Description of Work: I wanted my garage floor sloped so the entry to the house would be on the level. The person who came out informed me that was not what I needed (it was) and proceeded to try to sell me a different solution, one that would have turned a perfectly good two car garage into a one car garage and would have left me falling on the ground to boot. I was so surprised at his treatment of me that I did not kick him out of my house but did determine to never ever use their services.

Description of Work: removed existing 40 year old cracked concrete turnaround and poured a new turnaround. David was great to work with. He initially came out and gave an estimate and that was the price he stuck with for the job. I was very pleased with the price and the work.

+ -1 moreDavid respond is very prompt and professional. Did a good job on the project. Did concrete pouring as exactly as it said. There is no back filling of any dirt and thus it make the job looks ''incomplete''. I would definitely ask that question the next time I have a concrete pouring job. Other than the ''incomplete'' look, he did a good job on the concrete. I had slightly more expensive quote but no sure that would have included all the backfilling of dirt, etc.

+ -1 moreThe work was completed in an afternoon, and I extremely please with the price. David is very personable, and conscientious.
Description of Work: Concrete in driveway had buckled due to age and tree roots. Ace removed a 9' X 12' section of concrete from driveway, disposed of old concrete, formed and poured new concrete. I felt like the price of the work was very reasonable, and I was expecting a quote of roughly twice what I paid. David gave me the quote on Monday, and did the work on Tuesday. The backhoe did a bit of damage to the neighbor's yard, but that's the only thing approaching a negative comment that I can make. I will not hesitate to use Ace again and will recommend this firm to anyone having concrete work done.

THE SIDEWALK SLOPE/GRADE IS TOO STEEP, EVEN AFTER I TALKED ABOUT IT WITH HIM, AND THE COLOR IS UNEVEN AFTER SEVERAL WEEKS OF CURING. THERE WERE SEVERAL TOOL MARKS LEFT IN THE WALKWAY, WHICH I HAD TO CORRECT AFTER HE LEFT BY BUYING CONCRETE AT A HOME CENTER.

DISAPPOINTED WITH THE PATCHES OF CONCRETE TRASH LEFT IN THE YARD, WITH THE HOLES MADE BY THE BOBCAT (SHOULDN'T SOMEONE HAVE AT LEAST ATTEMPTED A REPAIR OR PATCH?), AND WITH THE HEAVY CONCRETE BAG LEFT IN OUR GARBAGE CAN.
