David was a pleasure to work with in regard to replacing a large portion of our concrete driveway that had been damaged by very large tree roots. The tree roots had cracked/heaved up portions of the driveway, creating a safety hazard for both people and vehicles. David is very knowledgeable, methodical, diligent, detail oriented/thorough, and very punctual. His pricing is very fair and he performs the job as described in his estimate. The replaced section of our driveway looks great! I would highly recommend David for any concrete work.

David was very prompt in getting me a quote. He was very detailed with what he would be doing and showed up when he said he would. That being said, David was redoing our driveway which had been done completely wrong by another contractor. Our driveway is a semi circle and we went out of town due to a death in the family part way through the project. When we were out of town we had several other contractors at our house. One morning I got a call from David as he was cussing out other workers because they were parked in a spot that he needed to access. I called the other contractor to apologize. When we got home the semi circle was lopsided by a foot at the tip of each side of the curve. When I inquired David told me of course it is because he followed the existing lines. I was like what? We had you re-do it because the other guy did a horrible job. Why would you follow his lines? He told us there was nothing he could do. Needless to say I’m annoyed that the re-do wasn’t done correctly.

I needed three sections of an entry pavement to my front door replaced. I called Monday afternoon and by Tuesday evening the job was complete. David Stallings was prompt, informative and thorough and his prices were reasonable. He did an excellent job framing the sidewalk sections that he replaced and took care not to disturb the nearby lawn or landscaping. He cleaned up when he was finished and alerted me to possible other issues that might affect the exterior condition of my property. He also carefully placed the wires to my recessed lighting in a conduit pipe beneath the concrete where they were out of the way but easy to access for future maintenance. Overall, this was the best contractor experience I've had in the Indian Land SC area.

David went out of his way to get this job done on time even though my mistake caused a half day delay. The price was fair and he even declined my offer to change to a cost plus contract after one of his suppliers raised the price of materials. He carefully considered my needs and the intended use of the pads in the construction.

David was quick to respond to my initial request for a quote and explained in detail how the job would go. He provided references in our neighborhood who we talked to and they also were pleased with his work several years later and used a higher PSI concrete than some of the competing quotes. We had drainage issues with one section of our existing driveway which David was able to address as well as providing additional options for future drainage to add to our surrounding landscape. David was great at communicating throughout the project, explaining each step of the way and giving updates on the timeline. He showed up on time every day, worked hard, and cleaned up well at end of day. I was a bit nervous about it being only a 2 man crew given the size of our driveway but they worked efficiently and delivered a high quality product.

I was very impressed and would hire them again for my next concrete work. I highly recommend this family business!

David was a true pleasure to work with when I had my concrete patio poured. My previous patio was an absolute nightmare. The previous owners had just laid brick pavers down on top of dirt and it had settled and caused drainage issues. After three years we had had enough and decided to replace it with concrete. After searching all morning and requesting quotes from big name companies I stumbled across Ace Concrete on Angi. The "big name" companies couldn't make it out until later in the week and one of them even had a minimum charge of $4,000 before even starting a job. I reached out to David and he answered my first phone call with a pleasant demeanor. He even offered to meet me at my home during my lunch break to look at the patio and quote the work. I was extremely pleased with the price he quoted as it seemed like an incredible bargain for the work that needed to be done. David even offered to give me a lower price if I pulled up the bricks myself which I was happy to do. David told me he would be out to grade the dirt on Sunday morning and pour the concrete the following day. David showed up when he said he would and it's clear that he takes pride in his work. Aside from his punctuality, the quality of his work was outstanding. You can really tell that he has been doing this for 30+ years. He did everything while I was at work on Monday morning (my wife supervised the job). When I got home I was impressed with the patio and he gave my wife some great tips for maintaining the concrete. We highly recommend Ace concrete and will certainly be calling David back when it's time to widen our driveway!

David provided excellent service. He is punctual and keeps his word and his pricing is beyond fair. We were really impressed with his attention to detail and the quality of his work. He has been doing this for 30+ years and it shows. We started with a small section and were so pleased that we expanded our project to triple the size. He was also very respectful of our property and cleaned up throughly every day. If you are looking for excellent concrete work we could not have a stronger recommendation.

David did a great job from start to finish. He was on time, the finished product looked great , and it I will definitely work with him again on another project.

They did a very good job at a fair price. David is easy to work with and is very experienced in what he does. Driveway looks great and I would recommend them especially since they are a local family operated business.

For the first couple of years everything was fine. Then, brown spots started to appear everywhere. I contacted David Stallings at ACE Concrete to find out what the spots were and what we could do about it. He took no responsibility for his work and hung up the phone. When I tried to call back to find out what the spots were and what we could do, I got no answer and still have not heard back from David.

David Stallings, who owns the company and does most of the work with help from his son and one worker, did an excellent job. He was professional, honest, knowledgeable, and considerate of my property and my neighbors' property. Being very punctual and aware of a timeline, he finished when he said he would complete the job. Throughout the process, he took time to explain what had to be done and why. I have recommended him to several neighbors, and I hope that his business can benefit from the reputation his work ethic has made for him.

David Stallings came out the same day I called to look at my very small job. I also had him look at my existing 12 year old driveway and sidewalks. He said there was no work needed on the driveway, etc. He agreed to pour the small area I needed (about 12 ft x 15 ft) even though it was smaller than his normal minimum size job. He came out the very next day and did a great job on it. David is professional, courteous, and honest. I would not hesitate to use him again and will be recommending him to family and friends.

David was an outstanding contractor. He showed up when he said he would, kept me informed of progress, and completed and cleaned the job expertly as planned. We are very pleased with his work and would hire him again. Highly recommended.

David returned our call, came by and gave us a quote and said he had a job that was to be started tomorrow but the owner wanted to delay, and he could do our job starting in the morning. As stated he showed up early and removed our old patio with minimum damage to yard. He finished the work the same day and it was installed better than the original one.

Despite very humid weather and multiple equipment failures, David did an excellent job of removing and replacing the damaged area of our driveway and sidewalk. He straightened and raised the sidewalk and gave me advice on drainage. The work was completed in one day.

I needed a small extension to my driveway to accommodate parking a new vehicle. David came out the day I called and was able to perform the installation the very next week. He uses commercial grade concrete and made sure that everything was done correctly...including making sure that the driveway drained away from my house and away from my garage. Definitely very professional. I'd hire him again.

The contractors were on time and very courteous. David told me every step of the way what was happening. He was very professional and had the project done on schedule. He is a 2 man crew, which I thought was odd, but they worked well and efficiently together. They left my yard and area very clean.

David has completed work for us three times, and my experience has always been positive. He is responsive and punctual when quoting and performing work. His pricing is very reasonable, and he does excellent work. I've received numerous compliments on the work he has done on our driveway. Also, he completely cleans up after completing the work. I highly recommend David.
