went very well. The company was punctual and professional. They explained the service in detail and followed through. They were fairly priced.

I called Albert & Sons after the expansion tank blew off my hot water heater and caused thousands of dollars in damage. They arrived the day they were contacted, despite their busy schedule. The service was prompt and solved the problem. Albert could have simply told me I needed to replace the hot water heater and I would have been none the wiser. Instead, he replaced what needed to be replaced (the tank, straps, etc). I am grateful for their service and honesty. I would absolutely use them again.

Originally, another A+ Angie list plumber came out to diagnose leaking hot water control. He advised me that parts for the Jacuzzie tub were hard to find and reccommended to replace the bath tube just to replace the water controls. Since there is nothing wrong with the tub, it was a hard pill to swallow.... Called Albert for a 2nd opinion. Within minutes he had the water controls apart. He quickely identified the control as the Delta brand. Went to his truck and replaced a washer and spring. Problem fixed in 15 minutes. Albert and Son are skilled craftsmen. They know what they are doing. They make repairs without the common practice of up-selling or make replacements to make thier job easier while adding cost to the customer. These guys saved me a major installation by making a simple repair. Good job.

It was good. They did a good job. It was quick and it was cheap.

We have called upon Albert & Son Plumbing for approx. 10 yrs.....from installing new hot water heater, to running toilet, to checking installation of gas grill, etc....Albert treats every job with prompt efficiency!! The BEST Plumber EVER!!

Everything went well. Did a very complete check to see if there was a backup. Stayed and tested our system for almost 20 minutes nonstop.

Punctual, addressed the problems professionally. Very satisfied with the work accomplished and end result. Owner and Son have been here on seperate assignments. They are highly proficient, the work areas are always left clean (not always an attribute from past plumbers) and very reasonable. Highly recommended.

After calling couple of companies, they agreed where the only onces who came asap!! They checked the damaged and got me a new heater in an hour for the same price as if I would have bought it at Home Depot or Lowes. I only paid additional the service to install it. I have to say, perfect service since they removed all the plastic pipes and put in copper like in the old days and how it suppose to be. Very friedly and absolute reliable service! I stick with them, since they know exactley what they are doing and they are very very honest!!! This company is a family company and they take care of you like you are a family member. So happy I found them!!!
