Ace Concrete

He was really good. He raised and attached the concrete to the existing driving, to get rid of a bump that was there. He did a great job. They were really neat. They had to dig up the monkey grass that was there, and then he put it back for me. He was very professional, he knew his stuff, and he was very meticulous on what he did.

We are very happy with the final result of our driveway extension. David was very responsive to our calls/questions and very punctual (which is always nice since contractors sometimes aren't that way). Price in comparison to other concrete companies was very good!

Ace came out to give an estimate. We were pleased with the estimate and scope of work which was a stamped concrete patio. We had asked for a unique pattern and design. Ace worked with us to achieve the desired effect and they seemed professional. The evening before the work was to begin they dropped of materials and discussed the project. The next morning I had taken off from work to oversee the project. I received a call from another employee telling me that the employee that I had been working with was in jail and would not be available to do the job. The owner declined to reschedule me due to his workload.

The job went well the owner was there on site the wlole time. He listened to my request and followed through. Work was done professionally with attention to detail, like making sure the driveway was pitched correctly so water would not run into my garage...thank you. The crew was friendly and cleaned up after the job was done. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get concrete work done. Also they weren't the lowest price, but not the highest either.

Mr. Stallings was very polite and professional as were the men working with him. He arrived on time and was finished when he said he would be. Cleaned up after. Came out and gave me an written estimate and a copy of his liability insurance. Was truthful in telling me it would be about 3 weeks before he could do it and it ended up being earlier than that. I would refer anyone to this company.

,Dave and crew were very punctual and professional. They worked later until the job was done. I was very impressed on how thorough of a job was done.The cost was more than fair and would definitely refer Ace Concrete to others. This was our second time using David Stallings for concrete work. He had done some repair work to my driveway a few months ago. We had a section to remove and a really crumbled section. After he finished the first work we made a deal for him to come back and replace the rest of the driveway.. He had us on the books and when I called him he was booked for a few weeks, but worked us in and completed the job on Friday. He did a very good job and did not tear up the grass with his bobcat like I was afraid he would. I don't have any more concrete work to do but if I have any I will use him again. Great job!

David Stallings answered my phone call and was at our house for a free estimate before the end of business the same day. He was clear in what was needed to repair a hole that had been created by another company quite some time ago. The concrete had cracked and needed to be sawed straight and cleaned up and the deep hole needed to be filled. He was involved in a large job elsewhere and told us it could be up to a week before he could get to us. That was fine by us as it had been that way for an embarrassingly long time anyway so imagine my happy surprise when two days later David called and said he could be there in an hour and would complete the job that day! He was at the house as promised and the job is perfect! He cleaned up and gave very specific directions on follow up care and maintenance and when the pour would be good to drive and walk on. He was personable, professional and extremely efficient. We will definitely use Ace Concrete again for our concrete needs and we feel very good about recommending this company to everyone!

David and crew arrived right on time and completed the job when they said they would. This was a small job but David and crew were very professional and thorough. I am very happy with their work.

David was good to work with. He provided the estimate and was very knowledgeable. He was here when he said he would be and there were no issues with the work.

Everything went well from start to finish! I called David, the owner, on October 7 for an estimate and he was able to come out the same day to look at the problem. He explained what repairs were required, and patiently answered questions about the type of concrete and the exact procedure. He also gave us a written estimate and provided proof of insurance right off the bat. We decided to hire Ace Concrete, and did not have to wait long to have the work done - 6 days later, David and his crew arrived promptly in the morning on schedule, and worked diligently till the job was done - it took about half a day. David was there the whole time and supervised the work as well as working very hard himself. This was not a simple repair - the large tangle of thick tree roots under the concrete walkway sections and driveway was not easy to remove, and required the use of a Bobcat. Basically, everything had to be ripped up and removed and all the old concrete had to be completely replaced. The work was done with minimal impact to the front yard and the area of yard next to the driveway. All of the debris was cleared away nicely. When the job was done, we had perfectly formed new concrete sections! One new walkway section abutted our downward-sloping driveway, and the edge of the section matched the slope perfectly and seamlessly. We were given instructions concerning the care of the new concrete, which were very helpful. We would definitely hire this company again; this was a good experience. Dave did a great job. He came out when he said he would and completed the project as promised. We are very happy with the new extension to our driveway and highly recommend Dave and his work.

A bit of a rocky start due to David misjudging slope of my property resulting in not being able to place pad exactly where I wanted it. I had a plan B though and we placed the pad in a different location only after the property was dug up and leveled in the Plan A spot. Everything happens for a reason they say - the new location will probably work out better in the long run anyway so I am happy even though it has created additional work for me. David was prompt, good communication and follow through, and his crew was professional and did a great job. I would use him in the future for any projects requiring concrete.

David is great! He answered the on the first phone call on a Saturday morning, came out that afternoon to a**** the situation, and came back on the upcoming Tuesday. He and his team started an finished the job all in the same day. I highly recommend him and will use him again if I need anything else.

I was quite pleased with the work. David is a true professional and takes time to explain what is going on as they are working. It was very hot the day they tore out the old concrete until a thunderstorm came in and filled the area with water. They came out the next day and put a huge tarp on the area in case of more storms. The day the drive was poured was quite hot again, but it all went very well and I am proud of my new driveway. This is an excellent company.

I called David at Ace in March 2014. I told him about my project. He mailed an estimate. The plans got put off and I called him back a few months later and he happy to speak with me. He even had a copy of the original estimate. He came by house and saw the job and explained what needed to be done. I forgot about the slope of my yard. We decided on a day to start. He said he would be there at 7:30am. Generally when any contractor tells me this I understand this is code for 9am. David was out my house at 7am unloading a Bobcat to get started. Everything went as planned and now I have a new patio. I would recommend Ace Concrete for all your needs.

I needed some recommendations on fixing my driveway after having plumbers dig a channel in the middle to fix a water main break. Dave came by the same day I called to provide a quote on tearing out a section to square off the repair and pouring new concrete. Dave's price was very competitive, and scheduling the work was very easy. Dave completed the job in 1 day, the results were great. Dave and team were very professional and wouldn't hesitate using Dave again.

David is prompt - answers phone himself - or, returns calls as quickly as possible. He knows the business - tuned into weather forecast and will only lay concrete when weather allows. Take his advice as he knows what he is doing. Just wish we had done it sooner as makes a huge difference to our house and our safety. David installed a new driveway over our existing gravel driveway. Everything from start to finish was excellent. He was punctual, courteous and communicated with us through the whole process. I would recommend and definitely use again.
